SUMMARY: This kid from here in San Antonio will be a solid #5 or Long relief A in the Bigs. with great control ,good splits and three M L pitches he should do well. Lack of velocity on his fastball is his only flaw.

Aromano's opinion: SP Bob Leon out of High School from San Antonio, TX: Despite my pre-draft scouts reviews projecting him with better stamina, control and splits this pitching prospect will be in my rotation in 3-4 seasons. He has very good mid-70's splits,good control in the 80's, an excellent A++ curveball (97) and tremendous durability for a starter. His only problems are slightly lower stamina than I like for a SP and perhaps more importantly a very poor fly ball to ground ball ratio.Hopefully his excellent patience will allow him to quickly get over the number of gopher balls he'll likely serve up.

Tacosluss's Take: Babe Weeks was someone we coveted quite a bit! He is a lethal hitting catcher with an outstanding arm.He has the durability both physically and mentally to handle the rigors of being an every day big league receiver. His only drawback is that he doesn't call a great game so his pitchers will have to rely on his bat to win some games....

ARomano's Opinion: C/DH Allie Poppell likely is not a good enough catcher to field the position and although I may try him at 1B he's destined to be a DH in my eyes,and a pretty good one at that. I normally like more power at that position but with mid-to-high 80's splits and contact and over 60's for power and batting eye he'll be very productive at the plate.His biggest problem may be that fellow season 9 draftee and pick #60 C/DH Joe Randall might end up the better hitter.

Unfortionately, I've spent next to nothing on my scouting depts. so I ended up with a little less than I hoped. But, he still could be a fine ML 2B if he gets close to his projected #s.

Hello Aromano Fans ,this is Madmuldoon . I volunteered to interview this new owner as a favor to I B Lyon. It seems he is in jail on sexual harrasment charges , Details are sketchy ,but it has to do with ZZ Top and some old movie!!
Anyways I Traveled to beautiful Cleveland Ohio to meet with Sean 32165. I walked into the Terrace at Jacobs Fields and Sean was just returning from one of the best buffets I've seen. He had his plate stacked with Ribs, Wings and assorted fried foods. I sat down and ordered a plate of Teriyaki Skewers and duck spring rolls. I asked Sean . "Can you tell us a little about yourself"? he wiped the crumbs from his lips and said. "As you can tell from my username, my name is Sean. I'm probably older than most of the players at this game. I'm 45. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and my wife and I now live in Lancaster, Ohio, which is 30 miles SE of Columbus.

I have been a Cleveland Indians fan since I was 2-1/2. I joke that it's a "genetic disorder"! My dad took me to my first game in the fall of 1967. He caught a foul ball during a Yankees-Tribe game (Tribe won, 4-1). He managed to get the entire 1967 Tribe team to sign it! The ball is with him in Cleveland.
None of my favorite players are still with the team. I've always really liked Andre Thornton, Mike Hargrove, Omar Vizquel, and Jim Thome. The Tribe was foolish for firing Hargrove and practically "dismantling" the team in the early 2000's! (Just my opinion!)

Some of my favorite moments would have to include games I went to with my dad. The first game I got to see live at Jacob Field (with my wife and stepdaughter) is certainly a favorite memory. The other two favorite memories I have of being at Jacob Field include the 2001 Game 3 17-2 shelling of the Seattle Mariners (of course the Tribe couldn't finish the deal) and the 2007 Game 4 7-3 ALCS victory over the Boston Red Sox (and we all know how that series ended!).
I guess I should probably give you some quick "bio" info, too. I work in Columbus, Ohio, for the Ohio EPA. I've worked for this state agency for 19 years now. Since I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, I'm also a second-year law student, which I am doing online through the California School of Law, based in Santa Barbara, California.

Man Sean , Perhaps one day your tribe can win it all . I know how that feels being a Rangers fan for decades and never sealing the deal.Your lucky you bought a team that had a longtime owner. Hello again , I B Lyons reporting for Aromano News. I am in Renton ,Washington to visit one of several new owners. The guy I'm here to meet is Barney1974 ,who bought the St louis Sluggers.He immediatly moved this team to Seattle and named them the Fandago Orangutans.
I met up with Barney1974 at the Slap and Tickle Strip Joint on the outskirts of Renton. He was sitting at a table with a petit blond glued to his lap. I pulled out a chair and plopped down opposite him. He shoved a wad of cash in the cuties g-string and slapped her taunt bottom as she moved to the next table.Barney said ."Whats up Mr Lyons, welcome to my home away from home" I thanked him and asked . "tell our readers something about yourself?" he downed a double scotch and replied. " i'm always up for 15 minutes of fame! My name is barney (like the dinosaur) but don't ask me to sing the song.
36 now and feeling older and older each day. i live near Seattle and unfortunately that means the mariners are my favorite team. Favorite players from the past include Ken Griffey Jr and Edgar Martinez. Current ones are Mark Hendrickson, who I used to play against in baseball, basketball, etc. while growing up.

