Have you watch the movie Up in the Air? If you have, you might be remember the scene when the main character talks about the backpack metaphor, which I found out thought provoking. Sometimes we are confronted by the difficulty of deciding who and what to keep in our backpacks and who and what we should or need to let go. We can weigh ourself by carrying too much emotional baggage or maintaining relationships that are counterproductive and we will hard to move perpetually in progressive direction to continuously encounter new experiences. But if it is empty it's highly likely that our life lacks emotional fulfillment.

Considering my backpack, it's certainly not empty. It's full of great family, good friends and amazing experiences. However, I do feel as though it's a little light for its size, meaning that my connections to its contents are not as strong as I would like. I'll keep trying to do a better job of adding meaningful weight to my life

The weather is so weird nowadays. It will rain for a moment and then go back to being sunny again. So I layered up. It keeps me warm, but still allow me to pull out the layer & breath when the temperature change. Oh and I want to thank to you guys for your wishes. I finally managed to get a camera! Yay!

So a couple weeks ago I got invited to Outback Steakhouse bloggers & media gathering. So happy I could meet and had some fun with the fabulous bloggers: Ario Achda, Michelle Hendra & Gricia Effendi. Everyone was well dressed and very friendly.
Honestly this was my first visit to Outback Steakhouse and I was over filled with outstanding service and food. The ambiance is also really nice, dim lighting, classy and lounge like setting. The steak was perfect and there is good variety in the menu. And my highlight of the afternoon was the dessert! It completely satisfied my sweet tooth. YUM-O! I would definitely come back again. Already one of the top dinning places on my list.
In Jakarta, Outback Steakhouse located in very prime location such as Pondok Indah Mall 1 & Ratu Plaza in Jakarta, and they will open new branch in Kuningan City very soon. Follow their twitter @OutbackIN for updates and promotions.

BurberryThe fox shirt has stolen my heart. Also the studded clutch and gloves. Not forget to mention that velvet pieces is going to be big this season. Christopher Bailey never disappoints me.

Day Twenty-five

The end of the year is coming. I've been thinking of all that I have experienced through the year. I had many up and down moments. Well this is life and I go on as I have for many years doing my own thing, going to school, making new friends and enjoying the sunny sunshine each day or the clear skies on rare occasions that I see it, broke something, I made my mom angry, got a good mark, got a bad mark, watching new movies, listening to new artist, going to places, learning new approaches and doing new things or repeating some old ones. Whether good or bad, I am grateful for everything that has happened to me. Someone say that it is not what you have but what you do with what you have that counts. Merry Christmas and have a joyful holiday season everyone!

Had a lunch with Vitacimin at Ta Wan with other fellow bloggers yesterday. It made me remember when I was a small kid-my mother always has Vitacimin in her bag that I would steal and eat many of it. I love sour everything, so I love these vitamin C tablets. And It help get me through the rest of the flu season. Anyway the gathering was so much fun, so happy to meet many cool friends. Vitacimin really knows that the essential things we need to stay healthy and alive are friends, vitamins and a good time.

I have always been waiting for this event. Its a retail concept that is held several times per year in different locations. It's a place where we can find a lot of cool and unique stuffs from talented local designers as well as you also can find some fine international labels such as Cheap Monday, Melissa shoes, Nike, Vans, Polaroid, even Marshall headphones. Since I didn't have much time to prepare the costume. During the last hour before Nylon Halloween Party, I decided to wear this cannibal cooking school apron from the Balletcats with axe as the accesories and put some fake blood all over my face and shirt. But the highlight was went to McDonald's at the end of the night and made people wince or probably lost their appetite. Anyway, Happy Halloween everybody!

Just got back from Nikicio Mixte Le Printemps fashion show. The collection was awesome, will post about it later. I'm wearing white oxford shirt from Muji, houndstooth blazer from (X)S.M.L, Dannjyo Hiyoji pants and Melissa shoes. Being upset with my camera lens, it so hard to focus recently, I don't know what's wrong with it. Almost all the pictures on my camera turn out so blurry. Thinking about finding a new lens. Any recommendation?

This is what I wore on the last weekend. Went out for brightnin' after a tiring week. So me and my partner drove to Benton Junction. An outdoor dining place with New England style. Instantly in love with this place, which make me forget that I'm still in Jakarta area. They also have live music at night. We really did have a good time. How's yours?

Sunny Sunday

Went out on Sunday to eat sushi for lunch and watch the last series of Harry Potter. I chose a comfy combo and put the red beanie for color touch. The Deathly Hallows Part 2 itself was an epic finale for the saga. So sad that the story has finally come to an end, because I grew up with the books and movies. Well, everything must come to an end someday. No matter what, Harry Potter will always be one of my favorite childhood memories.

I'm purely happy today. My Mom did a cookout and my lover came over and bought me this fabolous gift. A pair of Doctor Martens boots! I've been craving for these shoes for sometime. I feel blessed that I am still surrounded by lovely people. Thank you for making my birthday so wonderful. Oh and not forget to thank you guys for your support on my previous post.
