This is my second time receiving a RocksBox and I was really excited to see if my experience would be just as good as the first one. Once you are ready to send the jewelry back, all you do is send the entire box in the package that they give you. It was so easy and they sent me another box right away once they received the first box. See what I got in the box and my thoughts below!

These are definitely earrings I would buy myself, and I have been loving them. I don't like wearing long dangling earrings since they get caught in my hair, so these are the perfect length. I really considering buying these since I don't know if I will be able to part with them now.

I rarely ever buy bracelets because I have baby wrists. Seriously I can never get a bracelet to stay on without falling off or moving everywhere. This one actually fit! And I love how dainty yet noticeable it is.

I love these kind of necklaces and was really surprised to see one in my box. It's a beautiful royal blue color and a nice size. I was hoping the chain would be longer but it was quite short. I don't usually wear necklaces like this one, but at least I get to try it out for a while and see how I like it.

So, overall I was happy about what I received in my RocksBox and really pleased with how well they give you the type of jewelry you request.

I use this one everyday since I have really sensitive skin. I need to use products that are fragrance free and hypoallergenic so this one is perfect. It is a little greasy when your putting it on, but that feeling goes away after a couple of minutes. I even use this on my face under my makeup for protection and it doesn't make my makeup look any different. It makes my skin feel not as dry when I use this first. (Retails for $10.49)

I used this on my daughter when she went swimming and it worked! It wasn't greasy or it didn't turn white when I put it on my daughter's skin. (Retails for $10.49)

Also, I have some myths and facts to share about sun protection:

MYTH: The sun doesn’t change.

“The brightness of the sun has increased, while the ozone layer has been depleted. Climate change has led to warmer temperatures, which means Spring comes earlier and Fall lasts longer, and people are outside more. Due to the combination of these environmental and lifestyle changes, current risk of UV is higher than it’s been ever before.” – Dr. Drew Shindell, Scientist at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies.

MYTH: 50 minutes a day is essential for vitamin D.

“Incidental sun exposure is plenty for most people. If you think you are vitamin D deficient, get a blood test. There are fat-soluble vitamins available, which you do not need to take every day. Thus, vitamin D is not an excuse to get a tan and certainly not an excuse to go to a tanning bed.” – Dr. Doris Day, NYC-based Dermatologist

MYTH: You need a base tan before vacation.

“Does anybody still believe this? There’s no such thing as a base tan, it’s just one more excuse to have a tan. If you don’t want to get sunburn on vacation, use your sun protection and be sun smart.” – Dr. Doris Day

MYTH: You have most of your sun by the age of 18, and it doesn’t matter what you do after.

Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting "CC" Cream - Review

Today I have a review of the Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting CC cream. This is my first CC cream that I have ever tried. CC cream is also known as a "Color Control" cream. CC cream's benefits are to include sun protection, have better coverage, and treat uneven skin tone better then a BB cream. See my review below!

Smell: Almost like suntan lotion which was not the greatest. Didn't care for the smell at all.

Application: I used a full pump and it was way too much. Half a pump was much better and working with a lighter coat seems to be better as well. Once applied it instantly felt sticky on my skin. I thought the sticky feeling would go away but it actually stayed on my face for a long time. Even when it dried down I would feel my face throughout the day and it was still there. I wanted to take it off my face so fast. I tried putting a powder over which did work a bit but I shouldn't have to put a powder on which bugged me. Coverage was extremely light and it did even out my skin tone a bit. That was really the only difference I saw in my skin.

Recommend it? No, not with the experience I had. I can't get over the way it felt and that is the biggest downfall for me. I would not buy this and probably not even be able to finish this one.

Today I have a review on a new product from Almay that I am really excited to be reviewing. I received one of these from Klout and I loved it so much I bought three more recently. Almay has made an amazing liquid lip balm and everyone needs to try them out. I bought the shades: Apricot, Cantaloupe, Pink Pout, and Just Plum Good. See more photos and swatches below!

This gorgeous Lip Balm combines lip color and care in one luscious package! It delivers the lip-loving conditioners of a balm with the shine and flirty color of your favorite gloss. Lips are drenched with 2x hydration and shine with sheer color. Plus, lips feel softer, smoother, and healthier over time.

Smell: Vanilla, sugary, sweet smell. I really love the way they smell. It's not too strong, it's just enough.

Application: They are really sheer and and feel amazing on the lips. It glides on smooth and instantly makes your lips feel moisturized. They are quite buildable when your talking about making the color pop more. One coat will just look like sheer color, but I was able to build up Pink Pout, Apricot, and Just Plum Good to make the colors more vibrant. Cantaloupe was too light for my skin tone and didn't look good. The lip balm lasted for about 4 hours and then color and balm was mostly gone. That's a pretty good wear time for a sheer lip balm. The gloss is a very thin light formula which makes applying it so easy. There is no stickiness in this formula at all!

