Ex.: This is a donkey. Its ears are long.

Ex.: Her friend is a pilot.

A mãe delas é muito bonita, em inglês, temos: Their mother is very beautiful.
Estamos falando do pronome pessoal sujeito THEY.

Our school is near the library.

wonderful day (dia maravihoso) ---> wonderful days (dias maravilhosos)
Brazilian boy (menino brasileiro) ---> Brazilian boys (meninos brasileiros)

Exemplos: Swiss, Chinese, Danish, French.
Veja:
My friends are Danish. (Meus amigos são dinamarqueses).
The Americans like hot dog a lot. (Os americanos gostam muito de cachorro-quente).

Lembrete:

Pedro comes from Italy.
Pedro is going to Spain next month.

Assim:
Veja:
Infinitivo: to open (abrir)
Imperativo: Open! (Abra!)
Open the door! (Abra a porta!) Observe:
Open the door, please! (Abra a porta, por favor!) (Pedido)
Logo, logo estarei postando a forma negativa.
See you soon! :)
Definido: THE = o, a, os, as.
Exemplo: The boy (O menino) ---> The boys (Os meninos).
The girl (A menina) ---> The girls (As meninas).

Exemplo: A dog (Um cão); A house (Uma casa).
Exemplo: An ant (Uma formiga); An elephant (Um elefante).

Greetings ( Saudações)

From the very beginning! Temos: THIS e THAT
THIS = Este, esta, isto.
THAT = Aquele, aquela, aquilo.

Veja o exemplo:
This car is yellow.

That car is blue.

For some people, they are just simple happenings, but for a certain part of the population they aren't. Those are the superstitious.

A superstitious person believes that there is a signal or a special meaning in gestures or actions that occur around him or her or even a certain number, which can be his lucky number, has a meaning. So, those people are always trying to do things related to that number. For instance, if they bet on a lottery they combine numbers or choose the exact number they believe that brings good luck. If they see that number in a license plate they believe they have a positive answer to a doubt.

On the other hand, there are people that think they are not superstitious, but indeed they are because they didn't realize they believe in some rituals such as: wearing white clothes or eating lentil during New Year's eve.

So, almost everyone has a little belief in something, has a bit of superstitious.
It is something you love and then everything you do is with pleasure, being this way easy to learn or get it.

Although extrinsic motivation doesn't come from the heart, it also helps people to accomplish something; but those who are moved by it, sometimes can find troubles on difficulties because they have to face and convice themselves they need to learn or do such a thing because theirs jobs are going to be better then, for example. They have to put many efforts on it.

Thus, it could be better for everybody if they could find exactly what they intend to do, so everything would be easy, grateful and life would be happier.
Agora, colocarei-o no passado simples.
Ele apresenta dois significados: ser/estar e duas formas de escrevê-lo em inglês: was e were.

Verb to be - Past Tense
Affirmative form (Forma afirmativa)
I (eu) was (Eu era/estava)
you (tu) were (Tu eras/estavas)
He (ele) was (Ele era/estava)
She (ela) was (Ela era/estava)
It (ele/ela) was (Ele/ela era/estava)
We (nós) were (Nós éramos/estávamos)
You (vós) were (Vós éreis/estáveis)
They (eles/elas) were (Eles/elas eram/estavam)

Temos a "full form" (forma completa) e a "contract form" (forma abreviada). Observe:

Verb to be - Past Tense
Affirmative form (Forma afirmativa)I (eu) was not /(wasn't)
you (tu) were not / (weren't)
He (ele) was not / (wasn't)
She (ela) was not / (wasn't)
It (ele/ela) was not / (wasn't)
We (nós) were not / (weren't)
You (vós) were not / (weren't)They (eles/elas) were not (weren't)
* Wasn't e weren't contract form de was not e were not, respectivamente, e significam: não era, não estava, etc.

Por exemplo: He wasn't here yesterday. (Ele não estava aqui ontem.)
He was not here yesterday. (Ele não estava aqui ontem.)

They weren't my friends. (Elas não eram minhas amigas.)
They were not my friends. (Elas não eram minhas amigas.)

Temos, também a forma interrogativa deste verbo, a qual dá-se pela inversão de was e de were, colocando-se antes do personal pronoun (pronome pessoal). Acompanhe:

Verb to be - Past Tense
Interrogative form (Forma interrogativa)
Was I...?
Were you...?
Was he...?
Was she...?
Was it...?
Were we...?
Were you...?
Were they...?

Por exemplo: He was here yesterday. (Ele estava aqui ontem.) (Forma afirmativa)
Was he here yesterday? (Ele estava aqui ontem?) (Forma interrogativa)

They were my friends. (Elas eram minhas amigas.) (Forma afirmativa)
Were they my friends? (Elas eram minhas amigas?) (Forma interrogativa)
Já estava me esquecendo, vou falar da forma interrogativa do verbo "to be" (ser/estar):
