Mornin all!

As we stated in our previous posts Arsenal lacked the exact tactics that we need to win off the games. The best thing to do when your defense is not reliable is to make the attack so solid that the defenders automatically defend with purpose.

Putting RVP alone in the enemy's territory is wasting him as Bergkamp said. Arsenal need a player right behind him. Both the wingers, Walcott and Gervinho have great pace, they can score to but they are not seasoned strikers. Walcott proclaims to be a striker but if we see his game he plays better off as a midfield winger who can attack from flank and cross in the ball for RVP to score. But that happens once in a blue moon.

To fully utilize RVP if Wenger put Oxlade right his back or Park Chu young than that would double the potential of the captain. I'm amazed that Arsenal bought in Park Chu Young for him to rest in every game and wait for RVP to get injured and then he'll be getting his play call.

Not only RVP has to deal full line pressure, the recent link with Manchester City has further burdened the player. We do have our playmaker Arteta and Ramsey at the back but they are better off in the mid line. They are attacking midfielders but the problem his they are not strikers. And for finishing you need a striker.

Unless we do that we won't be seeing RVP reaching to his true potential which we direly need at this moment. Bergkamp is currently coaching a Dutch team. In his interview he also stated that he wanted to go to England and that he urged Vierra to go back to Emirates. It is really good to see that our old Gunners are trying to do something for us.

We believe in Wenger, I do and I know you all do but the loss of Fabregas and Nasri has left us so vulnerable that we are losing too much of a game. Our team is getting disbanded. With injuries on the rise and Sagna breaking his leg things are getting more dire. But one good new is that Diaby and Vermaelen will be available. Right now Vermaelen is the player we need the most. I would also say it again that Oxlade must be given a chance and a regular game in EPL he can perform so good and his recent form speaks itself.

The fans are surely getting tired of weekly loses. We are fully backing Arsenal but its time that Arsenal back us too and do something about their transfer policies. As a club you can not give the excuse of not having money. You are one of the elites of EPL and when you talk like this, all you do is make the fans more disappointed and lose their trust in the administration.

All and all change has to come to Arsenal sooner than later and I would say change should be in the form of Wenger's thinking and tactics, Club management and transfer policies and finally in the form of performance on the field!

No more team criticism. Constructive, destructive, I don't care. Yes we have a long injury list. Yes, we have not won anything for 6 years. Yes, we are having our worst season. Yes, our star players are leaving with RVP trying to be latest on the list. Yes! everything is in worst shape at the club.
But what about what we have? what about what we are giving to this world? What about what we are contributing towards the premier league? towards the world football? towards the entertainment of a kid that is sitting thousand miles in another part of the world and all?
Sorry guys just wanna put something emotional to get you moving for the game! and it is on guys! We are going to White Hart Lane to fight some strong contestants. The Spurs, well this team does reminds us a lot about last year's misery match. Yup winning 2-0 than lost 3-2 and that is in Emirates. So its really on this time. It all depends upon whether our side got the fire of revenge in themselves or whether the Spurs will yet again be looking to create some more mess for the Gunners and put their revival chain back in the bucket.
It all depends on this weekend's match peeps. Arsenal would be looking to enter in to the first 10 if they get to win this one while Spurs will be looking to push them more back in to the table.

Possible Line ups:
Kocielny is injured so he won;t be playing probably but we have to wait and see that. Song will be playing and Arshavin would be coming afterwards. But what I want to see is that guy Oxlade playing along side RVP. He deserved that!

I am sure Wenger won't give Oxlade the start but he must do that no matter what. The guy got so good finishing , the thing that our team lacked for so many years. Playing beautifully won't matter unless you finish beautifully. Wenger is a beauty lover being a French :p Fergi is a Basher being a Scottish. Don't know about the rest. But this is not art. Our boss must understand and play Oxlade right from the front. I forgot Song in the formation :p so sorry guys. Actually this is what I want the team to look like. Yes we can substitute Song in after getting a good start or an early goal. Or we could play Song first then bring in Arshavin later. Attacking is important in this game.
Spurs won't be giving too many chances. Their attack is strong. If we relied on our back than we are getting pounded. The game will include many scores because both the teams got poor defense to be honest. And the game will be deicided on whose defense will play better on the day. Obviously we want Arsenal's but its White Hart Lane so lets just not get ahead of ourselves.
Player to Watch:
The contest will be a competitive one. I am sure of this. Gunners could struggle in the beginning. Arteta should seriously step more up in this game. This is the real test of Arsenals new signings now. I don't think Bale would pose a lot of problem having Sagna to control him. And Sagna is our best defender at the moment. Van Persie is looking dangerous now. His moral will be way up after the last game but will he be able to ignite the fire, we will have to wait and see that.
Now the guy we should be afraid of is that Chelsea prospect Modric. He is unpredictable when he attacks. That not it , we got a new threat as well, the X gunner will be looking to prove himself to Wenger what he had lost. And his current form could pose him a threat. Kocielny defending against Defoe? well that is a big gamble but what can we do we don't have any one else :p On the other hand Kocielny might not be playing due to injury. If that happened than I wonder what will happen. Squillachi is also out by the way. Arsene would probably be playing his third choice but we will have to see that. Szczesny will have to be a lot more alert this time. He should keep up his consistency. But I feel bad for this guy for not having a solid defense in front of him masks a lot of his potential.

