Let me start with a big THANK YOU. My Paris Chic collection has been graciously received and I'm already running out of many styles and sizes! And I have YOU to thank for it. I have always believed that creativity and well-being are at the center of everything. And with this belief, ANYI LU has grown to be an incredible global community of amazing and talented artisans, globetrotters and fashion trendsetters. Anyi Lu, the designer, and a recent cancer survivor is pleased to introduce Paris Chic, her latest collection inspired by her travels and the specific requirements of the jet-setting woman who needs to be effortlessly chic, comfortable, and pack smart and light.

The inspiration for this collection is La Parisienne. Parisian women are known for what seems to be an effortless and understated beauty. Paris Chic, spring, and summer to early fall line is set to be launched March 4. The designer will enfold a few pieces at the time to coincide with destinations in mind. It is a full collection of shoes with heels of various heights, exclusive cardigans in two colors from Elisa Cavaletti, and two cashmere scarves from the house of Saldarini, all designed exclusively by and for Anyi Lu.

March and April. The ANYI LU woman heads to Paris. Paris in the springtime is the most romantic destination, but it gets chilly and is often drizzly. She packs her scarf and cardigan and walks in her Amélie flats or Coco Noir. Perfect pieces when strolling by the Seine, attending a vernissage, or sitting at a Café people watching.
May and June. Next destination, Alicante, Spain, and for this coastal town, she throws in her luggage her pair ANYI LU sandals. Alicante, a beach town with a Mediterranean climate, is about casual chic. Whether she is strolling along the Explanada de España or the Marina of Alicante, the Anyi Lu sandals made in Alicante are the perfect day and evening shoe wear for a destination where sand gets in between her toes.
July and August. She hears the Call of the West and sets her sight toward San Francisco. She knows that the key to San Francisco is dressing in layers, and nothing will suit her better than her snakeskin bag in black or beige, large enough to carry her cashmere shawl and her cardigan. San Francisco, in the summertime, is a strange beast. Known for its microclimates, in less than an hour, she may go from bundling up at Ocean Beach to sweating while climbing the Potrero Hill. She will need the Parisian Chic bag, large enough to carry her cardigan and scarf.
September and October. Los Angeles is always the place to be when seeking entertainment and beautiful beaches. Los Angeles has perfected casual dressing and body-conscious clothing. Stylish women live in their brand name yoga pants, and when visiting LA, the ANYI LU woman is sure to pack her dancer sneakers in pink or black and her Alicante sandals!
Unlike the earlier years, when the ANYI LU shoes were made available at various retailers, the Paris Chic collection will only be available at anyilu.com. Anyi Lu said about her decision not to have decided to remain an exclusive brand with limited editions and grow slowly.” She adds, “One of the many things that I’ve learned from beating cancer is that life is best enjoyed when you savor the small things. So with this launch, I’m starting small and will let my company grow at a pace that I’m comfortable with instead of being pulled in multiple directions at once.”

They say parting is such sweet sorrow and I have never before understood those words until now. It is with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye to all of my fans and customers for now. The Kentucky Derby is known for its horses, sure. But the fashion, especially the hats, are just as entertaining as the races, or more so in our opinion. Putting together your Derby outfit can be a little intimidating (dress or hat, which comes first?). But it can also be a lot of fun. We've styled four very different Derby looks to inspire you featuring different sandals from our Spring Collection. If you've ever been to the Derby, then you know how much time you spend standing or walking around. No matter what you wear on your head, be sure you have something that you can stand in for five to eight hours on your feet.
1–Classic & FeminineThe Kentucky Derby is the longest running sporting event in the United States, dating back to 1875, so you can't go wrong with very classic, southern style. Don't worry about having to perfectly match your hat and outfit. Here the black and white small print, and the black, tan, and tan colorblocking of the Bianka support the showpiece which is the hat. The dress is light and feminine and so is the hat, so they work together even if they're different color schemes. Imagine a black and white hat in its place or a red dress...not as interesting.

