Last day December 20, it was my daughter's 5th birthday, we went in the Christ Gospel Tabernacle Church to pray and give thanks to our Almighty God for all the blessings that we received from Him. After that, my husband decided to treat us for Lunch at Texas Road House Restaurant. It's a country restaurant obviously from Texas. I've noticed most of the stuff are old and made of wood like walls, chairs and tables with photos of famous country singers. It looks inviting though. Also, the foods are fantastic and yummy. Want some?

Shoes For Your Kids

Shopping is one of my favorite past time. I always went to the Mall to shop for my kids stuff. My daughter Riona is five years old now. She out grown all her clothes and shoes. All of them are not fit anymore. I can tell she's getting really big and tall. There come a times that she almost run out of clothes. Then I need to shop over and over again. Actually, she has boxes of small clothes stock in her closet that I need to get rid of. She also have a plenty of shoes that are small now. Some of it was worn when she was two years old. Shopping for my daughter’s shoes is pain in my butt. I am sorry for my words but believe me I hate buying shoes in the Mall. Every time I picked branded shoes all was made in China. It torn out easily and I need to buy again. I am looking for shoes with good quality but sadly most of them are manufactured from China. Did you know that I also tried online shopping I thought perhaps I could find the one I am looking for. I've purchased toddler shoes for girl at the Amazon, one of the famous shopping website. Guess what? It doesn’t last long. Why? The shoes are made in China. It’s kind of annoying when you are expecting high quality shoes from this trusted website, then all of a sudden you did not get what you want. It's a waste of money! Luckily, I found this kids wellies website. I am glad their products have a good quality. Did you know that I love gravy? Yap, gravy is my favorite sauce for my breakfast, lunch and dinner especially when I have eggs, chicken, pork and beef on my plate. Every morning, I cooked eggs and bacon. Then, my hubby baked some corn bread. Sometimes he prepared a typical toasted bread. It tastes good though when I have gravy on top of my eggs. Then put it inside the oven for about one and a half hours. It turned out pretty good because the chicken is tender and yummy. I usually served the chicken with some stuffing beside it then add gravy all over. It looks inviting and delicious. My family liked it and we all have a good appetite when there's gravy in our table. You know what, I always make sure that I have stock of gravy in our pantry. I don't like to run out of it. So when I visits the grocery store, I have coupons of gravy with me to avail discount. Did you know that I save some dollars? Smart Mom, isn't it? Anyway, I am eager to learn and know the recipe of making gravy so I can try it. I browsed online and I found this informative gravy tips video. I thought it's difficult but it looks easy to me. I will make sure that I have the complete ingredients and I must follow the instructions carefully. Home Made Cake For Our Birthdays

My daughter and I celebrated our Birthdays together last December 17. It was my birthday and her is today. I asked my hubby to bake a cake for us so we can have a simple family celebration. As you can see, we have a fabulous home made chocolate cake baked by my industrious and sweet hubby. I was assigned to decorate the top. It was my first time, I don't know when to start and what style to put on but in the end I figured it out and it's kind of fun. I really enjoy it though. I think I did a pretty good job on this eventhough it's not that perfect. Maybe I need to practice more and learn some other style so I can enhance my knowledge in decorating cake. You know what, baking cake is very easy job though you must have your own oven in your kitchen and make sure that you also have the complete ingredients and materials in the table. It's a win-win job. I am telling you, you're going to like it. Just be ready and patient to tolerate the pain in your arms because thats the worst part of it. My arms are shaking and tired of squeezing the icing but I am glad it turned out pretty good.

Yummy for our bellies. My daughter likes the flowers so I served it on her plate. Believe me, she has a good appetite because she ate it all. She ordered us not to touch the flowers because that part was for her only. Hmm..Who's the boss? I think Dad did a good job!

Goshh..I'm 30 years old now. Time really goes quick. It's unbelievable, I am getting old. Well, goodbye to age 20's welcome to 30's. Seriously, I will make sure my 30's moment in this earth will be more exciting, many adventure and more fun experience. I will enjoy my life to the fullest. You know what, when I was in my age 20's, I set goals in my life status. I told myself that when I reach the age of 30, I should accomplish this and that. Guess what, I achieved it. Actually, I never thought it would be possible until then I realized it really happened. I reached all my goals and I am very lucky. It was amazing! Unexpectedly, God blessed me with so many beautiful things and happiness in my life. Now, it's time to set another goals again and make it happen by the age of 40. Wish me luck!

