¡Hola! (Spanish word for Hello) is also the name of the Spanish magazine which is the counterpart of the American Hello magazine. My female employer bought one, so I was able to read and look for free once again, hehehe.

I soo love Emma Watson´s new look. I want to have the same hairstyle since my college days, but I didn´t go for it coz I have a round shaped face and I am sure I wouldn´t look good with it.

My new female employer is also a fashionista, she didn´t tell me, but I just can tell by the clothes she wear and the collection of magazines that she has. There´s a lot in the kitchen cabinet and others were already thrown away coz they won´t fit the cabinet anymore.:) She´s very update and one of the proofs? She already had the Rabat Magazine - Winter 2012 (Spain edition) issue last November or early December in one of her travels to Madrid or Germany, I am not sure already.

You can visit Rabat´s site at: http://www.rabat.net and read the magazines online thru pdf format. I already tried it and it´s cool coz it´s like flipping the actual magazine, only online. :) Go and try it!

I love reading and looking at magazines, so I am so lucky here coz I don´t have to buy one very often coz I can read and look at them for free.:)

Belated happy new year everyone! Hope that you had a super grand celebration with your family and friends. I had an awesome one with my closest friends (who are already like family to me) here in Barcelona.

I am excited for all the things that 2012 will bring. I want to do a lot of things this year and blogging more is one. I just check te pagerank of this blog a while ago and to my surprise, it´s already:

Ohhh what a shame! It´s been 5 months already since my last post.:( But anyways, I´m back and I wanna wish you a Merry, Merry Christmas! Hope that you´ll all have a super nice celebration with your family and friends.

Anyways, I bought 2 mags on the first week of December, early Christmas gifts for myself, hehehe. I bought Glamour and Elle (Spain edition). The Glamour mag came with a free organizer for 2012 (something that I missed the other year due to my changeable mind, grrrrrrrr - I will blog about it on another post) and the Elle mag came with an Elle Decor issue. I bought Elle coz it´s Irina Shayk on the cover ( the gf of my super idol, CR7) and she´s all covered in Swarovski crystal. I saw last year´s edition with Elsa Pataky.

Merry Christmas once again and enjoy the holidays!

I stumbled into her blog a month ago, through Ate Ai´s blog post "Current Inspiration". I visited all the links that she shared there and Divine Lee is one of the sites that I keep on visiting since then. I am already addicted to her fashion, humor and beckiness. But most of all, it´s her humility that I admire the most. I just can´t believe that despite being a celebrity and super famous, her feet are still very much flattened on the ground.:) And why did I say I am already addicted? because I visit her site everyday and not only once, but many times a day to check her new posts. Ganyan na ako ka loka and everytime I visit, her posts make me smile and increase my becky vocabulary as well, hehehe. Mother becky, you´re one of my pegs na! Kalurkeyyy, nag open talaga ako ng lookbook account and logged in to my twitter account again after ages of abandonment just to follow you, kalurkeyyy ever talaga!

Gracious, goodness! I can´t believe that I abandoned this site for 5 months now, what a shame! grrrrrrrrrrr. I have a lot of stuffs related to fashion that I wanted to share and write here, but I got busy and lazy. grrrrrrrr. I just started a new job and I am attending a lot of activities in our community and in the Church. I just bought a copy of Elle Magazine for February, Spain edition in the afternoon and the major attraction that made me decide to grab a copy is the free 7ml Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair.:) I´ve been thinking about it for 2 weeks now and finally I decided to give it a try. I want to try the cream in the hope of making the pimple scars less obvious.:) The mag also comes with 2 more freebies: Elle Love Book 2011 and Nuevo Estilo magazine. So, I´ve got a total of 4 items for my 3.50€. Not a bad buy at all.:)

I saw this Elle mag 2 weeks ago in the magazine rack of my employer and I so loved it coz it comes with a red Elle organizer that´s super nice and sexy. I was hoping that the employer will give the organizer to me coz last year, she gave the free Telva organizer to me coz she won´t be using it. But she didn´t give the organizer to me and it was not in the table anymore. So, maybe she gave it to someone else or she´s using it in her new office.

