Make wine glass in adobe illustrator

Today im going to show you how to make a wine glass like this

1. Make glass

You have 2 options, you can either draw this shape using the brush tool or you can start off with a cirlce and play with the shape using the direct selection tool(the gray arrow)

after you have made the shape using any of the options that I told you, we are going to give it a fill

select the glass then go to the swatches panel, then click on those 2 folders at the bottom, then gradients, then metals

now there should be a menu the pop up like in the picture below, click on the highlighted color(circled in blue in the below pic)

now open the gradients menu on the right panel while selecting the glass, then click on the arrow thats in the middle and delete it

it should now look like this

and select the glass and type in -12, to change how the linear gradient looks

now make a copy of the glass and change the copy to linear number to 0

and place the copy below the original and it should look like this now and make sure the copy is the one in front

2. Bottom part of the glass

now select the round rectangle tool on the left menu, draw the bottom part of the glass using the round rectangle tool, give it a fill just like the glass using the eyedropper tool

now draw the other bottom part of the glass using the ellipse tool, give it a fill just like the glass using the eyedropper tool

and place it just like in the below pic and send it to the back

3. Make wine

now select the ellipse tool, draw a circle and use the direct selection tool to the delete the top half of the circle, just click on the top and hit delete key
make the shape the size of your glass

now select the shape and give it a radial gradient, going from dark red to black just select the colors on the swatches panel and drag and drop them into each arrow

make your gradient similar to mines

now copy the wine and make the copy smaller and change the copy gradient a little different
place the copy in front and remember to make it a little smaller or at least shorter

Now your all done

Make 3d smiley face in adobe illustrator

Today's tutorial is making a 3d smiley face in adobe illustrator

1. Circle

create a simple circle like in the pic and give it a radial gradient on the swatches panel

now open the gradient menu like in the pic below along with the swatches panel

2. Gradient colors

go to the swatches library(the 2 little folders on the swatches panel at the bottom) see pic

now click on the swatches library, go to nature, then beach

there should be a bunch of colors to choose from that shows up on a new menu
your gonna see a folder next to each group of colors, the group that is circled in red in the below pic, click on the folder next to it

close out of the beach menu, the group a blue colors should now be added to the swatches panel like below circled in green

now your going to make your gradient for the circle look like mines. The color that is highlighted is for the arrow that is highlighted with the same color.

3. make the eyes

start of with 2 eyes using the ellipse tool to draw it. Give the eyes a fill of light blue. I used the lightest blue thats from the group of colors we used earlier.

now select those to circles and make a duplicate of each. Place each copy like in the pic below.

select the 2 copies and give them a radial gradient going from dark grey(circled in red below) to black

now make another copy and make it a little smaller, give it a white fill, and place it in the eye like the below pic

4. Mouth

Make a circle and click on the top portion of the circle with the direct selection tool(dont worry about the fill of the circle yet).

now click on the top portion of it and delete it, it should like a half circle(below pic)
and place the mouth where it should be

select the mouth and give it a radial gradient going from light blue to medium blue using the colors from the group of blue colors(see pic)

now select the mouth, copy and paste it and give the copy a black fill

place the copy in the same position as in the below pic(in front the gradient colored mouth)

5. Cheeks

now to make the cheeks you can either draw it with a brush or just make a circle like i did, give it no fill, give it a black stoke, use direct selection tool to delete portions of it, and rotate it in the proper position matching the below pic

6. Teeth

just make a copy of the mouth , give the copy a white stroke, and make the copy a little smaller like in the pic

and place one set of teeth at the top and another set at the bottom

now just draw a line and give it a light gray stroke, to separate each teeth and make it seem realer like in the pic below

7. Tongue

make a copy of the mouth and give it a 3 radial gradient going from red, to dark red, and back to the same red

your done now your smiley should look like this

Make a blue clock in adobe illustrator

Today Im going to show you how to make a clock like this in adobe illustrator.