My Prediction: Well I see a draw here or a Gunner win but most probably it could be 2-2 draw. With Spurs leading and Arsenal getting late equalizer. I RVP and Adebayour scoring for sure in this game. I seriously expect this line up next year when we will be getting our show stoppers back. We must also get Cahill because to be honest Mertesacker, yes a good defender but he needs time to settle at Arsenal and we need trophies. This wait looks never ending the way we are dealing things. Any ways The 4-4-1-1 formation could provide a real good game play for the gunners. All we need is our injured players back, a new signing and our manager to realize that we need to change some tactics now!

Weekends for football! :p So, as I watch the CL game of Arsenal I would like to share some random thoughts of mine. Here we go.A good defense is a good offence (thanks to Wenger who taught me this). If I be a football club manager, the first thing I will do is I will buy some solid defense. To have a solid defense you don't need to be all powerful club. You can be down level club as they have many good defenders too. Then to reach the top you strengthen on wards to mid field till you make something brilliant. So lets see what we can make of Arsenal. How to improve it.
Ermm first thing off i'll get Cahill into the back line. SZ is a great goal keeper , all he needs is a good solid defense. Indeed its about defense for so many years now. Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with the club. Why do we never buy big names. Its a great thing to have a great youth system but why to rely totally on youth and screw the experience in the team. And then one day when you found yourself going down you do a quick marketing at the dead line day and bring in some new players. Of these transfers I only like Arteta's. The rest well they look the same as others to be honest.
Ohh there you go Olympiacos just hit the post. I'm watching the game as well. Pretty rough defensively. I wonder whats stops us from defending good. Things I feel that lack in us is a basic aim to win. Yup we lack our want to win every game we got at our hands. Its 1 am in night here in Pakistan. Football does gets you crazy. I could watch Arsenal for like constantly for hours. Its an addiction. A drug that does not have any harmful effects. Its random stuff people. I want to write about the game I am seeing but all I can get from the game is the same old Arsenal good at attack, good in possession, nightmare when it comes to defending.
You might have noticed that I have stopped writing matches review. The sole reason to this is after every game all I could feel is that our back is pathetic. Even a small gap in of the lines can disrupt your whole game plan and discipline of players.
It takes just one goal to decrease the moral by 70% (my own estimate). For us it is a bit higher. The latest news is that Arsenal will going to sign Gary Cahill in winter. Robin Van Persie, well the way he put down the contract talks, the guy must be thinking some thing and that some thing could not be all go for the club. And once he will leave we will blame the player and all. In an article I learned that if you want to stop something to happen you have to start something opposite to it. Arsenal hasn't even came out of the blow that was given to us by the Nasri's and Fab transfer that this news shattered the heart of many.
I wonder how its like to be a football manager. You got to control so many things. I would love to take over Arsenal lol. Would make my dream team out of it. I think all this is more than random things about Arsenal. So we will be coming off soon with better articles guys. goodnight! and I'm sure Gunners will snatch a victory , if not than I more than sure it would be our defense fault :p

As a football fan, one imagines a lot when it comes to the team he is fan of. Now being a Gunner is not easy. You have to go through so many emotional obstacles that surviving them is not easy> Once you do survive all those emotional moments , full of lighting shocks and poundings in your heart than you come out to be a true gunner. We have seen the happiest moments as well as the worst.
For last 6 years things have been more towards the worse than good to be honest. But even the smallest victories seems to be like winning a cup and even the minor of the defeats have haunted us so bad that all of us got a permanent scar of that hurt. If I talk about last year than the moments, i faced a lightning jolt struck me were first of the Carling cup defeat. The last minute goal shattered not only Wilshere but also the millions of Arsenal fans around the glob. Personally I was abusing Kocielny a lot that day :p.
Next in my list is the defeat at the hands of Barca at Camp Nou. When we got the away goal their which was their own goal, I was dancing with life but when that little fellow Messi there and Xavi , and the way Barca attacked after that I was sure that it will be a matter of time now. But was praying so hard. Alas! it happened two goals in a matter of minutes and RVP getting a red. I found myself biting my nails of my hands at that moment and when the whistle blew, the whole world around me shattered.
Yes we have always been in to the group stages of Champions league for like many years now. UEFA matches bring a lot of enthusiasm in the fans because the best thing about them is that they are in a mid week and so no more boring week days. And things get even better when you see your team win!
Keeping aside the bad moments I also had a lot of "high above the skies" feelings, being a Gunner. The first one came when we defeated Barca at Emirates. Now that was a match worth watching! I was watching the match with my brother who is a die hard Man united fan and was making fun of our defense as how easily Barca pound us in our own home. My heart was burning at that moment but deep inside I knew he is right. After all we were being attacked every moment and had almost no possession. Watching the Barca take the lead, i didn't panic much because I knew that things will change. The way Arsenal's fan backed the team at Emirates that was worth watching. And it came in the second half RVP stunner. That was one of the best moments of my life! and I'm sure every Gunner in the world will be flying high like me at that moment. But the climax came afterwards when Nasri and Arshavin rolled forward. Classy finish by the Russian and my mind was blown off. That was the moment when tears came of ma eyes watching my team defeat the world champions. Few have had such moments in life. And i'm one of those lucky few.
The second high moment came when RVP struck again and this time it was against our biggest rivals the red Devils. Watching my brother mouth wide open when the goal came off was a sight worth millions lol. And i'm sure every Man united fan would be wondering that how can that be happening. Of course, we didn't get the trophy but it doesn't matter as long as you have moments like these.
So, being a Gunner is not easy, like Man u fans we don't get to celebrate trophies and wins and all. Yet we do get to back our club when it is down and that shows the real fan ship. For 6 years we are backing Arsenal. No doubt we have not won any thing during this time but this shows our real mettle and commitment towards our club and how much we owe Arsenal. We celebrate every single victory. We have the best moments as well as the worst but that is the best part as we get to enjoy the actual game of football. We get to criticize our club, watch deadline days extravaganzas. It all happens at Arsenal and nowhere else! and that is why
I AM A GUNNER! AND WILL ALWAYS BE ONE!

