We have 627 total members and about 1 in 6 of them have a premium account. This is quite a large percentage of our total members. A lot of people sign up for the premium membership because they know that there is a free two-week trial that comes with it. Then, once the two weeks are up, they are hooked. Once you have access to such an astonishing amount of information it is hard to go back to the way things were. Be 1 of 6, sign up for a premium membership and see what you are missing. If you don't like it you have 2 weeks to cancel your account and you won't be charged anything.

600 Members & New Courses

This has been a good week for Apollos. We now have 600 members, which is up from only 400 in November (we are gaining about 50 new members a month). We also have 8 new courses in our Philosophy of Religion and Science & Religion course sections. As a side note we also have a new graphic for our homepage.

Apollos is Blocked in China

I just found out that Apollos.ws is blocked in China. I can't say that I was really surprised, but it does sadden me. When I think about the ability of Apollos to change the intellectual milieu of a group I wish that the population of China would have access to our service. Visit www.greatwallofchina.org to see if your site is blocked. What are your thoughts on this?