1. Circle

Start off with a circle like this

Go to the swatches panel on the right, click on those two little folders, then nature, then beach

Now there should be a bunch of colors that show up on a menu, each color row has a folder in front, click on the folder next to the blue colors(circled in the photo)

when you clicked on the folder the blue colors should be available at the swatches menu on the right tools panel like below

Select the circle, give it no stroke(square with red line located at the bottom left)

click to give it a linear gradient going from medium blue to dark blue The colors that I used are circled in the photo below

the one circled in black is dark blue, it goes to the black arrow on the gradient

the one circled in red is medium blue, it goes to the right arrow on the gradient

2. Second Circle

Select the circle go to object, path, offset path

now a menu should come up like the below photo

im not sure what size document your using in illustrator me, im using 100x100 so this step may vary from person to person

so your going to have to play around in the negatives numbers, I changed the offset to -2

click okay and you should have a second circle like that above

now were going to change the gradient of the second circle
GIVE IT A RADIAL GRADIENT

give it a gradient of 6 colors like i did, I circled the colors you should use

First is white
Second is medium blue, its circled in red
Third is white
Forth is dark blue circled in black
Fifth is medium blue, its circled in red
Sixth is light blue its circled in green

3. Third circle

While selecting the second circle go to object, path, offset path

When the menu comes up, change the offset to -6

give the 3rd circle a linear gradient from white to light blue(I circled the light blue to use in red)

4. Forth circle

go to object, path, offset path

were going to make a forth circle give it a -2 offset

give it a linear gradient going from light blue(circled in red below) to dark blue(circled in black below)

5. Fifth Circle

Select the forth circle go to object, path, offset path

give it a radial gradient, going from light blue(circled in red) to lighter blue(circled in black)

6. Round rectangle

were now going to make a round rectangle

start off with a normal rectanlge and give it a dark blue fill, then go to effect, stylize, round corners

it should look like the one below

now make a copy of it at the bottom like this

then select them both at the same time(click on one, then hold shift key, then click on other)

then right click and group

now select the group and go to effect, distort&transform, and transform

then a menu like this should show up give it 5 copies and 30 angle

click okay and it should look like this

now add the numbers using the type tool and using whatever font and color you want(i used dark blue color)

and now draw the dials any way you want

now draw a circle like I did and give it a gradient going from light blue, medium blue, dark blue
and right click, arrange, send to back

now make a copy of that circle and put it in the other position

now draw 2 round rectangles , give them the same gradient as those 2 little circle we placed at the bottom(u can use the eyedropper tool to do the) ,rotate them in the proper position like this

Make a Bowl and Chopsticks in adobe illustrator

Today's tutorial I will be showing you how to make a bowl and some chop sticks.

1. Background

To make the background use either a square or rectangle, Make it as big as your work page. Everyone uses a different size so make your square or rectangle as big as your work page.

Here's what I'm referring to when I say work page.

Now select your square or rectangle its going to be your background so select your background

Then go to to the gradients menu. You can drag it out like I usually do. Then while keeping the gradient menu open, open the swatches menu on the right panel. It looks like a bunch of squares that make a rectangle.

Then on the swatches menu click on those two little folders at the bottom left.

After click on the folders there should be a menu with a list of things to choose from that shows up, go to nature and then beach

their should now be a menu that shows up and have lots of colors for you to choose from

on the menu where you see a bunch of brown colors next to each other, you will see a folder next to it click on that folder(see pic)

it will now add the folder to the swatches panel(making it easier to use those colors)

Now below the brown colors there should be a bunch of yellow colors, next to the yellow colors there should be a folder, click on that folder 

the yellow and brown colors should show up on your swatches panel so click out of the beach menu

Look at the bunch of brown colors, click and hold the 2nd brown color(starting from left) drag it and drop it on the black arrow

do the same for the 4th brown color(star counting from left to right),  but drag and drop it on the white arrow

2. Square design

draw a square in the middle of the background

set its stroke to none, but give it a dark brown fill( use the 1st dark brown you see where the bunch of brown colors from before are located at, 

select the brown square we just made and go to object, and rasterize

there should be a menu that comes up like this just press ok, nothing will change

still select the square, go to objects, create object mesh.

a menu should show up like the below picture, make only the CIRCLED VALUES the same as mine.