Big, poofy hats not your style? There are plenty of great, more modern choices that still fit right in at the Derby. We fell in love with this hat from designer Eugenia Kim with its classic boater hat shape and typography elements. This hat had a very light, youthful feel so we paired it with an on-trend off-the-shoulder-dress and the platinum shimmer Linda sandals.

It may be tempting to find a single color dress and shoes to go with your statement hat, but it's possible to balance your outfit with various patterns and colors. With this look, we've combined a bold color and two bold patterns by pulling the pink color for the hat from the flowers on the dress and keeping the patterns very different but complementary–floral and stripes. The flower on the hat also ties things together as does the navy and ivory of the Maria sandal.

If you're in the infield as opposed to the stands, you can still dress the part–just go for a more casual version. ]]>Many of us have that one “go-to” dress we wear to every wedding (ourselves included), so we thought it was time to shake things up a bit. We’ve found some easy to wear dresses we love that work for different ceremony styles and paired them with the Gigi, one of our most iconic styles. We picked the Gigi because of its versatility, it can go traditional or very modern based on what its paired with, and its wearability, it’s comfortable enough to let you dance all night.
Even though a church wedding can be conservative, doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with your look. This dress has covered shoulders and arms with a closed toe shoe which is requested for some religious ceremonies, but it is still playful with bold embroidery and bright pops of color. The Champagne Linen Gigi offsets the sheen of the dress beautifully while grounding the brilliant blue and gold with a neutral tone.

A city hall wedding calls for something a bit more casual but also appropriate to the occasion. This dress had a classic silhouette that works for a city office building, while the botanical pattern makes it feel festive. The dark blue patent Gigi picks up the flashes of cobalt in the dress.

When thinking of the modern bride, you might picture dresses with clean lines and avant garde accessories. But even the most fashion forward of women can be romantic at heart, especially when it comes to their wedding day. Today we've styled four hopelessly romantic yet very current bridal looks featuring our lace and crochet collection for you to swoon over.
A wedding dress should be something special and this gown with its gold tiered beadwork over dusty rose tulle is extraordinary. It certainly has a vintage vibe and reminded us of something that might have been worn on the Titanic, but the departure from the traditional stark white and the straighter skirt make it very unique and modern. We paired it with the Champagne Lace Tessa which also draws from the same time period and matches the soft color palette.

2-The Gemma: Floating Chiffon in Floral LavendarOn your wedding day, you'll want to be confident, comfortable and be able to dance all night. This ultralight chiffon dress and the Gemma heel we paired it with are not only as flirty and feminine as can be, yet they move with you so you can feel free and unencumbered. The heart-shaped bodice and floating fabric make this one romance novel worthy, but the departure from white and the pattern in particular make this one for today's bride. As for the shoes, the lace harkens back to older times, but the triangular mirrored heel is all 2016.

What's old often becomes new again and this holds true for crochet. A common textile of the past, crochet is now being seen on runways here and abroad. This look takes a head to toe approach that has a long sleeved classic shape with little peeks of skin showing through. The crochet Gemma picks up the crochet inlets of the sleeves and skirt and adds a bit of sparkle with the mirrored triangular heel.

The traditional wedding dress has a full skirt and a train which is a must for many brides (when else can you get away with a silhouette like that) but this look takes the tradition into modern territory with hints of vibrant color in the bodice and a translucent high neckline. ]]>Bridesmaid style has come a long way in the past few years. Gone are the days of shiny satin strapless dresses and shoes dyed to match. Today's brides are getting more creative with their choices, and thankfully more fashion forward. Here's three tips to keeping your bridal party happy.
1. Pick shoes they can wear in all night
One of us here at ANYI LU was bridesmaid at nine months pregnant, and the bride insisted she wear stiletto heels to match the bridal party. Now, most don't go to those extremes, but if you're a bride be sure to remember a wedding lasts many hours and involves a lot of standing during the ceremony and dancing afterward. You want your ladies to remember having a good time, not remember limping in pain or wearing flip flops during the reception. We chose to feature the Gemma in black lace for this look because its low mirrored triangular heel is stunning while being very stable and comfortable. Plus, black lace is a twist on the white lace used for so many wedding dresses.
2. Try mismatching dresses
Bridesmaids come in all shapes and sizes, so the best way to keep everyone happy is to have a mismatched set of dresses. This can get complicated, so be sure to only vary a couple features. For example, different necklines and colors (within in a color-palette) but the same fabric or different necklines and fabrics (lace, floral pattern, chiffon) but the same color. And don't let them go it alone! Give them only a couple choices at most to keep the looks cohesive.
3. Pick dresses that aren't "bridesmaid dresses"
Ever had to buy a sheath of cheap material and a zipper that was hundreds of dollars just because it was a "bridesmaid dress?" Those who have gotten married know if something has the word "wedding" or "bridal" attached, the price goes up 300%. Plus, bridesmaid dresses are often the same tired designs everyone has seen over and over again. If you're looking for something more unique, just look for dresses you like at your local department store or online.
It's been almost a year since the Gigi was featured in O Magazine's 15th anniversary addition, and the shoe seems to have only gained momentum since then. It has become one of our all-time top sellers and is requested by celebrity stylists more than any other shoe we've ever offered. It also now comes in thirteen color ways and we continue to introduce more. Given its visibility, the Gigi has become an icon for us.

