In addition to many other use cases (see Apples recent series of commercials), there are an increasing number of couples taking advantage of FaceTime to help them stay in touch - and stay close - if not able to be together. From business trips with overnight stays in long distance relationships, FaceTime offers many advantages compared to four phones and computers normal iPhone when it comes to intimate moments.

First, experts say that 80% of communication is actually transmitted through body language and expression. All this is lost on the text or a spoken conversation. Text version allows the choice of words. Voice allows only for the pitch. With FaceTime and its wonderful video quality, you can actually see the changes in expression, a twinkle in her eye, a blush on the cheeks, thin smile, a sour look.

China Unicom launching iPhone 4 (with Wi-Fi!), iPad

China Unicom seems iPhone 4 will be made next month, and start with Wi-Fi. Apparently the IPAD is coming too, but not at the same time - or not at the specified time.

International carriers are finally starting to release their iPhone 4 plans and rates, and that more countries now have multiple suppliers and unlocked iPhones, that does not mean things will be more competitive than ever?

iOS 4 features: Sync multiple IMAP accounts with Notes

With iOS-4, the integrated App Notes has the option to synchronize with multiple IMAP accounts, including Gmail and MobileMe. When you set up MobileMe or Gmail (not about Google Sync / ActiveSync / Exchange, but the Gmail button) there is a toggle switch to activate sync with notes on or off.

If you can synchronize notes for multiple accounts, you get a new account button at the top left of the Notes App. Tap it to get a new screen where you can view all the notes, but only the notes on your iPhone or just the notes that are synchronized via IMAP to your e-mail account (s).

Those notes will appear on your desktop and web-based IMAP clients as well as Apple's Mac Mail.app (in Marker Felt, ugh!) And Gmail.com.

It's ridiculously-cool future - a call iPhone 4 video from the middle of the Pacific Ocean Thanks to a boat, a satellite gateway powered Wi-Fi, and FaceTime.

Arthur and Peter, my colleagues are MotionX in offices in Santa Cruz, California and get the video tape by FaceTime between iPhone 4 Pete's in Santa Cruz and my iPhone 4 in the middle of the Pacific Ocean one of the most isolated places worldwide.