Your square should change and become like this

3. Bowl

draw a circle , don't worry about the fill yet

select the circle and go to the direct selection tool on the left tools panel, it looks like a gray arrow

click on the top of the circle like this 

then move the top part that you just clicked on down, it should look like this now

Now where going to give it a gradient

Select it, then open the gradients menu and the swatches menu, where going to drag and place a dark brown on the black arrow of the gradient menu. #726658(its highlighted in red on the below pic)

Now select the brown that next to it to the left(its highlighted in blue in the below pic), drag on drop it on the white arrow

It should look like this now

Now make a oval and place it on top of the previous circle we made like this.

Give it a light brown shade, select the oval and double click on the fill at the bottom left and type in

#E5D3BD for the fill color

now copy the oval and make one smaller then it, place it on top of the oval and in the front like this

select the smaller oval and give it a fill of color #F1E8BB

it should look like this now

4. Chopsticks

start of by making a vertical line using the ellipse tool like the below photo

it doesnt matter what the fill is where going to change it anyways

now select it and open the gradients menu, and select the brown highlighted in red in the below pic and drag and drop it onto the black arrow

now select the light brown(highlighted in the below pic in blue) in the swatches menu and drag and drop it onto the white arrow

now select the chop stick rotate it look like the picture below

Select the chop stick and make a copy(CTRL + V)

select the copy and rotate it like the below photo

Now where going to make the plate under below it

draw an oval like the below photo

select the dark brown highlighted in blue and drag and drop it onto the white arrow

select the light brown highlighted in red and drag and drop it onto the black arrow

select the plate and double click on the stroke, at the bottom left and give it this stroke #B29C88

Move the arrows around to make it similar to mines

select the bowl(NOT THE PLATE) and the chopsticks and group them together 

Left click and group

grouping makes it easier so just select the group and right click, arrange, bring to front

now move the plate below it like the photo below, parts of the plate should disappear since the bowl is the one in front. #B29C88

The last part is just designing the bottom and the top part how ever you want

I just used a brush to make the waves and gave it a dark brown fill

Do it however you want its not important. Your design should look like this.

Make iphone in adobe illustrator

Today's tutorial I will be showing you how to make an iphone in adobe Illustrator
this is very easy to do, not tricky at all

1. Make a round Rectangle

Start of with a rectangle make its length longer then its width just like the iphone
Now give it a gray fill of your choice. I used this gray #A7A9AC.

Now give it a gray stroke. I used #D1D3D4. The stroke size should be 1 pt if it isnt already.

Where going to select the rectangle and now go to effect, stylize, round corners.

you should now see a little menu come up for you to type in the point size. Put 10.

Your Rectangle should become like this now

2. Copy

Copy the Rectangle we just made(CTR+V)

now the copy change its fill to black, and change its stroke to none.
the stroke is at the bottom left(see pic)

Now make the copy a little smaller then the original(see pic)
place the copy above the original(black fill should bee in front)

3. Add screen

Make a small square and place it in the middle of the iphone. It should be in front of the black rectangle. Give the square a dark gray fill. #414042

4. Buttons

Where going to first make the design that looks like a half circle

You can either use a brush tool to draw it manually or you can do it my way

Here's my way of doing it, start of with 2 small circle like in the photo
you can make 1 and then copy it. Give one of the small circles a dark gray fill(# 6D6E71)

the other circle give it a black fill.

now move the black circle above the gray circle so the gray circle can become like a half circle design.