Reasons why Van Persie won't leave Arsenal

The contract of Arsenal's main striker Robin Van Persie will be coming to an end by next year summer. After that he will be of no value to the club. According to the latest news the club has already started negotiations with the captain. The latest team performance at home against Bolton showed that the experienced Dutch still holds a lot of potential.
And when we talk about potential, we talk about stalking. And yet again Manchester City is after another gunner to add to their clay models to show off the world how big the club is. Mario Balotelli, Aguero, Dzeko, Tevez and I have no idea how many more big names they got in their front line. I have no idea why that club loves spending without thinking. Its good you have all the money. But the important thing is where to spend it. On one hand they kept on chasing big strikers and on the other hand their main strikers who despite the fact are playing so well have to sit on bench and watch the game. Dzeko is the best example here. They bought this guy of millions and now he is resting on the bench while Aguero enjoys the spotlight. Keeping that apart we got the City main striker Tevez who has got some psychological problem at the club apart from not even having a chance to play this season.
And after all the miseries, the players are having at City , they just want more. So now they have their eyes on our main striker. Not only that they have already put forward a 30 million offer for the striker. Though I have no idea whats going on in Wenger's mind but if they fail to keep RVP, Arsenal would be in a lot of trouble. Much more than in what we are presently in. But I don't see this transfer happening, why? well;
1. RVP wants the game: This is for sure because he is in his 30s now. He has not got much time left. And he knows if he leave Arsenal not only he is losing the captain ship of a world class club but also he is losing the chance to play on the field. He knows that the sooner he steps in to the domain of city, he'll be given a bright spot on the "bench". Mancini is not getting Aguero out to put in RVP and that is for sure and I think the Dutchman will be aware of this fact.
2. Why leave when you have entered the 100's list: RVP scored his 100th for Arsenal against Bolton. The guy scored the higest number of goals last season in Premier league. He is at the top of his game now. And he is playing for Arsenal not some 2nd class club. There is no reason for him to leave the club.
3. Money is not the deal here: RVP is in the twilight of his career. Yes he can play great for many years but statistically he is now an experienced player. He wants the game more than money and stuff. Its the way players think when they get to certain age in their lives. We saw Nasri leaving after money or glory or whatever it is. That happened because the lad is young and ambititous. With time you lose such ambition when you reach a certain stage in life.
4. Your the boss mate: Indeed RVP is the boss on the field. He is the most experienced, he is playing brilliant, and most importantly he is the captain! A captain in which the team and especially the manager has started to believe, so I don't see why will he leave Arsenal.

Yes things where Arsenal are lacking is lack of silver ware. Players are leaving because club is not winning. The club is not paying enough. The club is not interested in keeping quality or buying quality. They are not showing and signs of improvement. This is the stuff that i read in many articles.
But the point is we are doing much more than that. Our main players are out injured. We have lost our key players this season. These are not excuses. These are facts that are eating all of us alive but we are facing them. Before every game we hope but after every game we believe! We might be losing the game but the chants of Arsenal! Arsenal! never dims down. And I'm sure every player on the field that we have now will play for us. We might not have the World's greatest but we sure have our's greatest!

Owen Coyle:"Wenger is and will always be one of the best in the world"

Regarding the buildup to the weekend's match of Bolton against Arsenal, Bolton's manager Owen Coyle rejected all the speculation regarding cold war between him and Wenger over the transfer saga of Gary Cahill.

He said: "I am a huge admirer of Arsene Wenger.Arsene Wenger is one of the best managers in world football, and always will be."

Arsene Wenger enjoys good relations with a lot of managers. We have heard sir Alex Ferguson praising Wenger and his work at Arsenal before and after the defeat at the hands of United. Immense pressure is on the French man, where by many fans are demanding openly that Wenger should be sacked. On the other hand there are a lot of people who are of the view that Wenger should not be sacked as there is no good replacement for him.

