AEGIS SPECIAL VEHICLES provides with various levels of armoring according to the needs and the requirements of the customers. Providing the said requirements can take up to 4 -5 weeks time frame in armoring the vehicles which again depends upon the range of protection which include light firearm to high power artillery and military grade weapons.

You can choose from the set standard level of armoring and we can customize the same according to your needs. Standard level of armoring process is mentioned as below which the clients can have a look and decide:

LEVEL 4 ARMORING:

This armoring level provides its occupants against the maximum firepower of Calibre Magnum 44. The window thickness would be around 18.6 mm which can withstand several rounds of 0.45 AC and 0.44 magnum fired from Mag 44, UZI 9 mm or a MP5. The protected parts of the vehicle includes entire body structure, doors, roof, floor, roof frame, dash and console reinforcements and fuel tank. Additionally tires fitted with run-flats provided in case of flat tires which can support to drive out to safe distance, also provided are retainers for armored panels.

LEVEL 5 ARMORING:

Level 5 armoring provides the occupants with the maximum firepower of an AK 57, GALIL, G3 and FUSIL. The thickness of the window is around 40 mm which can withstand several rounds of 5.56 and 7.62 rifle bullets. For this armoring level, you will get ballistic steel caps, armored doors, floor, roof frame, retainers on the panels, dashboard and console, fuel tank, reinforced sides and bumpers. The battery box and electric systems of the vehicles are also fully protected. Additionally the tires comes with teflon and the clients also are provided with intercom to maintain two-way communication even in time of distress. The floor and panels are armored with explosive wave dissipation and a fibber which prevents fragments.

LEVEL 6 ARMORING:

Armoring Level 6 protects the occupants from maximum firepower of GALIL and G3 Guns. The weapon has a 7.62 x 51 Full Metal Jacket and protects the vehicle from 5.56 Armor Piercing ballistics. The thickness of the window would be around 46 mm which can withstand many rounds of 5.56 and 7.62 bullets from rifle. This security of armoring level provides ballistic steel caps, armored doors, floors, roof frame, retainers on the panels, dashboard and console, fuel tank, reinforced sides and bumpers and a fibber which prevents fragmentation. The client's also get Teflon tier rings and a two way intercom to maintain communication even in the time of distress. The vehicles are also provided with full protection of battery box and electric systems.

LEVEL 7 ARMORING:

Maximum standard of armoring protects the occupants from firepower of GALIL and G3 Guns. The weapon comes with 7.62 x 51 Full Metal Jacket and protects the vehicle from 7.62 x 51 mm Armor Piercing ballistics, FJ, BP and HC1. Maximum thickness of the window is around 76 mm which can withstand many rounds of bullets as well as armor piercing ballistics. This security level provide ballistic steel caps, armored doors, floor, roof frame, retainers on the panels, dashboard and console, fuel tank, reinforced sides and bumpers and also provide full protection to the hood and the radiator. The floor and the panel of the vehicle are armored with explosive wave dissipation and a fibber which prevents fragmentation. Clients can also get teflon tiers rings and are provided with intercom having two-way communication even in times of distress. The vehicle is also fully protected having protection for the main battery box and the electric systems as well.
