Originally uploaded by doug_rA fun little outtake taking during the still life shooting I was doing yesterday. I&#39;d been wanting to shoot this little vase filled with cherries but cherry season is long over but cherry tomatoes are ripe and abundant right now.

Over the last couple of days, I snubbed these off, and set them in a vase of water. I dumped in a teaspoon of sugar and an aspirin tablet and lo! bare branches to brightly colored blossoms bursting with fragrance in 48 hours.