It's easy to get addicted to stripes–they add dimension to solid pieces, a bit of preppy chic to dress up casual ensembles, and can pull together just about any look. We love stripes and we love them even more contrasted by the lush and organic backdrop of Hawaii. The following are some inspiration images from Maui for both your wardrobe and possibly your next vacation destination!
1-The Dora: New Nautical and Basic Black and White
It's fun to take a classic look and put your own spin on it. This look was inspired by the bell bottoms and stripes of the navy, but made more feminine with wide leg palazzo pants and a boat neck top. The blue denim elastic band of the Dora tied in perfectly to the indigo denim of the jeans and the coral patent gave the pop of color this look needed.
Black and white on its own can make you look like you're waiting tables, but add some navy stripes and a colorful shoe and basic b+w becomes effortlessly chic. Some shy away from bold colors for footwear because they're afraid they're not versatile, but this look shows how a bright shoe can give life to your most simple pieces.

2-The Siena: Comfortable Chic and Feminine Prep
A navy stripe pattern can elevate what would normally be a very casual beach look into something that can be worn to dinner–like with this jersey maxi skirt and tank top. The Siena literally elevates giving you a few extra inches of height but with a fairly level footbed, so you don't feel the any typical high heel pain.
The preppy styles of the eighties were fun, but could be very masculine so we've traded the polo shirt collar for an open back tee. This particular shoe is the perfect choice for short shorts like these because the height and neutral color creates the illusion of a longer leg.

3-The Alyssa: Balanced Accessories and Beach Ready
Nothing is more basic than black pants and a tank top, but this is where accessories come in. For this look, we livened things up with a Panama hat with a black band to tie into the black of the pants, a chevron statement necklace to break up the stripes of the tank, a bright yellow clutch to add a pop of color, and blue shoes with white contrast to mimic the top. A laceless sneaker like the Alyssa keeps a look like this casual without being too casual.
When in Maui, you're never far from the ocean, so it's not a bad idea to be ready for an impromptu beach detour at all times. The stripes in this coverup give it more of a put together vibe so is wearable away from the plage and a sneaker like the Alyssa instead of flip flops also makes the look more street appropriate.

4-The Bianka: Stripes of Ruffles and Basic Black and White #2
When going to a Luau, it's fun to dress the part. Here we've styled a dress striped with ruffles to mimic the color and texture of a lei. The black, white, and neutral color blocking of the Bianka contrasts well with the bold color and texture of the dress.
Like with the Dora above, here we've created a black and white look but used the color blocking of the shoes, pop of color from the bag, and the voluminous shape and thin stripe pattern of the shirt to add interest. When going out in Hawaii, heels with shorts rather than a dress is also a bit unexpected and fun.

