I have been travelling about a fair bit over the last week or two. Having returned from Cyprus I was then off to the Channel Islands to photograph and film the Rumblemania Wrestling events in Guernsey and Jersey. Here are some photos from the event at Fort Regent in Jersey.

In case you’ve been wondering at the paucity of postings lately, it has been due to the considerable workflow I am managing at the moment. The new website at UniQ has gone up showing what we do and what we can do. Videos for the site are currently in production so be patient! We work on the in house UniQ Clothing line and handle projects for other companies and individuals too. Anyway enjoy these photos from the Roshi collection and I will start posting the videos as we finalise them.

Puffins for Macmillan Cancer

Eighteen months ago I visited North West Scotland on holiday and stayed on Mull with some friends. At about the same time I became aware of the 2010 project for Macmillan Cancer which was accepting photographic entries for a new book to raise money for Macmillan. The finished book includes some of my outdoor natural world photos which I undertake pretty rarely due to commitments with the camera elsewhere. It would make a great present for someone and can be ordered from BobBooks here.

One night as a paparazzo

OMG! Last week I ended up at the premiere for the new film “Deviation” starring Danny Dyer. I wasn’t attending the premiere but taking photos of those who were. It had been suggested to me that I might like to be there and I thought it may be interesting, but it is a strange feeling photographing people going into a party you’re not invited to.

I stood with the other photographers who obviously knew this job rather better than I did. And they also knew the faces that were walking through the doors to the Odeon. Therein lay the problem- I am not a big celebrity watcher and as it turned out I knew very few of those at the premiere. Very few indeed.

Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan did the rounds and chatted to us a couple of times, and they spent time with the public who had arrived to see them in the cold of a February night.

However it was the paparazzi that caught my eye (last photo). This motley crew of diehards in various states of dress looked like villains from a Guy Ritchie movie. And it was ironic that these real characters were taking pictures of people paid to be characters in another world.

Indian summer part 2

Summer took a while to arrive last year. In fact these photos with the clear blue skies were taken at the beginning of October- the joys of an Indian summer! Today as I look out on to a snow white garden this moment now seems a while ago. Normally I’d be out throwing snowballs at the neighbours but I am inside today catching up with some photo and video editing! So enjoy these pics of Ekene and lets hope for a long hot summer.

Seeking one male model and one female model for this Thursday: We are videoing behind the scenes at UniQ Studios in East London for the new promo vid. Expect to look hot after Jae does the makeup. It will take an hour or two of your time so if you are at a loose end let me know. (It isn’t paid but you’ll look good and you’ll get a video for your model profiles).

Up coming teen actor gets new agency model and actor headshots
