so 2day i wanna talk about dis new ship design from Japan.. as u all know, orng Jepun ni mmng kepala hotak eco-friendly so ape2 technology jorng mesti ade element environment friendly.. so the ship i'm talking about is the ISHIN-II ferry.. kapal ni dibina oleh MITSUI OSK lines n its for passenger n cargo transportation..

whats so green about this ship is that it uses a Contra-Rotating Propeller(rotation in opposite direction) system with a diesel engine n electric motor.. the great thing about the CRP is that it uses one engine to drive two propellers..the CRP will have no rotating airflow, pushing a maximum amount of water through the propeller disk resulting in high performance and low energy loss..

aku baru teringat pasal dis one plane i saw in Transformer 2: revenge of the fallen yg dr dulu aku nak share ngan orng.. its dis one bad-ass looking multi-function tiltrotor aircraft the Bell-Boeing V22 Ospray.. as u all know, helicopter ni kelebihan dia ialah its capability to do short, vertical takeoff and landing..tp top speed average hanya sekadar 250 kmph.. thats pretty slow.. so in 1980, the US military took the best of both plane n helicopter to make the V22 Ospray.. kat plane jorang pasang 2 enjin Rolls-Royce Allison yg mampu menghasilkan lebih 6000 hp..damn.. the V22 Ospray can go over 470 kmph..nice

bulan 10 tahun lepas, aku dapat email dr member aku yg study kat MIAT, Nilai, dia ajak dtng ke AERO carnival jorng.. so kebetulan time 2 pon aku xde mende nak wat, so aku pon g la ngan 4 orng membe aku..aku ni mmng minat ngan ape2 mende mekanikal, pesawat ke, kereta ke, kapal ke.. pas2 membe aku kate ade helicopter ride and i hav always wanted to ride one.. once we got there, we parked in front of this huge hangar.. in front they actually put some old used airplane for show.. here are some snaps..

so we went inside the hangar, and there was many booths.. so i met up with my friend and he took us around.. agak seronok la dapat lihat cam mane student2 kat cni blaja.. ade bnyk la kapal terbang nye parts n body everywhere.. aku pon terpikir la, maybe i should hav applied here u know.. mainly coz, i always hated studying in a class-like environment.. i prefer to study practically.. n the most interesting thing is the workshops.. there are many workshops, n each is for different things.. theres one for the plane's engine, one for the wing n even one for the plane's paint job.. student jorng pon x ramai sngt actually.. so aku pon dok tanye2 membe aku 2 mane nak naek helicopter nye, at last dia kate helicopter ride 2 x jadi but 2ka dngan air-balloon ride, lastly dua2 x jd..damn, what a let-down.. nyway, kalo korang or ade adik/friend yg mmng berminat nak study kapal terbang, bole la apply cni.. sejak aku kecik lg, aku mmng die hard fan kat Lara Croft: Tomb Raider series.. aku maen dr PS1, GameBoy, PS2 smpai PC.. so a little background story.. Tomb Raider legacy ni adalah hasil idea Toby Gard n the first release of the original Tomb Raider was in 1996..semnjak 2, Tomb Raider menjadi begitu feymes smpai masuk Guiness Book of Records sebagai 'most succesful virtual game heroine'.. basically, the game is about a multi-billionaire female adventurer who is ~~not only super-hot~~, but excellent in the martial-arts and gun-wielding.. she travels the world in search of ancient tombs for unsolved mysteries.... the first six games are developed by Core Design and was taken over by Crystal Dynamics..the game was later developed into a movie which stars Angelina Jolie.. so here are the list of games since it was released in 1996..

discover Malaysia-Pulau Pangkor, Perak

aku ni asyik cite pasal trip aku kat oversea je kan, so kali ni aku nak cite pasal trip aku ngan member2 JAD(Japanese Associate Degree) ke PULAU PANGKOR!!! yeeaayyy... this trip package cost about RM150 for 2 days 1 night stay including lunch n dinner,snorkelling n island tour..n let me tell u that its worth it..for a student i mean..

so we went during our semester breakduring our second year.. credit to my friend Amer for organising this trip.. kitorng bertolak dr Shah Alam n we went by two super-fast cars..my VIVA GTR, n Paan's MYVI 360 spider..haha..