Recommend? Yes! At least try one and see how you like it. You should not be disappointed.

Jordana Cosmetics Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara - Review

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about this mascara from Jordana Cosmetics and decided to give it a try. For my lashes, I do like to get length more than volume from a mascara. But volume can be good too as long as the mascara doesn't look clumpy or overdone. See my thoughts and review below!

Starting at root of lashes, wiggle the brush and sweep upward in long lifting strokes. Remove any excess mascara from lash before doing bottom lashes.

Now, remember this mascara is all about volume. I wasn't expecting to get length or curl from this mascara because that's not what this mascara claims to do. I can definitely say that this mascara volumizes greatly. I wish this mascara would give me the length and curl in addition to the amazing volume. So to make this work for me, I use this mascara first and then my usual Too Faced mascara for the length and curl. Both of them together work great.

This mascara lasted all day long with no clumping or flaking. It would be perfect for those with sparse/thin lashes and need the extra volume.You seriously can't go wrong with just trying it out, it's so affordable!

Today I have a few swatches of the Buxom Full Bodied Lipsticks. I have been obsessing over these lately and they are amazing! I love the formula, pigmentation, and how moisturizing they are. The color selection is nice ranging from bright shades to deep dark shades. One downside, is how pricey they are. I bought mine when I had a Sephora coupon which helped. But they are worth it for the quality. If your lips are usually dry and need extra moisture from a lipstick, definitely give these a try.

Revlon 3D Jewel Appliques Wild Flowers in Hyper Floral - Photos and Review

Today I have a review on the Revlon Jewel Appliques in Hyper Floral. I saw these recently at Walgreens and decided to buy some. I enjoyed the ones that Revlon came out with months ago so I figured these would be just as good. See more photos and my review below!

Application: The application was probably the most easiest and fastest I've ever used for being nail stickers. Applying them I had no trouble of them peeling off or not sticking. I was really impressed at the sizes that were available since a few of my nails are oddly shaped.

Wear: The first day of wearing these was great! All stickers stayed in tact all day long with no chipping or peeling. I did the usual things that are in my day to see how they would hold up. Cleaning the house, washing dishes, stuff like that. They still looked amazing by the end of the day.

Third day I noticed the tips of my nails were showing but that wasn't the nail stickers. It was just growth of my nails but not too noticeable from afar. I even got compliments a few times when I went out to run errands. Definitely love the way the nail stickers held up and the design looks great.

By the fourth day, this is when the chipping and slight peeling started. I didn't look good and I was already wanting a change on my nails, so I took them off. Removal was easy I just peeled them off slowly. They left glue on my nails but it just rolled off and my nails were not damaged at all.

Overall: These nail appliques are great as wanting some kind of nail art on your nails that you may not be able to do free hand. I always go back to Revlon nail stickers than any other brand simply because of how easy they are to apply and how they look. I definitely recommend these if you want something fast and easy. Don't expect them to last weeks though. Mine lasted for 4 days total.

Flower Beauty Face The World Tinted Moisturizer - Review

Tinted moisturizers are back into my daily makeup routine since it has been so hot here. When it's so hot, I try to avoid any kind of heavy foundations. I thought this would be the perfect time to try out the Flower Beauty tinted moisturizer and see how I would like it. See more info and my review below!

My Review:

Smell: Has a very faint, light foundation scent.

Application: I used my fingers (clean of course) to apply the tinted moisturizer. It was creamy and not watery at all making it really easy to blend. To blend I just used my fingers instead of using a brush. I right away noticed that this evened my skin tone and made my redness less noticeable. It didn't completely take away the redness since this is light coverage, but enough to pass if I wanted to wear it on its own. I have cam across other tinted moisturizers to feel sticky once applied. This one feels silky and smooth on my skin. Very nice coverage for everyday use.

Wear throughout the day: I wore for about 9 hours and then after that my skin didn't feel as velvety as it did when I applied it. But 9 hours was impressive for a tinted moisturizer. I have dry skin, and this tinted moisturizer gave me enough moisture though out the day. I had no breakout or allergic reaction to this at all. My skin is sensitive so I always know right away when a product is not going to work for me.

The fact that it has no SPF was the only downfall of this product. I mean it's not a huge problem because you can use a moisturizer before hand that has a good SPF and then apply this. But I do enjoy an all in one tinted moisturizer where it has everything I need.

Felt great on the skin
Long lasting

Cons:
No SPF

Would I recommend? I would recommend this tinted moisturizer. I liked the way it felt on my skin and how lightweight it is. This is a great tinted moisturizer for the price. It might be pricey for a drugstore product, but the quality is there.

