Hand knitters !! The same wool that I use to create my luxury Aran knitwear is now available to buy on the cone. No more joining in balls to enable you to knit each panel in one continuous strand. Delivery times update.

The high demand for hand knitted Aran's continues into the summer, which is unusual, which means that the normal 30 day delivery schedule has been suspended. Currently the next available deivery date is towards the end of June 2008. You are welcome to drop me an e-mail to reserve a slot with payment defferred until nearer the delivery time. Due to popular demand I now have a page where you can buy the same high quality 100% pure new Aran wool that I use. There is a wide selection of colours to choose from and it is all produced in Scotland by one of the few Heritage Mills remaining using a restored 19th century spinning mule. This is a premium wool unlike many cheaper imported Aran wool which have a low wool content. Your finished Aran garments will be warmer, heavier and far outlast an Aran knitted with a lower standard of wool. ...Roslyn......24/01/2007

System clitch.

My IT man has been playing about a bit and has mucked up the checkout for online payments. The checkout has been showing a charge for postage and packing which is wrong as the total cost of Arans is �150 - �175. After having a few choice words this has now been rectified. Orders for Christmas 2006.

My order book is now pretty full for December 2006 and at this moment I cannot guarantee that orders placed now, after 26th November 2006, will arrive in time for Christmas. If you are not looking for delivery before Christmas these orders can still be accepted and will be knitted as the orders come in.