after two hour drive, we reached Btu Gajah n stayed overnight at my friends, Mad n Nyai's place.. esok nye, sblom bertolak ke Pulau Pangkor kitorang stop dulu kat Mad nye cousin's place for some keropok lekor..nice..

dis is the final crew before taking off..

sedap bai makan 'lekor ball' kat sepupu Mad nye kedai.. korng dtngla yeh..same2 memajukan usahawan negara..

so after an hour drive from Btu Gajah we finally reaches Pangkor's jetty where we will be taking a ferry to Pulau Pngkor.. perjalanan dalam feri mengambil masa lebih kurang setengah jam la.. depends on which part of the island ur going.. actually do u know that there are Pulau Pangkor actually consists of 9 small island. Pangkor n Pangkor Laut are the two biggest n the only two inhabited by humans.. Pangkor Laut is very expensive to go to n only high class people go there..

bile kitorang smpai, kitorng naek van yg termasuk dlm package ni n tros ke tmpat penginapan..

nice colour eh..haha

kitorng dapat dua bilik n 1 bilik leh stay dalam 6 orng.. very spacious too..just nice la.. they also have karaoke lounge, beach volleyball court n a small aquarium..err..

so ni la tempat ne.. Seagull Beach Village Resort.. daitai ok la kan for a student..

so tempat dah settle, ape lg, mandi laut la..
i hav to say, the beach is better than i expected.. its very clean n thankfully there were not that many people..

so enough about the beach, tngok gamba ni.. ini namanye burung enggang or in English, Hornbill(Bucerotidae) .. kat Pangkor banyak beno natang ni so aku nak share sket la pasal burung ni.. as u can see, the hornbill has a rather unique bill(beak) which help during fighting, preening n constructing nests.. the bill is very wanted in Japan to make wooden scultures called 'netsuke'...

that night lepas mandi laut, ade dinner.. ok what.. ade ketam..

so, besok 2 lak kitorang bngun awal pg, pas2 tros g snorkelling.. best.. ok la, jorng bwak g 1 kat 1 spot ni, where they are breeding fishes so we can actually swim with the fishes.. u can bring some bread too..

after that they just took us around the island.. do whatever the hell we want..haha.. damn, aku makin hitam gler time ni..

tnga hari 2, kitorang tros packing nak blek, put the luggage in the van, n before leaving we actually did a little island tour.. jorng bwak g kilang satay ikan where u can see how the process of making fish products..

last but not least, kitorng snggah jap kat tokong cina ni.. its pretty big.. check it out..

so 2 jela trip kitorang.. overall, mmng enjoy la trip.. kos pon ok.. so aku syorkan la korng kalo ade plan nak wat trip ke, bole la g pangkor.. thats all.. Assalamualaikum...

I went to Shenzen, China two years ago n i want to share about the things i did there.. first of all, here is a map of where Shenzen is. Shenzen ni bersebelahan ngan Hong Kong, n besenye kalo orng g Hong Kong akan pergi Shenzen gak.. its only a hour flight from Malaysia..

Shenzen is actually one of the most richest part of China.. tmpat paling popular kat shenzen ni adalah Splendid China..it was open in 2003.. dis theme park terbahagi kepada dua.. Miniature China n Chinese folk culture village.. the park's theme reflects the history, culture, art, ancient architecture, customs and habits of various nationalities..sbb aku maleh taip bnyk2 kali ni, aku cite dngn gamba2 aku tngkap jela..

First lets talk about Miniature China.. kat sini korng leh tngok Great Wall, Forbidden City n laen2, in miniature size.. kite leh plih nak jalan kaki pusing2 or naek train pusing2 2.. n sbb aku syng lemak badan aku, aku pon naek tren la..

the most interesting part is here you can watch live cultural show which have acrobatic performance n dance.. nice.. just so you know, the travel guide told me that the female dancers are are picked from all over China n only the best are selected.. n believe me, she wasn't lying when she said that.. damn.. meleleh air liur aku time tngok jrng awek2 hot joget..haha.. i really wanted to show you a vid, but at that time cameras are not allowed, n aku ni kan skema.. haha.. but you can watch this video someone else took.. its really amazing..

