DUTY MANAGER

Duty Manager required in our 4 stars hotel with fine dining restaurant and extensive Conference and Banqueting Facilities.
We are looking for a Duty Manager with a Food and Beverage background and someone who has had experience of working within a high quality hotel where service is of the highest level. The restaurant serves around 60 covers per service and they have conferencing for up to 300.

You will have experience within both restaurant and conference and banqueting and have the ability to run both weddings and a restaurant service. As Duty Manager you will ensure each department is running smoothly and that the highest standards are being met.

As Duty Manager you will be very standards driven with a professional and friendly manner. You will be highly organised and be able to think on your feet and deal with any situations that arise in an efficient and professional manner.

This position offers excellent working conditions within a 4 stars environment and a friendly team along with lots of opportunity to progress further in your career.

Ardencote Manor's Executive Head Chef - Sicilian-born Luciano Catalinotto - is becoming a bit of a radio celebrity on Coventry & Warwickshire Radio with his regular slot on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Radio with Radio & TV Celeb Wincey Willis. But on Sunday 1st June there was a 'location swap' when Wincey broadcasted live from Luciano's kitchens at the Ardencote Manor. The Ardencote Chef regularly guides listeners with tips and recipes on Wincey's Sunday show and is rapidly acquiring a local fan club!

Council praises Hotel for green efforts.....

Ardencote Manor Hotel has become the first company in Warwickshire to win one of the County Council's new Environmental Certificates. The Hotel contacted the County Council some time ago, expressing an interest in reducing their environmental impact. Stephen Lewington, a Business Environmental Adviser with the Council, has been working with them advising on waste minimisation and recycling, reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. In addition, Stephen introduced the company to a county arborist who advised on tree planting to facilitate their carbon-offset initiatives.

Cllr Martin Healey, the CC's Portfolio Holder for the Environment says, "I'm delighted with this shift in Warwickshire. Ardencote Manor is one of a growing number of companies recognising the importance of responding to the environmental agenda, and one of the Council's key objectives is pursuing a sustainable environment.

Ardencote Manor will be presented with their Award on Wednesday 27th February at 2.30pm.
