Il movimento della tonica modale è per semitoni discendenti.

Cominciate a creare una line di 4 misure partendo da C Lydian poi scendete di mezzo tono a B Lydian e così via fino al C Lydian dell'ottava sotto.

Vi propongo un mio arrangiamento di Autumn Leaves.
Quelle che riterrete "stonature" in realtà non lo sono, la vostra opinione è evidentemente subordinata ad un ear training limitato alla musica corrente. Aprite le orecchie,(se le avete), e rivalutate serenamente.

Questa breve escursione sulla Taranta in questo articolo è giustificata dal fatto che essa ha un impianto armonico fondamentalmente modale e, per gli amanti dello swing, un impianto ritmico che ricorda tale genere musicale.

La polifonia, dal greco polus-fonè, in musica è il principio secondo il quale  le composizioni musicali presentano più linee melodiche del tutto indipendenti l'una dall'altra, sia dal punto di vista melodico che ritmico.

Si perchè ritengo che la cultura musicale di estrazione afro-americana sia stata un pò imposta dalle nostre parti a partire dal periodo del dopoguerra con la venuta degli americani e tuttora anche se diluitasi persiste come residuo

COndivido il suo concetto sull'ARMONIA.
In effetti la parola deriva dal greco "armonia" che signifca: collegamento, giuntura, connessione, e dal verbo "armozo" : collego, connetto, unisco.
Quindi nell'armonia tonale un suono preso da solo comunqe non ha valore; assume valore in