Though our polls got only 5 votes. We asked on our blog as whether Wenger should be sacked or not and 20% people that is he should not be sacked. It was a kind of mixed opinion poll and well thoughts of only 5 people, so couldn't be regarded as a poll anyway. So about the game now it is also reported that Wenger and the board came at cross roads when the talk of Nasri transffer was the issue. Wenger never wanted Nasri to leave where as the club wanted other wise and finalized the deal as soon as Man City placed their bid for the winger.

Regarding the tactics of Wenger, Coyle said:

"I feel he is the perfect fit for Arsenal though, given their history and tradition and the way they have evolved over the years."

Indeed, Wenger has done quiet a lot for the club but some of his moves didn't really work out. The introduction of a youth system is splendid but taking out the experience right from the roots of the clubs does hurt you when the time comes, and it did as we saw numerous times during the last 6 years we gave away the games right when it matters the most to win. last year is a great example. We threw away Carling cup and even premier league after losing vital games at home to minor clubs. If we keep thinking over the club's history than that would just leave us to a state of nostalgia and nothing else. We can not achieve by remembering the past. Yes, we can achieve by reviving the past. I should not say we evolved over the years. It has more of going to the down side rather than improving. We lost experience, we lost some great defenders and leaders and most of all we lost the spirit of winning.
Regarding the trophy drought and transfer window Coyle said:

"Yes, they would like a trophy, but look at the players he has brought to the club.Maybe if he had the same resources as other managers of the biggest clubs, you would see an Arsenal side with different personnel."

Obviously, we want to win trophies but owing to the recent set back that looks unlikely, but we are hopeful that things will changer sooner than expected for Arsenal. About the resources, well we are lacking them. Since arrival to the Emirates the club hasn't been very much stable when it comes to financial situations. But on the other hand if we look at Barcelona's side, they are in debt of millions but still they are running a successful club. They brought in big names even this year in the form of Fabregas. Moreover, we got approximately more than 90 million from the departure of our stars but spent less than half of it. Its the club's tactics in tranffer market that is hurting us more than the financial crisis. Januaray market would be a golden time for us to strengthen our defense. Lets see what that holds for us.

Player Ratings- Arsenal vs Shrewsbury Town- Chamberlain masked the defensive failures

We got to the next round and it is that what matters in the end but the defense showed its brittleness again as they looked shocking on the field getting pounded by a team that is two leagues below them. Arsenal started well with few good tries by the Chamakh but the visitors than took the game to the home side by some really great attacks. They nearly scored when the ball hit the post and deflected. It was a wake up call for the defense but as usual they kept on sleeping and the opposition than scored the first goal by header from 6 yards. later Gibbs who looked really poor at the back scored from the cross from Jenkinson and equalized.
In the second half the new prospects Oxlade Chamberlain and Yossi made their mark by getting the winning goals. Chamberlain played really well. Miyachi was introduce in 71st minute and he also did make his mark by his fierce agility and pace.

Fabianski-6: He needs a lot more to replace SZ. He saved few but his kicks were horrible and not only he was nervous when the ball came to him the whole stadium was. So not so sound performance by the keeper.
Carl Jenkinson-6.5: Good forward performance not so good at the back. His assist to the first goal was sublime. He also made many good crosses. So a satisfactory performance in the end.
Miquel-7: He did played and defended well getting ball of the opposition men with solid tackles. The new lad looked promising in the game.
Djorou-5: Poor performance by the player. despite the first game experience, he failed to make his mark again and let off the ball way to easily.
Gibbs-6.5: Got the equalizer , yes but he played a satisfactory game. His defense was not up to mark. He should have and could have played better. But good equalizer. Didn't celebrate though.
Conquelin-7: Good control of the mid field. He played good and made some great through balls. Wenger must be happy with his performance.
Beneyoun-8: The Israeli showed what he is made of. Some great game play in the mid and assisted is Oxlade goal and also scored one for himself. Great game by him.
Frimpong-6.5: Was effective in the mid. Showed some good signs over all not a bad game by himself.
Oxlade-Chamberlain-9: He was the show stopper. When ever he got in the front. The opposition did get afraid. Brilliant game by the young lad. Scored the second goal at the hour mark. He will probably be making for the first team.
Chu Young Park-6.5: His first game so didn't make a lot of impact. He was alright in the front. Not too threatning though but this is understandable owing to the first time he was given the chance.
Chamakh-5: He was a flop as well. Did good in the beginning but then he was out of touch and no where to be found. He is losing his spark and charm of the game. He must step up.

Substitutes:
Miyachi-7: He came as substitute. Showed that he is indeed and exciting player. His pace is ecstatic. Played a good 30 minutes. He could make it to the first team.
Ozyakup-7.5: Good play by the lad and a good assist to Beneyoun goal. He looked promising in the field. Hopefully we will be seeing him in the future too.

Final score:
Arsenal 3-1 Shrewsbury Town

Anyways, it was good comeback by the team. But the defense has showed us that they can't even defend against league two team properly. So a lot of thinking has to be done and now I am sure that we won't be staying still in the January market. Hopefully we will be getting some new defenders as Wenger has indicated that. More on this will be coming soon guys. Stay tune!