Now just move that design onto the iphone below the gray screen we made before. The black circle should blend into the background. Like this

Now where going to make a small round rectangle.

Start of with a small rectangle, then go to effect, stylize, round corners.
Change the Point to 1.

Now select the small rectangle and change its fill to none and its stroke to dark grey(#6D6E71)

Now make a small rectangle it should look like a line. You can use a line if u want to.

give it a fill dark grey(#6D6E71)

place it at the top of the iphone and in the center(see pic)

Make Restaurant Logo

Today's blog I will show you how to make a company logo like this

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PURCHASE THIS BOOK

you get every adobe software help and the book explains how to use it, Without these books I would not understand adobe

1. Round rectangle

Make a rectangle just like the picture by going to the left panel and click on round rectangle

If you dont know how to make a round rectangle, go to the menu button shown in the picture below the T

Remember to set the stroke to none, the stroke is at the bottom left, to set it to none just click on the little square that has a red line going through it. (see pic below for example)

2. add gradient

I gave a tutorial about how to use gradients,

Just drag out the gradient menu located at the right panel and keep the swatches menu open (see pic below)

then click on the radial gradient(see pic) and then select the dark blue(see pic) drag it to the black arrow, and then select the light blue and drag it to the white arrow(see pic)

Your circle should change from black fill to a blue gradient fill like the below pic

3. Erase parts of rectangle

Your now going to erase parts of the rectangle, go to the erase tool on the left panel(see pic) and then click on it and erase parts of the rectangle to make the rectangle become 3 seperate parts

Hold down the shift key to erase in a straight line

now select the left part move it a little close to the middle

now select the right part and move it a little close to the middle

4. Add a curved line

Use the brush tool to draw a curved line, the curved line should look like the pic below and set its stroke to the same dark blue like before

5. Font trick

This is a trick to add to whatever font you used

I used Sony Sketch font, I downloaded it but you can use whatever font you want

Now for your first font, type out cuisine or you can use whatever name you want

then click on the font and set it stroke to none and its fill, it should now become invisible
go to the appearance menu on the right panel(see pic) it looks like a circle with a black fill

then after that click on the upside down arrow with the lines by it on the right of the menu, then click add new fill(see pic)

then on the add new fill click on the blue upside down arrow and then on the radial gradient like the one from before
and drag and drop the same colors used from before light blue and dark blue for the

remember dark blue goes on the black arrow
light blue goes on the white arrow

Now where going to type the word international using whatever cursive hand writing font you have, I used
choping script which I download
download here

Rememeber type I in capital and the rest lower case

give the word international a medium blue fill, its next to the light blue fill from before(see pic)

6. Add the flames

Type the letter S, I used the font Myriad pro and give it a blue fill any way you like then click on it and right click and arrange and send to back

make 2 copies and you should now have 3 S remember to send them to back and place them on top of the middle part of the round rectangle(see pic)

Today's Blog is about some of my logo creations, Feel free to show me your creations

Everything I make is from scratch, nothing is copied

1. Life Is like a disco

Its not really a company logo I just made this for fun. I created this in adobe photoshop, believe it or not but for me to make this I started off with a square.

2. Chow Wow

This is I gave a tutorial about how to draw the dog I made this from scratch and used circles and brushes, look at the tutorial to learn how to make it.

3. Drink water love life

I used gradients and played with the direct selection tool to make the water drop. The heart was drawn from scratch. For the water drop I started of with a oval.

4. Drink Water Love life part 2

I did this the same way as number one, all I did differently was try to add text effects.

5. Justin Taylor Photography

Not really difficult to make this, all I did was use the scissors to erase a part of the circle and added an arrow.

6. Open Dining Network

I drawn a circle and use the direct selection tool to erase the left portion of it and added some gradients.

7. Legends Realty

I used to triangles and just erase parts from it. Easy to do.

8. Kapsel Coffee

Making the coffee mug was kinda tricky. Its alot of circle put together to make it. I used 2 different fonts for this.