Here's my beautiful 5 years old girl. She is very smart, funny and adorable. I decided to celebrate our birthdays together so we can prepare for my son's baptism on January. We need to be thrifty so we can have a perfect budget for Christmas day and baptism. Anyway, I am proud of her self development. She learned a lot from school. She is very competitive little girl. Good job baby doll!

My Daughter Met Mr. & Mrs. Clause

Checked this out folks, My daughter met Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church. The Church had a morning breakfast to all Catholic member in our district before and after the mass. The purpose of this morning gathering is to meet other people living in our neighborhood. Anyway, we always attended the early Catholic Mass around 10 O' Clock. My daughter lined up with other children to hug, kiss, and talk to Santa. She also brought her drawing of Barbie Masketeer in a yellow paper and hand it over to Santa. She showed it to let him know the kind of gift she want to receive this Christmas. Isn't that funny?

Raiden Is Two Months Old

We had a simple family celebration last December 11. My son is two months old. We have cake and ice cream on our table. We sang a Happy Birthday song to him. My daughter did the honor of blowing the candle, thats her favorite part of all. I am very happy to see him growing fast. His a good looking baby. I'm so proud of him. But, my little boy is sick at that time. He got colds from this freezing weather. He got runny nose and cough so his kind of cranky and until now his not yet feeling well. My hubby called the Pediatric office to report his condition. According to the nurse, there's no medicine available for my baby's age. They usually never prescribe any medicine for young babies because their body still fragile. She asked us to buy bulb syringe for his runny nose and use infant drops to help his breathing problem that can be purchase over the counter. Then we did, thats the one were using right now. Aside from that, I did my own researched on the internet about how to take care of a sick baby. I know I have my daughter so I should be more knowledgable about it but, as parent, I need to learn more and refresh those health information. To be honest, I forgot some of the pointers, the fact that my daughter and son have 5 years age gap. I need to recall all the details again. Anyway, good thing I did it because I remember now that I should use Humidifier or vaporizer everytime my baby is sick. In that way, my son can able to breath well. We purchased humidifier at BabyRUs store which kind of expensive but I don't care as long as it's useful and helpful. Right now, were observing his condition and hoping soon he will be fine and be back on shape.

The 25 Days of Christmas Holiday Contest

My most favorite Filipino Christmas tradition was attending early Catholic Mass around 4 O' clock in the morning with my family. Then buy some yummy Filipino foods outside the Church for breakfast. My sister and I usually compete on this during our highschool and college days. We should complete the whole Christmas Mass from December 16, I hope I'm not mistaken with the date, up to Christmas Day.Sometimes she won, sometimes me. It's fun though and very memorable. Those memories are wonderful and I really miss it.

Breastfeeding Is The Best

Like what I've promised, I want to share my second birth experience. I completely agree that mother's milk is the best food for my baby. I breastfeed my little one using breast pump. I produced plenty of milk that makes my baby stuffed. He got the colostrum and sucked my milk for about three weeks. I'm pretty much sure his healthy and got all the complete nutrients.

The first one I used to nurse my baby.

Now, I'm selling this. It's Evenflo Manual Breast Pump, pre-owned, gently used, it was cleaned and sterilized. I'm asking for $20.00 negotiable

I'm thankful to the inventor of this Electric Breast Pump because my baby got the colostrum.

Out of curiosity, I researched who's the inventor of the breast Pump. That's genius! So here's the History from Wikipedia.

On June 20, 1854, the United States Patent Office issued Patent No. 11,135 to O.H. Needham for a breast pump.[1] Scientific American (1863) credits L.O. Colbin as the inventor and patent applicant of a breast pump.[2] In 1921-23, engineer Edward Lasker produced a mechanical breast pump that imitated an infant's sucking action and was regarded by physicians as a marked improvement on existing hand-operated breast pumps, which failed to remove all the milk from the breast.[3] The U.S. Patent Office issued Patent No. 1,644,257 for Lasker's breast pump.[4]In 1956 Einar Egnell published his groundbreaking work, "Viewpoints on what happens mechanically in the female breast during various methods of milk collection[5]" This article provided insight to the technical aspects of milk extraction from the breast. The Egnell SMB breastpump designed through this research is quite robust and many pumps are still in operation today over 50 years after publication.

Hi everyone, I’m back! I miss you all. I miss blogging. Anyway, I gave birth last October 11 to my 7.5 lbs healthy baby boy around 5:52am. It was a repeat C-section. Right now my body still weak. The pain from the incision still kicking though my external stomach healed fast while my internal still sore. This is another life experience to me and having a wonderful son is overwhelming. I’ve prayed for this and I got it. I’m blessed again to have another child. It’s amazing how God creates babies. It’s a miracle. God creations are miracle. So here's some photos to share.