Been looking for the mag in a lot of magazine stands, but I wasn´t able to find one. huhuhu. It´s really my fault coz I´ve been acting so stupid 2 Mondays ago, during my day-off. I went to a magazine stand near my boarding house and I was happy coz they still have Elle January 2011 with the free organizer. But I ended up not buying coz I was thinking of looking for another mags with a free organizer since I already read and saw the magazine in my employer´s place. There were other mags with free organizers, but I didn´t go for one of them coz the organizers were not that nice as that of Elle. And then evening came and I totally forgot about it and just said that I will just buy one the following weekend since I am already decided that I want the Elle organizer. The weekend came and I checked the mag stand once again and they don´t have an Elle January copy anymore. huhuhu. I was really screaming inside for missing it. I looked in other mag stands and I didn´t find a single copy.

Just this afternoon, I went to 2 mag stands near the school of my alagas and they don´t have it too. I asked the clerk for an Elle January issue and he said that there´s no more stock already since it´s already the February issues that are out now. arggggggggg. It´s really a major arggggggg. I so hate myself for not buying it the first time I saw the mag. I learned my lesson now and I will always be in pain everytime I remember the super pretty Elle organizer. I think I just have get a decent organizer this weekend and hope that it will be a bit similar to the Elle one. Hayyy!

The winter sale here in Barcelona started on January 7, right after the 3 Kings and it´s always like that every year. And all stores are open during the first Sunday of the sale month. Every store has "sale, rebajas, rebaixas" posters and for a shopaholic like me, it´s really a dangerous thing.:) One of my goal for 2011 is to refrain from buying things that I don´t really need coz I still have a lot of stuffs that I haven´t use since the day I bought them. Arggg. And cleaning my closet is another goal. I will send a balikbayan box to my family back home and I want to give away a lot of my stuffs and only keep what´s necessary and those that I am really using. But back to the sale thing, I thought it´s only here in Barcelona that the sale is going on, but I was wrong coz it´s the same in the online shops at all. I checked the other day and most online stores are on sale as well.

I was off from work on Monday and I was window shopping in the afternoon. I was looking for a good item to give the bf on his birthday. But i wasn´t able to find one. I also looked in the online shops in the evening and I found this very cool Michael kors jacket and I so liked it for the bf.

Bytheway, I found this cool jacket at www.bluefly.com. It´s an online shop for men and women and they have everything that both genders need from shoes, handbags & accessories, fragrance,etc. And one more cool thing is that they have products from different famous designers in the industry today like CK, Chanel, cole haan , Jimmy Choo, Fendi, Gucci, French Connection, Marc Jacobs and many more. I already bookmark their site for easier shopping next time.:)

Ohhh I so want this butter sport suede ´Zwick´ loafers from stuart weitzman coz it´s so cool and coz it´s yellow. Yes, my yellow addiction will never change, ever.:)

I love reading fashion magazines, but I don´t buy them.:) I´ll just read them when I get the chance. And here in Barcelona, I am lucky coz my female employer is into reading fashion mags as well.:) So, I just borrow it from her or just take it from the mag bag in the living room and return it afterwards. We are here in the winterhouse and they also have fashion mags here and yes, they are up-to-date. I´m already done flipping the pages of the Vanity Fair Jan. 2011, Spain edition and Angelina Jolie is in the cover. I will look at it again tomorrow coz I want to see the photos in broad daylight. I usually read a mag from cover to cover, but I can´t do that here coz it´s in Castellano and my Castellano is very poor, so it´s useless if I will read it from cover to cover coz I won´t understand most if it anyway. I´ll just satisfy myself by looking at the fashion photos.:)

Hello everyone, happy 2011!