9. Thank a farmer

This had to be the most tricky one. The reason for that Is because it was hard making the fruits. All I was thinking about was circles cause thats what is mostly used.

10. Pangea

This one didnt really take much to make

Its basically the same from before

12. Green Island

For this I used a leaf that came with adobe illustrator and just placed them in unique places

13. Cake Shoppe

I created this little shop from scratch and everything In it.

14. Metro Kitchen

This was just a logo for a kitchen company

15. Nurish Cafe

This is a logo for a healthy food company, I used a leaf and edited it to give it the look I wanted

16. The Lux(wine bottle design)

If you look closely this is a hallway for the picture on the right

17. Drink Water Love Life

These are my 2 favorite drink water logos, I used photoshop for the font effects, the heart is suppose to be a water splash.

18. Wine Solutions

Its a wine company logo, I used this creative brush on the side of the line.

Make a cake in adobe illustrator

Today Im going to show you how to make a cake like this in adobe illustrator.(sorry I havent uploaded anything in a while)

STEP 1 2 ovals

use the ellipse tool to make 2 ovals like this, 1 above the other

STEP 2 Use direct selection tool

now click on the direct selection tool on the left tools panel(the arrow that is gray)

click on the circle, click on the top anchor(blue line at top of circle) and press erase(backspace), you should now have a half a circle(do that for both circles)

STEP 3 Make half circle join

Use the direct selection tool and select the right tip of each half circle and use Shift to select both circle

here's how you do it, click on 1 of the half circle, then hold down shift and click on its right tip, while still holding down shift key click on the other half circle to select it, and then click on its right tip too

now go to object path and join, they should now join and look like this

STEP 4 create and add an oval on top

Just like the oval that you did before make one again and add it to the top and it should look like this

STEP 6 starting the fun part with the gradients

select the bottom part the one which was joined and add a gradient to it on the right panel, and click on swatches and then click on radial gradient

drag out the gradient menu on the right panel

USE WHATEVER COLOR YOU WANT I USED PINK

(dont let go of it or it will just change the gradient to pink)
select the pink color(#EC008C) and drag it on to the black arrow on the gradients panel

Now add another pink color of ur choice to the white arrow on the gradients

if you want to use mine, heres how you do it

select the swatches menu on the right panel, then click on the icon that looks like 2 folders at the bottom and then, go to foods and then to sweets

now select the pink(#F49AC1) shown on the picture below

and then hold it and drag it onto the white arrow,

STEP 7 add a stroke

select the bottom part the one that was joined and then click on stroke at the bottom left of the screen and double click on it and type in F59DB2 for color

now just select the top oval and just use the eyedropper and click on the bottom part with the gradient to make it look like the bottom part

now the top oval should already be selected, so hold down the shift key and click on the bottom part of the cake the one that was joined, now both should be selected

right click and group and now they should become one and now you just created the top layer of the cake

STEP 8 make copies

make a copy of the group of circle u just made and make the copy a little bigger

select the copy, right click, arrange and send to back

you now have a second layer of cake, place the second layer under the 1st layer

now just make a copy of the second layer and make it a little bigger and, right click, arrange, send to back

now place the 3rd layer you just made under the second layer

Now its time to decorate

STEP 9 decorate

I used a brush to make the white design u see, but I downloaded the brush heres a link if you want to decorate it like mines
(this isnt my brush its uploaded by someone else)

when u have downloaded and installed everything, use any brush you want i used the art brush 23 and then used the paintbrush to draw a line and add it to each cake layer like this

NEXT i drew a heart and added it to the second layer just draw a heart using the paint brush and then use the eye dropper and give it the same color as the cake