I really did love these and the finish, they are amazing! A few of my favorites were Rock Candy, Tangerine Dream, and Blueberry Fizz. My least favorite was Hot Cinnamon, I just don't prefer red nail polish on me. The rest were gorgeous though and applied really well. Remember with these to not use a base coat or a top coat to get the full textured effect. The only downside is when you want to take them off it's a process, but I think so worth it. I love the variety of colors that they come in, making them great for Spring and Summer.

Always remember that these are glitter eyeshadows, so when applying it will be different than a regular eyeshadow. No swiping (which I made the mistake of) since glitter will have major fallout and be everywhere. Just use a flat eyeshadow brush and pack on the shadow by pressing it onto your lid. These are gorgeous once applied on the eyes and sparkle so much! My favorite is Space Cowboy since it's very sheer and gives glimmer and shine to any shadow you have under. Using a glitter base or something for it to stick to will help if you have trouble getting the glitter to stay.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream - Review

Today I have a review of the Aveeno Intensive Night Cream. I've never thought of using a night cream until I tried this one. I've used moisturizers but some were too heavy and greasy for an overnight use. Aveeno is always my go-to skin care products because I know how gentle yet effective they are for my skin. I have more dry and sensitive skin so Aveeno is my favorite. See how I liked this night cream in my review below!

I'm going to break down this review to make it a bit easier. Let me know how you like it:

Smell - Very fresh, light, and clean.

Application - Right when I applied it to my face, I immediately noticed how light the cream is. I've tried other creams that have been way too thick and take forever to absorb. This took less than 3 minutes to fully absorb and just make your skin feel soft and non greasy. I really liked how little of the product you need as well. A little goes a long way once you rub it in. I made sure to take the cream down to my neck which made it feel more hydrated.

In the morning - Once I woke up my skin felt more soft and even looked hydrated. I've had problems like peeling skin around my nose and forehead from being so dry. I haven't had those problems since using this cream every night. Once I was ready to apply my makeup, I felt like I didn't need an extra moisturizer since my skin was so nice. Of course I used an sunscreen with SPF like usual though for protection from the sun.

Would I recommend? If you are looking for a hydrating night cream, then yes! For people with oily skin, I would think this would still work for you since it is a very light cream and not thick and heavy. For those with dry skin, this will definitely work for you.

My Review:

I swirled all of the color in each one to get the swatches you see above. Of course you can use one shade in the pigment on its own, two shades, or blend them all together. I like the I can change up how the shadow looks just by using another color or using one color on its own. These are just so incredibly pigmented and silky smooth. They last all day long and easy to apply.

I have trouble finding products from Stila that I really love. This new Summer collection that Stila has come out with is amazing. I haven't tried everything, but from what I have I love the products.

One downside of these is the price. They are worth it because of how pigmented they are and the color selection you get. It's like getting three shadows in one. They are quite pricey for a color pigment, but if you could get them with a Sephora sale or a coupon code on Stila's website it would be more great. If you were to buy one of these you will not be disappointed.

Here is the Beauty Question of the Day: What are your favorite lipstick brands?

My Answer: If we are talking drugstore, then it would have to be Revlon or Milani. Both brands of lipsticks always have great pigmentation and a good range of colors. High end would be MAC or the Buxom lipsticks. I recently tried the Buxom ones and I am hooked! I will review those soon.

L'Oreal Limited Edition Miss Candy Collection (Lipglosses) - Photos and Swatches

I recently saw this new collection from L'Oreal called Miss Candy at Rite-Aid and really thinking about going back to get more products. Everything is so cute and colorful for Spring, so the first things I picked up was the limited edition Le Gloss lipglosses. I only wanted to buy one or two but I couldn't resist them all! The glosses themselves are nice on the lips. They are not too sticky and glide on smoothly. I like them all but probably could of skipped Princess Lolly since I have a bunch of pink jelly like glosses. My favorite is the Mint Ice since it has a shimmer to it and you could layer it. I do like Short Shorts but Orange Creamsicle doesn't look that great on me on its own. Maybe if I wear it over a lip color it would look better. So if you are wanting to get any, I would definitely pick up Mint Ice and Short Shorts.

Inglot Cosmetics Sleeks CREAM Lip Paints (5 Shades) - Photos and Swatches

Today I have swatches of some of the Inglot Sleeks Cream lip paints. I started out with one that I bought about a year ago and recently purchased more because they are amazing. Seriously, if someone asked me what my favorite lip gloss of all time is, it would be these. They are really pigmented yet light and not too sticky. Find out more and see swatches below!

The only info I could find on these lip paints:

Vitamin E hydrates and nourishes in this long lasting non sticky lip paint with a luster finish.

If you haven't tried anything from Inglot, you can't go wrong with their eyeshadows and these lip paints. These are hydrating and stay on for hours without reapplying. Even after eating and drinking I will still have the color on my lips. Each swatch was just one swipe! That's how much color you get the first time you take the doe-foot applicator out. So amazing and they feel great on.