Black may not be the first color you think of when going into Spring, but we've paired these three very different black styles with some season transitional looks to show how this most basic of colors is ideal for the current "in-between" season. Look 1: Spring separates in heavier fabric
Even though the weather may be getting warmer in parts of the country, especially the west coast, but it's still February and breaking out the white linen seems a bit premature. This simple look shows how you can wear short sleeves and a short skirt, but with heavier fabrics like this suede wrap miniskirt, it still feels appropriate for the time of year. We paired this look with the glossy black Dora flat because the pointed toe and strap position create an elongating effect that is very flattering with a skirt. Look 2: Go casual
If you can't wait to wear your delicate spring dress shoes, but it's not yet sundress weather, try pairing them with jeans for a dressed up/dressed down look. The ultra-feminine Gemma in black lace is the perfect contrast to a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans. Look 3: Dress with boots
If you're not ready to put away your favorite pair of black combat boots, then try them with a spring shirt dress. We loved the way the masculine energy of the Skyler boot was offset when paired with a more feminine top, while still echoing the combat nature of the boots. It happens every year–that first really warm spring day finally arrives. You go into your closet to put on a pair of shorts. Then you look down to see your legs that have been happily hiding behind pants for months are dry and pale. But not to fear, all it takes is a little pampering to get shorts-ready for the season.
We chose the Siena for this ensemble because it is such a forgiving silhouette. The extra height creates a leg-lengthening illusion, but the foot itself is only slightly angled, so it feels like a flat. The entire footbed is cushioned as well making this one of the most comfortable sandals we've ever debuted. Also, the sand color in particular has the effect of making your legs look tanner, don't ask us why.
Some like to get their legs waxed once the warm weather hits, but if you prefer to shave, be sure to give your legs a thorough moisturizing afterwards as shaving plus weeks in the winter air can make skin very dry. We like this one from Malin + Goetz.
If your legs look more like that of a ghost's than your own, going to a spray-tanning salon or using some self-tanning cream can send Casper on his way. There are a few steps before just slathering it on. The first is to exfoliate your legs thoroughly to get an even application. Next be sure not to let the cream touch your hands so you don't end up with orange palms. We live the James Read tanning mitt because it easily solves this issue.
For a finishing touch, we like this dry oil to give your legs a little sheen to accentuate curves and muscle definition.
Of course, don't forget your feet and schedule a pedicure. We like this shade because it's more fun than a plain neutral but isn't too dark for spring, works on most skin tones, and gives a little pop of spring color.
THE AGNES IN BLACK CALF We're thrilled many of our favorite bloggers have shown an interest in wearing the Agnes to NYFW, so we thought we'd theme our latest ANYI'S PICKS around what to wear to the biggest fashion event of the year.
If you're going to Fashion Week, you likely work in fashion or have a serious interest in the business, so the act of just getting dressed for it shouldn't be that complicated. But the amount of pressure to look the part can make even the most seasoned fashionista a little apprehensive.
The styling we've put together is classic but with some edge. It is for the woman who is there to see the shows over being seen. She is running from one to the next and is there for work, not leisure, though will definitely have plenty of fun.
People come from all over the world to be in the Big Apple for NYFW, but unless they've actually spent time in New York in February they may not realize just how bitter cold the winter wind tunneling through the skyscrapers can be. So no matter what you decide to wear, dress warmly. We chose a wool shawl collar coat from Harris Wharf London that takes a modern approach to traditional tailoring with clean-lined cuts and raw edges.
The fun part of a fairly conservative Fashion Week look is picking out a statement piece, in this case a blue metallic leather pouch. The blacks and neutrals provide the perfect backdrop for such a color and texture contrast. And don't forget work accessories like finding a well-designed notebook.
Lastly, getting from one end of the city to the other to catch back to back shows can be a challenge. Wearing a timepiece will help get you there on time, and be more stylish than looking at your phone. And the distances will make you rethink your footwear. The Agnes will support you in a full sprint if necessary while hitting the perfect note of fashion and function.
You know when you’re traveling, on a weekend in Rome for example, and you can only fit two pairs of shoes in your suitcase? Those shoes really have to work for you...they have to be incredibly comfortable because you're on your feet ALL day. They need to move with you, translate from day to night, and work equally well with your outfits both dressed up and down. And of course be chic, so that you feel great every time you put them on (and will turn the heads of the notoriously fashionable Italians.) They need to be shoes that will take you through the long afternoons exploring the endless bougainvillea-lined cobblestone alleyways of Trastevere, to the ancient steps of the Colosseum, to a romantic candlelit dinner on Piazza Navona.
We had this in mind when creating Spring/Summer ’16: what are the purely essential styles that you'd pack–the ones that make you feel fantastic and catch the eye of everyone in the room. Then we asked ourselves how can we make them even more comfortable and versatile using the construction and materials, by adding extra padding, lightweight Micro outsoles, soft Italian leathers and tricolor mixed materials and bright pops of color anchored by neutrals.
This season, we’ve added two new members to our elastic line. The Bianka and Dora join the Bella and Cristina. The Bianka is a fun and flirty cork heel that is just as wearable at a seaside cafe or a black tie event. It shows a lot of skin to add to its sex appeal, but the straps are placed strategically to firmly and comfortably hold you in place. The Dora is a wear-with-almost-anything pointed toe flat with an elastic strap that adds a bit of design interest as well as helping keep the foot secure. Both feature our new palette of coral and indigo denim to add a much awaited pop of spring color to your staple looks.
Another pair of new styles for spring are the more casual Alyssa and Siena. Alyssa comes off the heels of our first fashion sneaker the Lanna, only this time we took away the laces to make them even easier to take on and off. The Siena, like her sister-style Sara, is one of the most comfortable and flattering shoes you will ever try on. It adds a lot of height that give the illusion of a longer leg, but feels like a flat. And not just any flat–a flat that cushions every step.
The most feminine addition this season is the Gemma, a lace or crochet pump with a mirrored triangular heel. It is modeled after the Gigi and Georgia, but with an even more gamine persona. This shoe is surprisingly one of the most versatile shoes in the collection, being equally suited to a summer dress or boyfriend jeans and a white T-shirt with statement necklace. It comes in black or ivory lace. We envision this shoe will see many a spring and summer wedding.