NEXT the word LOVE use any font to make it I used english font here's the link
im going to teach you a trick to added gradients to the font

select your font, then click to change stroke to none, the little square with red line going through at the bottom left below the fill

your font should be invisible since it doesnt have any fill or stroke, go to appearance on the right panel, and click on the upside down arrow(its circled in blue in the bellow picture) then add new fill

you font should come back black

now on the appearance menu click on the blue upside down arrow and u should now see the swatches of colors to choose from click on the radial gradient same as the one used at the beginning of tutorial
KEEP THE GRADIENTS MENU OPEN AND DRAG IT OUT LIKE I DID

click on swatches library menu(looks like 2 folders) then go to foods and then ice cream

now u should see colors to choose from , select the pink, the first one you see on the second row and drag and drop it on the black arrow on the gradients menu

NEXT decorate the top the way you want I used a bow

I dont know if your adobe illustrator has it but you can check by

going to the symbols menu right next to the swatches panel, then click on the 2 little folders at the bottom and then click on celebration and select the red bow

BE WARNED, its red, mines is pink because I edited it to make it pink, by double click it and click OK, then right click and click ungroup and adding pink that I wanted from the swatches panel, doing this would be another tutorial so Im sorry but I cant show you how to do it right now but u can do it urself its just changing the fills to pink by just click on the pink you want nothing hard

YOUR ALL DONE

your cake should look like this, if not then do back and start over

Make an HDTV in adobe illustrator

STEP 1 Draw a simple square
make the rectangle whatever size you want and give it a black fill

STEP 2 Duplicate the square
copy and paste the rectangle(ctr+c/ ctrl+v), then now make the copy smaller then the original but still look the same(use shift key, select the bottom edge and push it inwards to make smaller or just make it smaller the way you usually do) and bring the copy to the front with the black fill
you should now have a big rectangle and a smaller one brought to the front
(like below the smaller rectangle is selected,)

STEP 3 3D affect to the bigger rectangle
Select the bigger rectangle, then go to appearance on the right panel

Click the appearance , the one that looks like an O(circle), then to the right click on graphics

Then at the bottom of the graphics menu click on the icon that looks like 2 folders, then click on image effects

then on the image effects menu, click on the RED drop shadow hard effect. It should now change the bigger rectangle fill and also add a drop shadow. Go back and change the rectangle fill back to black

STEP 4 Change the fills to gradients

Select the bigger rectangle. Go to the swatches panel and click on the gradient fill the radial one. It should now change the fill of your bigger rectangle to a gradient.

It should now start to look more like a flat screen tv

STEP 5 select the smaller rectangle and change its fill

select the smaller rectangle, go to the swatches panel and click on the linear gradient it should be the first one on the same row as the radial gradient from before.

Like mines your tv should not look so sexy, atleast not yet

STEP 6 Change the smaller rectangles gradient

if you dont know how to change rectangles fills look at my previous blog about gradients before you continue
now select the smaller rectangle, drag out the gradients menu or the swatches menu whichever you prefer.

then your going to need to have three gradients Arrows(you should already have two, a black and white)
after you have 3 gradient arrows, drag and add the color #58595B or (3rd color after the black color on the bottom row(if you have that row)) to the first arrow and the last arrow, not the middle one. slide down your middle gradient arrow a little closer to the left arrow(see picture below).

The middle arrow should have a black fill, if not change it. Step 6 should look like this below

STEP 7 add this little bottom part for the the tv stand(see picture)

You can make a circle, use the direct selection tool to delete the top part of the circle and make it a half circle, or draw it with a brush tool, or just make a circle and right click,arrange,send to back and place it bellow the tv still it looks like a half a circle

You have to change the fill of the little bottom part to linear fill and replace the white arrow on the gradient menu with the same gray color from before # 58595B (see below picture for example)

Dont use 3 arrows for the gradient just use 2(the original amount of arrows)

