Had a great Saturday morning providing a workshop for 22 Penang business owners. The topic was how to Make More Money in 2012.

After the 3-hour workshop each business owner was equipped with Effective, Efficient and Economical strategies & tactics, tailored to their individual businesses, that can be easily followed and will provide the desired results. I will be following up with all of them to track their progress, as “what gets measured can be managed”.

Working to extend the workshop, and the results business owners can achieve, to others in Penang.

A new year, an improved website.

No doubt the use of social media for business is growing, which I’ve seen first hand. Personally I’ve been contacted for marketing assistance by having a presence on both LinkedIn and ecademy. It’s great when prospective clients can check you out before contacting you! However for many business owners it’s a challenge knowing where to start and how much effort to allocate to this marketing opportunity.

So, one of my main focus areas for 2012 is to help business owners utilise the power of social media as a marketing tool from my own practical experience and successes.