Finally, after almost 8 months from my last post here, I am back and hopefully for good.:) I have been so busy with work and activities in the community and in the Church, plus I´ve been attacked by laziness, too. That´s why it was so difficult for me to update this blog. But I want a good start this 2011. I want this year to be a productive one for me in all aspects, including blogging. I love shoes, just like dresses and belts.:) But I don't buy expensive pairs which means that I don't have a lot of pairs with signature names. And besides, I am not after the shoe brands too, as long as I like the shoes and I'm comfortable with them, then I'll go and buy them.

Of all the shoes that I have, I only have 3 pairs with signature names (levi's, diesel, TH). And I got all 3 pairs from my favorite shoe store here in Barcelona, Bonpreus. It's a catalan word for Good price (not sure though).:) I'm glad that one of my friends told me about the store. The store is selling branded shoes in a very low price coz the shoe sizes are either very small or very big. It's just a matter of luck, hehehe.

My last visit to the store was indeed a lucky one coz the last pair of Tommy Hilfiger shoes was my size and I only paid 10€ for it. I went home so happy and the ates were so envious of my new Th shoes. hehehe.

Dress O' Rama Spain

I've been a regular customer of Dress O' Rama (DOR). It's an online store (in facebook) owned by my virtual friend, Ma'am Rose, a fellow Boholana who works as an english university professor in Bangkok. She loves fashion and we always tease her to make fashion into a science, hehehe.

And to save us from expensive shipping charges, she decided to open Dress O' Rama Spain, so she can send the dresses directly here in Spain instead of us buying the dresses from the Philippines. And she asked me to be her partner for DOR Spain and without a lot of thinking, I said yes coz I wanted this since then.:) I love fashion and dressing up too.

But since everthing went fine, so we settled for Dress O' Rama Spain. :) We had our dry run opening on April 12 at 11pm and the official opening on April 19 (11pm) and so far, so good! :)

Hey yo, I know it's been a long time that I haven't been here, but I'm back and ready to blog about fashion once again.:) Anyways, I've been thinking about a catchy fashion store name since the morning. I'll be opening an online fashion store soon in collaboration with my very good friend, a fashion guru, based in Thailand. I already have some names in my mind, but I am still thinking and surfing for one that will stand out from the other choices. How about you, do you have a catchy fashion store name in mind? I have a confession to make: I am already broke right now coz I had a shopping spree during my first Monday day off (February 1). :) I was the only one who had the day off that day (among the 4 roommates), so I went shopping all alone and I enjoyed it a lot. And the end result: I end up spending 100 Euro in just one day and my allowance for the month of February is almost done and the end of the month is still 2 weeks from now. Grrrrrrrrr! I know, I really have to control my love for shopping, if not, I'll really end up very broke!

I'm gonna show the items that I bought here, but I'll do it one-at-a-time and I still have to take photos of the items, to when, I don't know yet. You know, I am busy at the moment and lazy too, hehehe.

Winter sale in Barcelona!

The winter sale here in Barcelona is still on going! It started a day after 3 Kings. Every store here have the catching and colorful "rebajas (in Castellano) or rebaixes (in Catalan) " words on their walls. The sale is up to 70% and there's a lot of nice items to buy. I am into clothes, shoes and bags and there's a lot on sale. Oh boy, I am so eager to go shopping, but too bad and I don't have much time.:( My work schedule here in BCN is so crazy, not like in Denmark and Norway that I am already off on Friday afternoons. Here, I work 'til Saturday afternoon and I do attend Spanish class at 5pm, so I don't have much time left for shopping and roaming around.

Hope that I'll have some spare time this weekend, so I can purchase the things that I'm planning to buy.

Forgive me for not updating this blog for 6 months now.:( I have been so busy with work and with my extra curricular activities during the weekend. I haven't forgotten about this blog though, and I keep on thinking about updating it one day. And finally, that day has come already and I'm so glad. :)

I have a lot of shopping and fashion stories to share and I just hope that I'll find enough time to write them all here. But definitely, I'll do my best to keep posting here, atleast one or twice a week.