this time i wanna talk about The Great Wall of China.. time sekolah menengah dulu ade blaja sket pasal great wall ni.. aku rase sume dah tau bhawia great wall ni dibina tok halang serangan kaum2 barbarian trhadap Cina.. ni aku nak cite detail sket la.. so, The Great Wall was built in the 7th century BC ketika Cina masih belum bersatu.. origin great wall ni sbenanye adalah dinding2 kecil yg dibina sebagai fortress tok halang serangan kaum2 nomad cam Xiongnu tribe dr Mongolia. selepas Cina bersatu pada 221 BC, emperor Qin Dynasty yg pertama, Qin Shi Huang pon sambungkan dinding2 kecil ni n terjadi la the Great Wall.. panjang Great Wall yg sebenar adalah 8900 km n it was built by hand.. pergh.. pembinaan Great wall ni bersambungan dinasti ke dinasti smpai la siap semasa Ming Dynasty pada 17th century..lebih kurang 2000 tahun la.. Actually, only some part of the Great Wall are open to tourist n tmpat yg pg ni dekat Juyongguan, Beijing.. so here are some photos..

u know there was this President Of China whose name i cant remember, said that u can only call urself a true man only if hav been to the Great Wall of China.. well i think he's right about that.. yela, korng bayangkan la nak bina dinding yg lebih kurang 9000 km n about 8m tall.. korng tngok la gamba2 kat atas, bkn atas tanah rata jorng bina dinding ni, but mountain terrains..damn.. n worst of all, they built it by hand.. no wonder over a million people died during the construction..

discover China- Forbidden City, Beijing

Awal Januari tahun lepas, aku ngan family aku, telah bertolak ke Beijing, China. Kebetulan selepas Beijing Olympics 2008, tiket ke Beijing became a lot cheaper, so ape lg, pg jela.. so i thought of sharing some of my experience there n share sket2 informasi yg aku pelajari semasa kat c2..

Forbidden City ni terletak kat tnga2 Beijing. tempat ni agak besar la, n damn panjang gler.. nak berjalan dr hujung ke hujung mmng letih.. sejarah tmpat ni aku x tahu sngt n i was not paying much atention to the tour guide at that time.. so aku cite jela takat ape yg aku tau..

Forbidden City ni terbahagi kepada 2, outer court n inner court.. outer court ni tmpat2 perayaan n official ceremony or watever.. n inner court ni terletaknye rumah raja n permaisuri.. its called Forbidden just because normal civilians cant enter it, its not mythical or anything like that.. but, nama2 bangunan jorng mmng epic gler.. cnth, nama tmpat tidur raja is called 'Palace of Hevenly Purity' n the queen's is called 'Palace of Earthy Tranquility'.. damn epic gler..

This is just outside of the entrance gate. Tempat ni sbenanye bernama Tiananmen Square..it was built during the Ming Dynasty around 1415 n its actually the second largest city square in the world.. tempat ni amat bermakna kpd orng Cina sbb bnyk sejarah2 penting berlaku di cni.. yg kot biru 2 akak aku n kot hitam 2 adek aku..

This is the monument to the People's Heroes.. monumen ni dibina bg mengingati para2 pejuang revolusi rakyat Cina di sekitar abad ke 19 n 20..

this is the gate of the Forbidden City.. kat sini ade bnyk penjaja yg jual stuff macam scarf, snow cap, gloves n laen2.. n just so u know, at that time it was freezing to death.. -12 degree.. damn, can u imagine.. i cant even stand genting which was way warmer compare Beijing..

u know, they have these guardian lion statues everywhere.. its called Imperial Guardian Lions n orng Cina percaya bhawa singa ni boleh bawak good fortune so nowadays they hav these like everywhere, restaurants, office, even rich people's home.. u got to admit, it does looks badass..

for over 500 years, it served as the home of emperors ande their households
over that time, it had served as a home for 24 emperors
it took 15 years to build n required over a million workers
terdiri dr 980 bangunan n 8707 bilik
nama Cina nye ialah "Zijin Cheng" meaning 'purple palace'
in 1860, the French took control of the Forbidden City and occupied it until the end of the Opium war
when the Japanese invaded China in 1933, all treasures inside the Forbidden City was taken and was returned after the of the World War 2
Forbidden City diisytiharkan sebagai tapak warisan dunia oleh UNESCO pada 1987