THE GEMMA IN BLACK LACE New Year's Eve is the one night of the year when it seems everyone across the globe is celebrating at once. But that doesn't mean everyone celebrates the same way. No matter what kind of party you're going to ring in 2016, we've put together some ensembles to help inspire your look and paired them with some of our favorites from the new Resort Collection.
This first look is all about fun. Black lace, feathers, metallic accents and whimsical details will bring out the party girl in anyone even before the champagne starts flowing. The Gemma in black lace is the perfect New Years Eve shoe as it can be worn all night long.
Some of the best New Year's parties are small intimate gatherings at the homes of friends. You can leave the ballgown at home, but that doesn't mean you can get dolled up in something festive. This look combines just the right amount of shimmer with a holiday color palette. The Dora in stone metallic pitone hits the perfect note for this type of occasion. The elastic creates an even more secure fit than just a basic flat, so you'll stay balanced no matter how strong the host makes the cocktails!
If you'll be at a formal gala when the ball drops, there's no need to start 2016 in stiff, uncomfortable ball gown attire. This look as all about beauty and movement with a draped stretch-jersey gown and the Bella in pewter stretch. The dual slits in the skirt give a hint of sexiness while showing off the shoes, and dark silver and crystal accessories off-set the pop of green.
THE ALYSSA IN BLUE LAZER CALF & THE BROCADE PRINT SCARF IN BLACK Since our factories are in Italy, we have to do a lot of flying overseas. On our travels we've learned a few tricks of the trade that can make all the difference between a luxurious flying experience and a nightmarish one.
The first is to travel light and unencumbered. If you can get away with just bringing a weekender bag, avoiding checking a bag can potentially save hours of time. Airports are not the place to try out your new stiletto heels. We've featured the Alyssa here because it's incredibly comfortable for running through terminals, slips on and off easily through check-in, and is ultra-light weight if packed.
The second thing to prepare for is fluctuating temperatures. Airplanes are notorious for having issues with heating and cooling control so wear layers. We've included the Brocade Print scarf with faux chinchilla here because it is oversized and incredibly cozy to act as a blanket for the journey and an extra warm scarf once you get to your final destination.
Lastly, how well you come prepared to battle the recycled air of the cabin will make or break a long flight. The air in the cabin has extremely low humidity, which can take a huge toll on skin and lips. Do not use a facial mist as this can cause further drying. Drink lots of water, use lip balm and apply a rich moisturizer with SPF protection. It may seem odd to worry about SPF indoors, but the UV rays when you're at 30,000 feet are stronger than on the ground even through an airplane window.
You could call 2015 the year of the dress as this past season has seen some of the most dynamic and (thankfully wearable) trends we've seen in a long time. Now that the holiday season is upon us, rather than go for the same old sequin stand-by, why not try out one of these new trends to ring in the new year? You can't go down the street in any city without seeing a woman in a cape these days, and we're excited this romantic accessory seems here to stay. A great way to make a statement at your holiday party is to wear a dress that incorporates a cape, the simpler the style the better. Here we paired the look with a statement necklace and the Camille. The shine of the gold and the patent leather offsets the bold red chiffon.
An ultra-modern and incredibly comfortable holiday party option is to try the shirt dress trend. For this look, we paired a silk shirt dress with a long fringe necklace (fringe being another huge trend) and the Angel pump. The midi length dress may be one of the most welcome new trends of this year. We love how it can be worn by almost anyone and harkens back to a time when women got dressed up to go to the grocery store. For a holiday party, this length is perfect if the event doesn't call for a gown but not your beaded mini skirt either. We love how this look is both modern and classic all at once. Here we paired a midi dress that plays with demure and sexy elements with the Camille, which does the same. 
If you've got great legs and want to show them off, but don't want to wear something tight, try the flared mini trend. It's an incredibly flattering and fun style. We chose a version with black lace over a neutral base, a great twist on the little black dress, and paired the flirty Camille to add to the long leg effect.

