I think we have one of the most beautiful languages on Earth and when a singer expresses it very well, it can go no wrong! Add a powerful music backdrop and you got yourself an amazing song! That is exactly how we can describe Armenian singer Tiko’s newest track ‘ Sirt.’ The video has just been made public today and we have the world premiere!

Tiko is a relatively new singer and this is his first music video and judging by the quality of ‘Sirt’, we can expect some incredible works from this rising star! Lyrics and music both were written by Tiko and the video is directed by Karen Stepanyan.

Arman – Hello – Video Premiere

Arman is an Armenian and Arabic singer based out in Los Angeles, California. He first burst on to the music scene around the new millennium with his dance hit ‘Surpee Nman.’ Arman then followed up with a touching and powerful ballad about love lost with his next hit ‘Heranoum.’ Both tracks play on Armenian Pulse Radio and today we have another to add, Arman just released his latest video, titled ‘Hello’ and we have the premiere for you today.

Arman’s style is more geared towards the western Armenian genre which has Mediterranean and Arabic vibes. ‘Hello’ is a perfect example of that style! Lyrics were written by Arman and the music is credited to Mustafa Kirk, Album produced by Nabu Poli and the video is directed by Rafi B.

Armenian pop star Hayk Kasparov has been releasing pop hits since he first came on to the music scene in 2008. His music is requested on Armenian Pulse Radio constantly and he was recently nominated for an AMPA award for Best Male Pop Artist. DJ Davo | Novva | Emmy – DANCE – Video Premiere

DJ Davo’s newly released ‘iHouse’ album has been the talk of social media for the past 2 months. The highly anticipated album is a collective collaboration with some of the hottest established and up and coming young Armenian artists around today. The first video single which was released today is called ‘Dance’ and is a collaboration with record producer, manager and artist Novva and famed Armenian Pop singer Emmy. The song is a highly charged dance track produced by Araik “MG” Mouradian and written by Novva and SiAna.

Since Emmy is from Armenia and Novva from California, we caught up with Novva and asked him how this collaboration came to fruition:

“Emmy and I have known each other for years, but never had the opportunity to meet in person, my good friend Karen Aghasyan (AK Photography) introduced us officially a few months ago when Emmy was in Los Angeles. After we met, it only took us 2 days to record ‘Dance,’ our first track together.”

The next generation in Armenian artists have proven that they have what it takes to compete with today’s hottest westernized pop music. And we, as music lovers, now have a choice in basically all genres when it comes to Armenian music.

Continuing with our interview with Novva, he explains how the video came to be and who were the major players involved in bringing the visuals for ‘Dance.’

“Since it was picked up to debut on DJ Davo’s ‘iHouse’ and Emmy was due to visit Los Angeles again, We all decided to shoot a music video for the song and with the help of many people and in such a short amount of time, everything came together. Diana Kazandjian from DC Visions produced the video with directors Leeron Cohen and Hovik (Eurostyle Photography and Video). The location of the shoot and all the vehicles were provided by Designo Motors. We are grateful for everyone’s contributions!”