A brand new day today. The first match of Carling cup is moments away for our team. The last year cup final still haunts many. It was Arsenal vs Birmingham. The whole Arsenal world was sure that our team would finally be ending their six year trophy drought but the horror show in the ending moments left many in tears. After that day we have played 16 EPL games and have achieved to secure only 16 points from those 16 games! Indeed with the fall of Carling cup a lot did fell with it. It was the starting point of our downfall and we are still falling even today if not already, to the bottom.

Anyways for the today's game a new set of guns are to be deployed by Wenger. The rising Japanese Ryo Miyachi will be looking for his debut and along with it we might be seeing Oxlade and Park. So, I'm expecting an exciting contest. A good performance in today's match could bring good opportunity for one of these to make it Wenger first team list in EPL.

Miyachi and Park are especially expected to make some good impact in the game. According to his former club Miyachi got in to the hearts of fans right in the first game so we pretty much expects the same here as well. A new defender Miquel is expected to be given chance as well. So, in short w'll be seeing our bench team on the go today.

After watching the poor performances of our first team, all of us must be waiting for this game as it might provide a kind of relief to all the fans. On the other hand it might add to our already growing miseries. The moral and confidence must be really down. But I'm sure we the gunners will be fully backing our team and will play a vital role in our team's revival.

On the other front a kind of good news for the gunners is that our manager has finally stood up to rectify the defense of the team. Arsene admitted that the team "lacked confidence, concentration and coordination" against Blackburn which is true indeed. He also warned his players that if they don't get things right they might find themselves and the team in real trouble.

Its a bright move by the manager. As i said in my last post the manager must make a strict protocol and should deal with the players accordingly. Its a world class club you are running and you can't have a defense like junior's club level (even they could have defended better though)

Good luck to the new gunners, we seriously hope that our team will win this by margin and it will be a good boost for the team, club and fans overall. Park could make a serious impact in this game as he is cunning and sharp in the field. We'll be back with a review on the game soon guys , till then enjoy the game.

David Villa: "Barcelona's stars have made Cesc Fabregas even better than he was at Arsenal."

The day after he left Arsenal he won 2 silverware. He has scored in almost every game he played in as Barca player. There is no doubt that he is showing his real caliber now and the saddest part is that he is no longer a part of Arsenal FC.

Messi is regarded as the best player in the world and no doubt he is. If you watch his game closely half of the goals Messi does is always as a result of a good pass in. With the world class mid fielder like Xave and Inesta and solid left back like Dani Alves even an average striker could be world class. But here we have world class strikers and world mid fielders playing side by side making the club truly the world champions. Their recent run has met a hurdle but they didn't lose the game, they drawn it and got a point in both the games.

Should we have players like Pires, Bergkamp and Henry playing along side Cesc like in the past, this guy would have been our golden luck charm. Even the precense of Wilshere, Ramsey and Nasri along side Cesc was a great factor for him. But he didn't play up to this level that he is playing now.

At one point Villa's claim is right but on the other hand if we see the history of this transfer we will see that Cesc never wanted to be at Arsenal for last 3 years. He wanted to go home. It was like preventing a young blood from going to his home land where lies his soul. So you can't expect a player even a world class player to perform in such circumstances.

Something is very wrong at Arsenal. How can you lose so much in 6 years. You lose all your great players , your silver ware. Every good thing about the gunners, they just lost it to time. Players don't like to stay here. Good players seek to leave the club as soon as they get the opportunity. There is absolutely no check on the players. The money the club get after selling its star players, not even half of it is spent again.

Many critiques blamed Wenger for buying injury prone players and that too on the dead line day. Arsenal put up 26 million for M'Villa but his club were stern on 20 million for the player. Watching the Chelsea game I was convinced that Juan Mata holds a lot of potential especially when it comes to passing.

The second half of our game against Blackburn showed the poor passing of our new signings. They are good signings but Arsenal needed Mata. They needed Cahill, M'villa, Eden Hazard. Had we got those players Arteta would have been an icing on the cake. Still our wings are solid , midfield good too, defense poor and over all our team is of the same level as Totenham or any other team of sixth or seventh position in EPL. Even that is looking unlikely now owing to our poor start or should I say worst start of the season.

The players are like beads attached to a single string. Each bead depends upon the others. All of them move with same precision and accuracy. If one bead is missing the whole chain will break down. If you want to make one great player, you have to have 10 great players behind him. If Torres was great at liverpool, he had Gerrard at his back. If Rooney is a great player then he got the greatest at his back in the form of Giggs and Vidic. Its the team that produce greatness not individuals. Fabregas was great at Arsenal, He would have been the greatest had we got some good players at back to support him.

When your defense plays you down, why do you expect results from the strikers? The back getting self destruct, still Chamakh, RVP and Gervinho attacked in front. This shows that these players are so desperate for support now. They are doing great. They are showing that they can perform really well even if the defense is failing them time and again. So, what if we repaired that back line? what if we can get a world class wall at the back? these players would go ahead with more confidence. The team would be top class again. All we need is to do something at the back. Wenger can't just rely on attack after attack while giving goals away. We make the opposition believe in them selves rather than making our team get the confidence through our brittleness and lack of focus.