We're loving the belted scarf–one of the most popular trends of the season–and with the launch of our new scarves as the debut products of our accessory line ANYI LU Lifestyle, we thought we’d show you how to wear this effortless look.
When choosing a belt, pick one with a medium to thin width, thicker belts will overwhelm this style, and cinch at the natural waist, not too low or too high. Don’t be afraid of layers. And make sure the scarf is not much longer than the hemline of your coat shirt or dress.

Equally suited to dresses or denim, the Adrian is an incredibly versatile biker boot and is so lightweight you need to hold it in your hands or try it on to believe it. The motorcycle boot style adds edge to your looks while the quilted detailing gives an air of luxury to make even the simplest outfit, like jeans and a plain cashmere sweater, look polished. As the winter season approaches and temperatures drop, try pairing with a leggings and a belted scarf or a cape as seen here for a dramatic yet effortless look.
We've had another successful shoot for the upcoming Resort '15 and Spring '16 seasons. Once again shooting at the gorgeous bayside studio of our photographer Holly Stewart, we had a lovely though busy day. Luba Vitti looked stunning everything from sky high heels to comfy slip-on sneakers. Dawn Sutti created a fresh spring look that we all wanted to copy afterwards. You don't have to be a punk rocker, a goth, or, well, a biker to wear biker boots anymore. They've become a wardrobe staple and one of the easiest to wear boot styles. They go with just about everything, are extremely comfortable, and simply pull on without laces or zippers. The fuller volume and medium height creates a very flattering silhouette and the style conveys an effortless, confident look with a bit of edge.
Look 1: Jeans
A few years ago when bootcut jeans were still in vogue, biker boots were overlooked. But when skinny jeans came into style, they became mainstream. This look layers a faux fur vest over a leather jacket to combine hard and soft elements plus grey skinny jeans that elongate the leg. Look 2: Dress

This look plays off contrasts with a very classic, flirty dress and tough elements like the boots and angular statement jewelry. Look 3: Leggings

Most everyone knows the best shoes are made in Italy. The highest quality shoes proudly announce it on their soles and boxes (including us). But what’s it all about? Can’t a shoe company just set up shop anywhere?
The main reason we chose Italy to make our new Signature Collection (and every other shoe we make) is the people. Making handcrafted leather shoes is truly an art form and one that has been refined and passed down from one generation of Italian families to the next. The techniques are highly specialized and labor intensive making them difficult to duplicate elsewhere.
While most shoes are made by machine in large factories using glues and synthetic materials, the small percentage from Italy are made using only the finest materials and are crafted by hand. First, the leather is carefully selected for each shoe from world-renowned Italian tanneries. It is then hand cut and stretched on a last (called a forma in Italian) for days, and then sewn together, never glued.
The factories we use are small factories in Tuscany that have been owned by the same families for generations. While we say the Signature pumps have been ten years in the making, they’re actually the culmination of over a hundred years of Italian shoemaking.