STEP 8 add the bottom part for the TV stand

create a rectangle that is smaller then the tv about half the length(see picture below)
copy and paste the smaller rectangle and

make a even smaller rectangle by holding down the shift key and selecting the bottom edge and click and drag the bottom of the rectangle Inwards or just do it the normal way and make it smaller then the original rectangle

give the smaller rectangle the same fill as the smaller rectangle that was part of the tv, to do that just select the smaller rectangle, use the eyedropper tool ,click on the smaller rectangle for the TV(the one with the 3 gradient arrows) it should automatically change the fill of the small rectangle and it should now have a gradient fill.

just send those the rectangle you just created back( right click, arrange, send to back)

EXTRA(optional) Now just use any shape to make the TV button I used a round rectangle and gave it a white outer fill and a black inner fill

YOUR ALL DONE
your tv should look like this, if not you did something wrong

Some of the contest include webpages,stationary, logo designs, button&icon designs, t-shirt designs, banner ad designs, print designs, twitter background designs, quickbook form designs, and custom wordpress themes.

The contest that they have can be blind contest meaning no one else can see the design but contest holder(the person paying the money).

After you win your first contest you can submit designs on the logo store. At the store you just submit a logo and there's no contest, if someone see's your design and likes it they can purchase it for $99 or buy it out for $256(meaning no one else will get that logo but them). You will then have 24 hours to edit the logo and put their company name in it and submit.

2. Dafont.com

What is dafont? dafont.com is a site where you can get a variety of fonts free. But some of them are not commercial fonts and are only for personal use(like a project for school, cant sell them) if you do find a font you like the creator of the font can allow you to purchase the font for commercial use.

Some creators allow you to use fonts commercially as long as you donate to them for their time spent creating the font.

3.sxc.hu.com

this by far one of my favorite site, why? you get stock images for free all you have to is sign up. Now if you don't know what stock images is its images that don't require a license. This site has beautiful quality images all for free, that's why I love it so much.

4. Istockphoto.com

You can find everything at Istockphoto such as stock images, logos, flash, videos, audio. But they do require you to purchase a license but they are all worth it since you get high quality and very attractive items.

You can even sell your own items at Istockphoto and people can purchase the downloads. While some people make a few dollars doing that others make their living doing that meaning quitting their regular jobs and just uploading things on Istockphoto.

Before you sign up to sell items they do require you to submit some of your best work for a review of your application and you can either be accepted or rejected.

5. Spreadshirt.com

If your like me you probably design shirts. Well at this site you can sell your shirt designs, setup your own shop, or just sell shirts. You don't pay a fee for the shop. While your not the one doing the actually printing they are and you just get an amount of the commission.

When you sell your own design, others who have their own shop can purchase your designs and sell it on their own shop.

You can also purchase shirts their for a variety of prices,styles,designs, and sizes. Their are shirts for males,females,babies, and kids. All your purchases will be shipped to you.

use gradients in adobe illustrator

Today I will show you how to use gradients

draw any shape you want me I drew a rain drop and place a heart into it(whenever I make my next blog I will show you how to make it)

select the shape and have both the swatches and gradient panel open. If you dont know how to drag on of them out and your screen should look like this

now while selecting the object click on the circle gradient or linear on the swatches panel(the panel with all the colors to choose from) it should give your swatch a gradient fill.

now when you find a color you want on the swatches panel grab it and drag it(dont click or it will change the gradients color) just grab it and hold down the mouse button while dragging(the hand should show up showing that its being dragged) and place it on any arrow on the gradient arrows(gradient slider). Its best to go from lightest to darkest.

now find another color you want on the swatches panel and do they same but just drag it over the other arrow(gradient slider). You should have a 2 color gradient fill. You can adjust the gradient sliders to how much of a color you want to show up. You can even have more then 2 colors just by click on where ever you want around the gradient arrows like this below.

In this blog I will show you my way of drawing a shopping bag and a sales tag in adobe illustrator

STEP 1 draw the square and trapezoid

start of with a square and give it what ever color gradient you want if you dont know how to fill the color as a gradient look at my gradient blog. then create a trapezoid but make the trapezoid color darker then the color of the square. Then place the trapezoid on top of the square and group them. To make the trapezoid you can either draw it manually or just draw a rectangle then use the direct selection tool(the gray arrow next to the black one) and select the left side of the rectangle and drag it to push it out then do the same for the right side. Your trapezoid and square grouped together should look like this.