After every game I hear this line "the team lacked focus" Its been so many years still the players can concentrate and focus on the game for just 90 minutes. After all what is there that distract our players on the field. Once they start getting pounded they go down and down.

In short you won't be able to utilize the true potential of the players if you don't get the right team in and if you don't take out the weak points that lies among those 11 men. And among those weaknesses our defense takes the lead. Januaray window should be the time for Wenger to replace Kocielny with Cahill as he is the weakest and we must get Samba as well owing to our injury prone defense. Two defenders are must for Wenger if he ever want to bring the confidence back in to the team!

An Opportunity Missed or Some Breathing Space?

This weekend provided the gunners with a golden opportunity to lessen their points difference from the top four. We saw Chelsea going down against United losing all 3 points. Man city lost 2 vital points against Fulham drawing 2-2 and finally Liverpool getting bashed at White Heart Lane. All the three top teams lost vital points while only the champions were able to secure all 3 points. Did we fail to close the gap or are we lucky to have the same difference as of last week when it comes to those teams?

Last year, we had a similar opportunity when United lost to Wolves and our match was against New Castle. A dark memory indeed when our defense shattered in second half conceding four goals in a row. A similar scenario happened this weekend as again we lost our lead quiet badly conceding three goals in the second half.
This clearly showed that we are not learning from our past mistakes. After every match I listen to our manager saying that we know our flaws but the problem is knowing is not the solution to whole this scenario, acting within time is the solution. We take the minor teams way to easily or should I say we take every other team way to easily. If it is some top class club we get under pressure and if it is some minor club we play easy and when we concede a goal, we get under pressure and as a result continuous bashing.

After the first goal in the Blackburn game we literally lost our touch and in the second half we were as poor as we were against United. With the bigger clubs also losing points, many of the fans would be happy enough that at least others are losing too and that will give our team some breathing space. This happened last year when Walcott after the New Castle match expressed a sigh of relief when he got to know that United have also lost their game.
But the point I want to make is that if you are a top level club or if you want to be the best, you have to stop looking on other team's result. No doubt we love to see other teams losing but what use do we make of that loss? we never utilize the opportunity thrown to us so many times.

In short this week, we had a golden opportunity to close the distance but alas we wasted it. Such opportunities are extremely rare and if we kept on losing at such stages than the result will be similar. We the EPL giants are now resting at 15th position on the table literally fighting for survival. It's a kind of dilemma not only for the club but also for us fans to see so many failures in recent times.

Wenger? or Lack of leadership?

After the saturday's match against Blackburn, there went a series of tweets and facebook status updates to kick the manager out. Justifiable, yes but what then after we fire him? could we revive our glory days? Wenger already under a lot of pressure and continuous bad performances by the team is just building up more pressure on him. There were also many updates with people saying that it is not Wenger's fault instead it is the club's officials responsible for all the mundane performances by the team.

What we see after every game is a lot of blaming and in that process we could never ponder over the fact that what is actually going wrong with the team and where does the problem lies. At the post match conference Wenger admitted the defensive break down in the second half.But there is a difference between accepting the flaw and mending the flaw.

The Defense Analysis: If you watch our defense closely you will agree with me on following points:
1. They are very inconsistent.
2. Lack leadership- This is the main reason we are performing poor.
3. No confidence at all. They get panic and sloppy when it comes to vision and man covering.
4. They are basically afraid of the attack as we saw Samba bulling them around at set pieces.

After Vierra left the club has been in constant search of a leader which could lead the team with example. RVP is our striker a great one too but he is not a leader. Same was the case with Fabregas. He was one of the best players in the world but he was never a leader. The new faces like Arteta and Mertesacker don't look like of a sort that they can lead and more over they are new and settling in. So, what we need is someone who can lead. Who can actually grab the players by neck and tell them on their face that don't play like a fool. That was what needed when Song and Kocielny did silly own goals.
The lack of concentration is hurting us. If you watch the own goals you'll feel as if the defenders were sleeping when the ball came in. In both set pieces the defenders went on back foot no one attacked the ball. This happened in the Kocielny own goal as well. First miss time tackle by Djourou then the BB player kept on running in and right when he reached the goal post he kicked to Kocielny who was not even aware enough to kick the ball away.
The question is why the hell is defense not responding to anything? why are they extremely sloppy in one game and perform really well in the other as we saw against Dortmund. Its because of the fact that no one is there to question the players. It is time Wenger start charging at the players at what the hell they do despite training and all why can't they play like Arsenal men, like Gunners! Its not about the talent now its about maintaining a strict atmosphere.

If you can attack well, you have to defend well. If you can't defend then you are not a champion club and right now we are not. Later today we will be finding ourselves in the bottom three relegation zone. Firing Wenger is not the solution. You can get all the new managers but all they would do is disrupt the club and team even more. What you have to do is work on the club's officials. Especially the finance department. Every body is just being a miser sort and who are suffering , the fans. Every game comes out to be a heart shattering result for us gunners.
Now the time has got so bad that we are fighting to get out of the relegation zone. We are destroying every thing we created. Wenger must kick Kocielny out get in Squillaci. If he don't perform kick him out too and get some muscle. January window is all the more important now. If the club don't buy Cahill or Samba, the fans should take action against the club!