The biker boot came onto the scene a few years ago about the time when skinny jeans became popular, and this relatively new silhouette (to the fashion scene) isn't going anywhere–mainly due to the fact that they are ridiculously flattering to the leg due to their volume and point at which they hit the calf. The Callie is a very classic example of this kind of boot and will add a bit of edge to any look, plus is extremely comfortable and easy to slip on. Pair them with a soft feminine dress to contrast with the toughness of the boot or, as seen here, pair with skinny jeans and an oversize jacket to play with volume contrast.
One of first things people notice when the look at the Signature collection is the textured outsole. While this gives the shoes a more modern, trendier style, the outsole is designed this way with a purpose. Two purposes actually.
The first is traction. When you’re four inches up in the air, the last thing you want is to slip and lose your balance. At best you have an awkward moment, and worst you could really hurt yourself. Because traction for the outsole is so important, we created a ridged texture that grips the floor. The XL Extralight material itself is also non-slip.
The second reason is cushioning. Think of one of those egg-crate mattresses. It’s kind of like that. In addition to over an inch of space-age polymer memory material, each tread in the outsole acts as a little spring that absorbs the shock of each step. Because unlike most designers of stiletto heels, we want to you actually be able to walk in them.

There are those days when work and pleasure are one in the same, especially when you can take a long work lunch at a cafe on a beautiful autumn day in the city. We've curated the perfect fall career look that will only add to the enjoyment. Wearing a short boot like the Nicky with a more traditional dress and luxurious cashmere coat is the perfect blend of modern and buttoned up. The contrasting neutrals work perfectly with strong black accents from the boots the sunglasses and jewelry.
We’ve shot photos, created videos, and written long descriptions about all that has gone into the Signature Collection, but no photo can compare to actually trying them on.
When you first pull them out of the box, they look like basic high-end pumps (basic in a good-way as in will go with everything kind of way. But when you first slip them on and stand up, it is a completely unique experience. You expect to feel that familiar crunch of the toes, ache in the arch, and wobble in the heel that comes with heels of this height, but it’s just not there. Instead, it feels a bit like you’re floating above the ground a bit. The toe box should feel snug, but not tight. You should be able to move your toes independently and feel your arch lifted and supported.
Just move your weight onto the ball of your foot and you’ll sink in a bit into multiple layers of polymer memory cushioning. The molecular structure of these polymers allows the footbed to support then bounce back with every step. The outsole is made from XL Extralight, another high tech material that provides further buoyancy and has a spring-like tread as well.
When you walk about the room, put your attention to your balance. Most high heels have the heel positioned too far back, so they don’t actually hold your weight. The heels for our Signature shoes are positioned right at the center of gravity, so you’ll feel secure even four inches off the ground. We believe no matter how beautiful the shoe, if a woman looks like she’s walking on eggshells, that’s not a good thing. The heel should feel like it is lightly gripping without your foot slipping up and down.

Trying to decide which of the Signature shoes to try out? The two shoes are similar in fit, but have some differences in style. They both have the same inch of polymer cushioning, same spring-like outsole, same balanced engineering.
The Angel comes in two colors, gold pitone and soft black nappa leather which is more of a matte black. And the Camille comes in a glossy black patent leather.
The vamp, which is the part of the shoe that covers the toes, comes up a bit higher on the Angel. The Camille has a slightly lower vamp to shoe some toe décolleté and a small Mary Jane strap with button enclosure. The strap has a hidden elastic for a more customized fit.

There's something comforting about that time of year when the sun is warm but there's that crispness to the air that lets you break out the boots and go stomping through the newly fallen leaves.
