You can browse though the app - We loved the two modes “list view” or “album cover” - or search for a specific mushroom via the “intelligent search” , a powerful search engine that looks through the entire data base and highlight all results.

We also like that this reference app allows you to add your own findings. You can add your own pictures, add notes with coordinates - Notes that you can type or voice record if you prefer.

Finally, the kids really enjoyed the latest feature, a very cool memory matching pairs game. The game is unique with increasing difficulty. Most time, matching game are static ... But here the board is moving which makes it quite a challenge sometimes. It's more than just a game, it is also a fun way to discover new mushrooms as when you find a match, simply tap on its picture and you will be sent to the description page of that mushroom. To go back to the game, simply tap “back” and you are on for a great learning experience! We liked how AppGrade has managed to integrate some elements of fun within an encyclopedia!
