Our client, an education service business is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join their PMO and take ownership of a critical ongoing project.

In role you will work with other key members of the team, providing key project control activities to ensure that the projects time, budget and quality targets are achieved and Phase 1 is successfully delivered.

Working with the PMO Lead, Project Director, Work Package Leads and a third party software developer you will maintain the master schedule (MS Project) and associated project controls to ensure that all risks are identified and managed.

As the hub, you will be responsible for effective communication of plans, tracking of progress, RAID logging and mitigation plans should they be required.

You will have a demonstrable successful track record of experience in project management. Some experience within the education, training or assessment sector would be useful but not essential.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

As the pandemic hopefully recedes, it is likely that we will have more time in the office, but substantial flexibility and hybrid working will remain our policy and approach.

Experience Project Manager required for an 6 month Fixed Term assignment with my client who operates in the food production sector, to provide maternity cover during an exciting growth period for the business.

Reporting to the Head of Projects you will join a team tasked with delivering innovation and change to the business. Specifically, you will take on the position of main interface with the subcontractor delivering a multi-million-pound construction project as well as other smaller capital expenditure projects associated with the commissioning of this new manufacturing facility.

As a project manager you will have demonstrable experience of full lifecycle management; taking ideas through to successful conclusions whilst managing risks and issues and reporting both progress and financial status back through the business.