New Signings Same Old Arsenal!

When you see the hope finally returning to Emirates, it goes far far away. Dark times are coming indeed. The fans were all up for the today's match. Every body started hoping that things are going to turn around for Arsenal now but same old story. History repeating it self. The history which we witnessed in Carlin cup final and most importantly at Old trafford when we got thrashed for 8-2. That was the champions thrashing us but now we got a 4-3 thrash by the team residing at the bottom of the table.

Now Steve Keane would be enjoying his survival while we the gunner fans are all left in awe as what actually happened in the game. You must know this that this is not the first time so it was not some thing impossible. But unexpected? yes it was indeed. With Mertesacker and Santos coming in all of us were full of hope that our defense finally got some experience and physicality as well. The results of last two games showed us that things could be turning out right. But today's performance has literally exposed the fragility of our team now. We are the weakest now! and we have to accept that. There is no running away now. We have conceded 14 goals in 5 games! This has been our worst start to the league since 1982-83 season!
Now till when would we listen to the claims by Wenger that Kocielny is learning and he will prove to be great.
Yes he played well against Dortmund but football is about consistency. Trophies are way out of our reach now. And it is time we stop thinking about trophies because they won't be coming to us in near future. Now to talk about the game. First game by Yokubu. Our defence was way over the line. They were playing outside the D line. It only took one through pass by the opposition and there you go first goal. Second goal reminded many of us about the last year's Arsenal. Set piece goal. Simple volley by the opposition and Song put it in. The camera showed the ball got in after getting deflected from his knee. It seemed as if he wanted to guide the ball in. Poor defending week in week out.
At every press conference Wenger says one thing; " People forget that we had best away record". Well now we all won't ever forget our away record at least not in the near future. The next game is against Totenham and all I can infer is hoplesness among the gunners.
Six year trophy drought but all of us showed confidence in Wenger that he could turn things for us again. Long gone the times of invincibles and Thierry Henry. They are gone now. Nasri, Fabregas gone now. All we are left with is to see bunch of amateur defenders doing own goals and sinking the last bit of hope in every other gunner fan.
The third goal came of again with a set piece , a corner this time. The new zonal defending tactics showed its worth. No man marking and there you go one simple ball in and Yakubu scores his second. He was offside but it was a very tough call. So crying over the refrees decisions holds no ground. It is time we raise our voices against the club policies and tactics. What is happening to once EPL giants. With that game losing we could will soon be joining bottom three. The once champions will now be fighting for survival. And all we ginners could do is watch our beloved Arsenal as it falls and crumbles to pieces.
Desperate times for the gunners. The ray of hope came from Arteta and new signings all diminshing in the poor performance of our defenders. Kocielny repeated history at last, did own goal again and literally that was completely under no pressure. The guy acted as if sleeping and ball deflected from his foot right into the net. This has been the story with Kocielny since he joined Arsenal.
Last year Evra claimed that Arsenal is nothing but a training ground and it pretty much looks as if he was right after all. We are losing all our good players. We don't have money for good players or should we say our policy don't allow us buying new players. Our medical team has no clue that why do the players get injured day in day out. Our manager always stays optimistic despite knowing that how much bad things are going for us. Fans are crying over every other game. In short, Arsenal is going down and the sooner we realize this, the sooner we will be able to hold it from vanquishing and if we don't change our policies than I see a very grim future for us gunners.

"Arsenal made me who I am today" Cesc Fabregas and the Media

"I left the gunners because they were no longer be able to compete for the silverware" quoted by sports magazine and initiating a what seems non ending tornado for both the Arsenal fans and Cesc. Later Fabregas claimed that he never said any thing like that;

"There, I just said the truth and what came out of my heart: great words about a great club, because success and trophies is just what they deserve.

"I want Arsenal to be successful as much as every single fan. That is not why I left, it was never in my mind. Arsenal made me who I am today."

Indeed Arsenal made you who you are today mate. But who could be saying the truth. Truth is we can't trust no body in this regard. Media plays with people's mind. They manipulate it quiet good. They are always in search of new gossip just to have some good headlines. After all they are running a business. On the other hand players are not so much innocent on their par too.

But after going through all the transfer saga and everything, I believe Cesc does regard Arsenal greatly with heart. But what if Cesc did say all that? its simple if he said all that he spoke nothing but a mere truth. Returning to Barcelona is not just returning to home. It was about going to the champions of the world. If some one is showed interest by the world's biggest club whom is its home town too than no one is turning down that offer. Silver ware is the most important thing in almost any footballer's career. There is not just one "Messi" out there, there are millions. But the sole reason we only know one Messi is because he plays for the world's biggest club and has won trophies almost every year. The others so called Messis are also out there too but they can never be recognized until they move to some great club.

Arsenal no doubt is among the giants but watching the past 6 years, I am forced to think otherwise. I will always be a gunner but we have to admit the truth, we lost a great deal of ourselves over the years. Not only we lost our champion's trait we also have lost numerous great players in the process. There is one thing but and that is the respect element. The player who says bad about the club he left shouldn't deserve to play the football. Why? because every club tarnishes you. It makes you all the more better. As for Arsenal we make the world's greatest but unfortunately we make all those players for other clubs.