He is the new owner of the Indianapolis Rounders.We met at his favorite hangout, The Mexican Village Resurant. He was sitting at a table with a plate of El Tejano Burritos. I sat down while he licked the plate and smiled with a sour cream mustache. I asked him ? How did you come by this HBD team? He started sawing into his Milanesas A La Mexicana Steak and said. " Well Jmayhew really didn't want this team anymore and i was able to win it in a Late night game of texas hold'em. Thats why I called them the Rounders." Yea , i saw that movie with Ed Norton and Matt Damon. I especially liked John Malkovich's Russian Part. But back to you and your team. What can you tell us about your background? He slid the empty plate to the side and tackled a bowl of French Fried Ice Cream while talking. "My name is Anthony Slusser. I am 39 years old and love baseball. I live in Detroit and have been a frustrated Tiger fan all my life. I always prefer pitching, defense, and speed as the way to build a club. Watching the Twins do it year after year gets frustrating. The Tigers like to put a big, slow, home run, strike out, type team which kills me.

Some of my favorite old time players are Barry Larkin, Ricky Henderson, Harrold Reynolds, Pudge Rodgriguez, and Randy Johnson. The 2010 Tigers do have some of my current favorites like Austin Jackson, Cabrera, Boesch, Verlander, Zumaya, and Valverde.

With a Sauce covered hand he motioned me to sit. And with a mouthfull of Pulled pork and Sausage he said. " Hmf..Wuf Youf Whant.." So I replied . Tell us in ARomano about yourself? Just then a Pig Salad and a Slab of Ribs arrived. So in between bites and burps Player said." My name is Jason. From Kansas City. My favorite team is the Royals. God forbid. I am 24 Graduated from Missouri. I am currently enroling into grad school and will start at Oxford. Decided to give this a try in the meantime. Figured what better to do with $15. And if I win and like it, better to be an addict to this than to start up drinking. and cheaper too. Blue Sox put Sleepers to Bed!

Kansas City- The Kansas City Blue Sox are World Series Champions! John Melton pitched seven spectacular innings to help the Blue Sox sweep the over matched Scottsdale Sleepers with a 8-3 win Monday night in Kansas City.

The victory gave the Blue Sox their second World Series title in their short history.

"I don't think anybody in uniform didn't do something in the post-season. Everyone did," Kansas City manager JB01 said. "The defence was great. The pitching was great. Timely hitting. The best bench & bullpen I've had in a long time. They just refused for us to lose."

Edwardo James received World Series most valuable player honours after going 1-for-2 with two runs scored in game 4, and 12 runs batted in the playoffs.

James also hit two home runs in the Blue Sox' victory in Game 3.

Written off by many observers after winning just 108 games in the regular season and limping into the playoffs on the heels of a late-season surge, many "experts" believed the Blue Sox to be a product of a week division. No one thought they would make it too the World Series.

"No one believed in us, but we believed in ourselves," James said.

The Blue Sox also increased the talk that the National League was vastly superior to the American League by easily defeating the AL champion Sleepers, who came into the World Series as the highest scoring team in the majors.

"We didn't play well enough," Sleepers manager Ostad said. "There's no excuse here. They just out hit us and out pitched us. We held our on on defense at least."

The Blue Sox Nation celebrated their championship on Tuesday with a parade down Main Street. With the party lasting well into the night, many party goers were fortunate enough to see the entire team streak naked through the streets screaming "WE ARE FAMILY!"

The Nightmare will face the Blizzard in the first round and with this teams good pitching staff coupled with the blizzards lack of offense. Give the edge to Richmond.

So they will rely on there pitching and defese to win. Pitchers to watch are Max Lee and Vinny Trammell. Key hitters will be Emil Morales and Danys Ramirez. It will be tough for the Blizzard to overcome thier lack of run support, but the playoffs are a crap shoot.
