For the second consecutive year, Arrow ECS was honored with the Oracle PartnerNetwork Global Award for Value-Added Distributor of the Year in 2010.  Arrow ECS was selected for the award by Oracle’s worldwide alliances and channels management team based on the revenue growth it helped resellers achieve through robust enablement offerings focused on assisting resellers with becoming specialized and selling a larger cross-section of Oracle solutions.

CRN Top 100 Most Influential Executives of the Industry

Michael J. Long, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Arrow Electronics Inc., was named a “maverick” of the information technology channel in the Top 100 Most Influential Executives of the Industry, a listing produced by Everything Channel’s CRN.

CRN Top Women in the Channel 2010

Three executives from Arrow ECS were selected among the top women of the channel by CRN magazine.  Nancy Gapter, vice president of North American marketing for Arrow ECS, was named to CRN’s Power 100 Women in the Channel.  Dee Dee Lear, vice president of sales for the West region of Arrow ECS’ IBM group, and Mary Beth Edwards, director of inside sales for Arrow ECS’ HP group, were named to the magazine’s Top Women of the Channel list.

Howard Goldberg was listed as an industry newsmaker for “pioneer[ing] value-added distribution in Canada for more than a decade.”  Goldberg co-founded Skydata, which was acquired by Arrow ECS in 2006 and was the first to bring the EMC storage line to Canadian resellers.
