I love it when my friends will see something I made and then think up something else they want me to make especially for them. That is where this little guy came from. I have been making the "mini totes" (http://archandmadetotes.blogspot.com/2010/07/mini-tote-with-wrist-strap.html ) and when I delivered an order, one of my friends wanted a rectangular mini tote with a wrist holder. I am so happy with the way it turned out. I will be making more of these, that is for sure!

Spring Tote

Here is an amazing tote that I made from a place mat and napkin set. It has two pockets on the outside and one on the inside. There is a tie closure.

This blue one was made for a friend of mine and she loved it!

This green one is nice and shiny from the ribbon straps. I was able to give this one as a Birthday Gift.

Custom Gift Order

My boys were invited to a teenage girl's birthday party recently. I knew this was the perfect opportunity for me to create something fun. Since I only have boys, any time we have to get a gift for a girl, I get excited because I get a chance to sew!

This girl has unique taste and so that is why creating a tote (or in this case, 2 totes) for her was the perfect opportunity for me to look for what I knew she would like. When I showed her Mom, she even reiterated that her daughter is picky, but that I had hit the nail on the head when choosing her fabric. Check out the creation below:

I created a mini tote and a matching larger tote.

The inside of the larger tote has a cell phone pocket. The inside of the mini tote has the opposite fabric of the outside.

Swimsuit Tote

The idea for this tote had been "swimming" around in my head for a while. When I began creating it, I was very excited that my idea was being brought to life. I believe the finished product turned out better than I even imagined it!

This is a great tote to take with you to the pool or the beach. When you are done swimming, you don't want your wet swimsuit to get the rest of your belongings wet, do you? No, so here is a water proof tote that will keep your wet swimsuit and towel from getting the rest of your stuff wet! Genius, I know :)

Here is a look at the inside which is water proof.

It has a convenient wrist holder so you can still have the use of both hands when packing up the gang to head back home!

This tote is available by order only. Please give me 7 days from order date to ship/delivery date. This is the only one I currently have in stock. However, by ordering a custom tote, you can have it personalized with your name or the name of a loved one. You can also choose your own colors.

In an effort to publicize the talent God has given to me and get myself more exposure, I have decided to create a blog especially for the totes I sew.