Welcome to my newly retouched blog! I have been planning to change and give a new look to each of my blogs for almost 1 month now. But due to my hectic sched, I was not able to do it right away. But I did it slowly and as of now, I already changed 3 of my blogs.:)

I also bought a new domain for this blog with a new title "Shopaholic Fashionista"! And I think this is a good title coz it describes me a bit,hehehe. I love fashion and shopping too:). I will share to you my shopping adventures here in Spain and good finds in the net and anything that's related to fashion and shopping.

Argggg, it has been so hot here lately and I kept on sweating almost all day.grrrrrrrrrrrr! And it´s not even summer here officially, so what more when the official summer comes? Grrrrrrrrrrr! My friends who already experienced summer here said that summer here is hotter than Pinas. Ohh my, how frustrating! Good thing about the warm weather though is that I keep on sweating and it means that my system is burning fats more than the usual. So it´s like taking one of the fat burners available in the market, hhehehe. I´ll just told myself about it, so I won´t feel so bad about fanning myself every now and then,:)

Yohoo, I had fun last weekend together with my friends. As agreed the weekend before, we went to "Pasa - Pasa", a Filipino restaurant in Barcelona with a Videoke. It´s named "pasa2x" due to the act of passing the microphone to the next person who will be singing:). The guys wanted to be there at 8pm, but we end up going there at around 12 and we walked all the way from the house, so we finally arrived at around 1am. And I know the guys were so disappointed about it. Now they know that girls are never on time,hehehe. There were only few costumers, so we got a lot of chance to sing. The guys shocked us coz we thought that they are shy guys. But we were wrong coz they´re never shy when it comes to singing,hehehe. We had so much fun and we went home at 4am. One thing is for sure, we are going there often,hehehe.

Argggg, so frustrating coz all my "ates" noticed the weight gain.:( Yes, I gained weight last week, though it didn´t go back to the old 56 kg., but a gain is really noticeable since the tummy is bulging bigger than the usual,hehehe. My fault coz I was getting careless in my food intake knowing that I already lost weight and that I am already 52 kg. Argggggg. And this week, I am back to my dieting and more careful in my eating habits. I hope the "ates" won´t tell me anymore that I am still gaining weight,hehehe. No need to take diet supplements coz the situation is still manageable,hehehe.

I haven´t had any entertainment last week (aside from my internet connection) and I think, it will be the same case this week.:( I have been so tired from the moving that we did and I don´t have energy to read or blog hop,etc. All I want is to sleep during my free time. Last night, I slept at 10:30pm without even bothering to open my lappy, the very first time in history since I got my usb net connection,hehehe.

I already moved to a new house together with my roommates and the owners of my old boarding house (a couple). The couple found a new place near La Rambla and it was 5x bigger than the house in Barceloneta. They decided to transfer and we are so glad about it. Aside from having a lot of space now, the house is also located in the center of Barcelona, near all the shopping centers and supermarkets. So, it means that my budget is in trouble,heheheh. But we really like it a lot coz it´s also very near the Church and the train station. So, we don´t have to hike far in going to church and we don´t have to pay for the bus everytime we go window shopping:)

We finally moved to the house on Saturday, after a weekend of moving boxes, huge plastic bags, cabinets, foams, kitchen utensils and many more. Moving to a new place is indeed very tiring, so hopefully, no more moving in the future.:)

No energy for entertainment....

Yes, I don´t have the energy for entertainment this week. I felt so tired and drained after moving to our new boarding house last weekend. Our landlady and landlord found a new place near La Rambla and we moved with them. We all love the place coz it´s 5x bigger than the old place and we are all excited. During the weekend, we moved most of our things there and thanks to our brother and sisters in CFC-FFL Barcelona who helped us with our moving coz without their help, moving would be impossible. We moved a lot of things and it took 4 trips for the van we hired to movew all the things.

We already arranged the living room of the new house, but the rooms are still messy. We still have few things in the old house and we will be sleeping in the new house on Sunday already. I am already so excited to arrange my things in my new room:)
