The journal contains many pages of handwritten notes, faded maps, and mentions of various unknown keepsakes left by travellers over the decades along the Mother Road. With these discoveries, Olivia and Ethan set out to explore all the wonderful places along Route 66: old motels, vintage gas stations, quirky roadside attractions, and charming diners, all of which feel stuck in time. While they are exploring everything along the way, they find old photos, vintage souvenirs, and carefully folded letters that allow them to piece together the history of a wonderful journey took place much earlier in time than their own. From these discoveries, they are eventually led to the last location where the last memories have been stored for many years; each clue builds on the last, leading them to a forgotten landmark. Their road trip becomes more than just a road trip; it will be a journey that generates new experiences, makes friends, develops great (and sometimes funny) memories, and creates lifelong friendships through new memories.
