The ARBInstitute’s installation “on the wire” will be debuting at the Soundasaurus Festival of experimental sound and performative new media on Friday, January 20th at the Engineered Air Theatre in Calgary.

Pearson Ranch Fencing Project

The ARBInstitute will be taking part in field work on the Pearson Ranch South of Orion Alberta this weekend, July 23 & 24. They will be adding a bottom strand of smooth wire to 5 miles of three strand barbed wire fence and re-space existing three strands of barbed wire.

T he institute works with organizations involved in the remediation of the negative impact that forms of human intervention such as barbed wire fences have had on existing ecosystems.