STEP 2 draw the handles

easy just use the brush tool to draw it like this

STEP 3 to draw the sales tag

first draw a triangle then make it whatever color you want. Now select the triangle then go to effect,stylize,round corners. play with the numbers till you find the one you like, me I used 15pt. Then draw a small white circle and place it on top of the triangle. Then draw a long rectangle and place it below the triangle and group it.

Then select the sales tag(both the triangle and the rectangle)and give it a 3d effect by click on the appearance on the right panel and click on it, then click on the graphics, then click on the folder that looks like 2 folders at the bottom left and select image affects, then click on the red image effect, it may change the color of the sales tag but you can change it back.

Then click on the Type tool and hold it then a sub-menu should come out then click on the type vertical. Type the word sales and place it on the rectangle. then use the brush tool to draw a curvy line and place it on the white circle. Now you have a sales tag so now place the sales tag on the square. You can rotate the sales tag if you want. It should look like this.

In this Blog I will teach you how to draw a dog in adobe illustrator.

STEP 1 draw a circle using the ellipse tool

I used a 15 point round and a 1pt stroke. The fill I used is 8B5E3C you can use whatever you want. The circle should look something like this

STEP 2 Draw a curved line to represent the mouth

I used a 15 point round and the paintbrush tool for it.
It should come out like this

STEP 3 draw a nose and tongue

draw a nose with the paintbrush tool and give it a black fill then draw a tongue using the paintbrush tool and give it a pink fill(remember 15point round and 1 point stroke) the tongue fill used is EE9CB0 and put a line through the tongue your dog should look like this now

STEP 4 Draw the ears and eye's

for the eyes start out with a circle and place a smaller circle in it and fill the smaller circle black. Then add a smaller circle on the right edge of the black circle and give it a white fill. Now copy and pace those eyes you just made and make another one and put them together close by to make 2 eyes .If its confusing(like it was for me) here's a photo to show you how it should look like.

STEP 5 draw the ears using the paintbrush tool.

before drawing the ears copy and paste the tongue WITHOUT THE LINE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT place the copy where you will put the ears to the right on top of the head near the right eyes and you will use the paintbrush to draw the ears and give it a brown fill just like the head of the dog and place it above the copied tongue. copy the brown filled ear and paste and put the copy in the opposite direction near the left eye ball. Here's how it should look like.

STEP 6 draw the body and a few black dots in both the right and left of the nose

to draw the body use a 15 point round using the paintbrush tool and draw it below the head and send it to the back so the head could be in front of it then to draw those little dots just draw a little circle with the ellipse tool and give it a black fill and then just copy and paste it twice and now you should have 3 dots now just group them copy and paste them and group the copies now position 1 group on the left and another on the right. it should look like this

STEP 7 draw the feet of the dog

use the brush to draw it and give it a brown fill same color as the head then copy and paste the feet and make the copy point to the other direction to do that just go to Object>transform>reflect now place the feet below the body now add 2 line curves on each foot to represent the toes then group each foot and the lines and copy and paste the the feet to make another feet and place them by the first feet. then use the ellipse tool to draw a circle and make the circle have a brown fill, the circle should represent the hand of the dog. Copy and paste the circle and now you should have 2 circles so place 1 on each side of the dogs body by the right and left foot of the dog. Here's how it should look like

STEP 8 now to add a tail and the drool

use the brush to draw the tail and give it a brown fill and place it at the right end of the body and send it to the back by right click and arrange and then send to back. Now to draw the drool you can do this however you want for myself I used the brush tool to draw it and gave it a gradient fill of light blue to dark blue. You can make the drool however you want. So your dog should look the this
