Sophie Tucker: Origins of the Red Hot Mama, 1910-1922 is now available and shipping immediately. The set features Sophie's 24 earliest recordings, including all 10 of her Edison wax cylinders, and is packaged in a 72-page, CD-sized, full color hardback book. The book features notes by documentarians Susan and Lloyd Ecker, a forward by Michael Feinstein, a personal remembrance by Carol Channing, and rare illustrations from Sophie's personal scrapbooks.
