Google Docs Desktop Now On iPad

Just a few weeks ago, Google announced the launch of Google Docs editing on the iPad and Android platforms via a lightweight mobile interface. Google had previewed the feature a few months earlier, and users had been anticipating the release as another reason to turn to the free web-based productivity platform.

But while the mobile version of Google Docs offered a fair number of tools for editing documents, it didn't offer the full complement of options available through the desktop version of Google Docs. That changed yesterday with Google's announcement that the desktop version of Google Docs is now compatible with the iPad, allowing for additional editing capabilities when needed.

The new mobile editor is fast and lightweight, but sometimes you want to make more style edits like changing a font, or center aligning a paragraph. If you're on an iPad, you can do that by visiting the Desktop version of the document editor.

As noted in the announcement, Google views the mobile version of Google Docs as being the primary vehicle for documenting editing given its optimization for working on lower-powered mobile hardware, but the new iPad compatibility for the desktop version gives users the option for "one-off times" requiring more advanced edits.

Four Apple products in TIME's Top 10 Gadgets list

In the list of Time magazine's famous top ten Electronic Products in 2010, and in that list there are four Apple products and iPad was in the first place of the list and then the second place was awarded to the android based Samsung Galaxy S which considered as the rival of the iPhone. The third place went to MacBook Air 11-inch which was launched some time ago.

Two more Apple products filled the sixth and seventh slots on the list. The iPhone 4 got the honor of being in the top 10 list, followed by the second-generation Apple TV. Both devices deserved their spot on the list; the iPhone 4 has overcome the "grip of death" stigma to be a best-seller, while the new Apple TV is a vast improvement over the first generation in both capability and design.

TIME also featured a list of the Top 10 iPhone Apps, with Netflix, Groupon, and iMovie taking the top three spots. I had to agree with many of the apps, although the low iTunes reviews for Hulu Plus make me wonder if they actually tried some of them. Absent from the list was the perennial top-selling Angry Birds, which will probably make the birds angry.

At Last: Google Launchs Latitude for iPhone

Google Latitude has finally arrived on Apple’s iOS, nearly two years since Google first revealed its technology.

Latitude lets you see friends on the map, share your own location (or not), or even hide your location should you feel uncomfortable. Apple blocked the app initially in order to avoid confusion with Maps on the iPhone,” said Google.

Google later shipped a Web-app version instead. Google’s Google Voice app was also blocked at about that time, but that app finally made an official debut on iTunes last month.

The free Google Latitude application, available in 27 languages, works on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, third-generation and fourth-generation iPod Touch, and iPad.

I think it's a very beautiful addition for who does not have a printer that do not support the AirPrint property.

Epic Games has finally launched their anticipated Infinity Blade game for iOS. The fighting game relies heavily on multitouch gestures and works off of Epic’s “unreal engine” technology original showcased in Epic Citadel. The game revolves around the medieval knight tries to access the Dark Citadel Castle and fight against those who stand in front of him to get to the castle with his sword, you can watch the game trailer:

Game graphics are very beautiful, but wonderful, especially on the Retina Display , give a better result than the screen of the iPad, for example. The play controls in the game is also very beautiful. Enjoy the game if you're a fan of the RPG games, as well as the medieval period, which is a key element in the game.

The size of the game is large compared to other games, this game size is about the of the 320 MB, but personally I see it one of the best games in terms of tariffs on iPhone and iPad.