Samir Nasri also drawn a lot of attention recently by claiming a lot of stuff about Arsenal and its fans but at the end of the day he claimed that the media is just creating fuss and he does and will always love Arsenal. Well this time even I'm "manipulated by the media" and like all you guys I hate Nasri too. Because he left only for trophies. Cesc has other reasons as I told earlier. Nasri came out as a great player only last year and he left for Man City. I think he should have regarded Arsenal a bit more than he did. But when you are young you are always anxious so nothing could be said and done now.

Now we got replacements in the form of Arteta and Gervinho. I like the players. They have a charm in their personalities and also in their game. And the most important thing is that these players don't over rate themselves and they came to be a part of us knowing that we have not won any silver ware. Yes the champion's league is a big attraction but I think the best thing is there are still players out there who love to play football not for trophies but for the game itself.

The Return of Gervinho and Song! How it will affect our game

"It has been a stop and start season for me.I took the red card and I am annoyed with myself." Indeed it was a pretty rough time for the new gunner who looked to make his debut against new castle but unfortunately got red carded. I would still say that the reason world cup don't comes to England is bad decisions not only on the field but off the field by F.A as well. The guy who initially started the mayhem got off with just a yellow. Anyways past is past.

The young sensation is coming back and will probably start for Arsenal as we look to take on Rovers. One of the problems I see with our wingers is that they lose the ball way to easily. Closely observe Arshavin and Walcott. Yes, brilliant players no doubt but the ability to keep the ball matters a lot especially when you attack from the side lines.

The arrival of Gervinho will bolster the attack for sure. He got quick movements and agility. All he got to do is try not to get right into defenders which we saw against Dortmund. The guy got brilliant talent. What lacking is the execution and tactical dribbling and movement. Nasri was one of the players who had that quality of attack with technique.

Anyways the bottom line is the return of Gervinho will prove fruitful and I see an assist by the winger against the Rovers. Lets see what he can do.

Along with the winger we got our defensive midfielder back which is very vital. The importance of Song was clearly shown by his performance against Dortmund. Gotze was powerless the way song kept him at bar. A deserving man of the match. What i'm still waiting is for Park Young to show up. With Arteta and Song in the midfield and Walcott and Gervinho on wings, introducing park right behind RVP is a risk worth taking.

When I compare last year with present, I see an over all rise and fall thing. Our start was brlliant last year. The ending was as disappointed as it could get. This year the start is well, opposite and I sure hope the end will be opposite too. Nothing feels better than watching your team go to the top.

The injury list still looks bad. Ramsey condition looks better but its very unlikely that he'll be playing this weekend. According to Wenger, Vermaelen is recovering well and he'll be back after the next international break. I can't wait to see how the combination of Mertesacker and Vermaelen would do for Arsenal. No doubt they are world class but in foot ball at the end of the day its all about chemistry and it's not about how you play the game individually, it is about how you go by it collectively. So, lets see what the weekend got for us.

Arsenal vs Blackburn- A win is a must now for Gunners!

Four matches. One draw. Two lost and one win. This is how our season has started. But no more silly mistakes or sloppiness. Its time to get back in to the premiership. The champions are rolling ahead. The Manchester clubs are showing no mercy. The action is back this saturday and Blackburn Rovers will be hosting Arsenal this time.

The homeside:
First lets talk about the home side. Blackburn was taken over by the Indian owners last year. But sadly for them their start to season is worst than Arsenal with only one draw and three loses. The pressure will be on home side thus. But the more you press the opposition the harder it will recoil. So we should expect that the home side will give in their everything for this game. More over blackburn is currently in mayhem with their fans rallying against Steve Keane.The Lancashire club has been disappointing in the Premier League, earning only one point from the opening four games, and currently sits bottom of the table, with supporters now set to voice their frustration.The line up I see in the coming game will be the same as against Fulham. One good edge with the Rovers is that they have Pederson who can give a long throw right in front of goal post. Arsenal must be pretty tight at the back. We are most vulnerable at set pieces. At the back they are pretty good to with the muscle of Samba.

Our Team:
After getting good results against Dortmund, Wenger's men are ready to take on the Rovers with the renewed confidence. Gervinho and Song would be available again as the ban time period comes to an end. That will change the entire game tactics. But we have lost Ramsey to injury list. But reinforcements are already their in the midfield with Arteta taking the lead role in leading the midfield. He will probably be accompanied by Beneyoun who made his starting debut in champions league match for the club. Arsenal need to bring their style of play in to the game again sooner rather than later. Winning this game is of utmost importance. A draw or a lose could bring us to our knees. A new hope i coming to our side. This match is crucial for that hope to stay in our hearts and minds.
The players look confident. There is new buzz going around in the club. A new exciting phase has arrived in the club.

The Bottomline: Though I want Arsenal to win this by margin but I see a tough game ahead. But keeping in view the statistics I can say the gunners will win this by 2-1. There will be a tough game with goals coming from RVP and Walcott. From Blackburn I think Hoilett will be looking at his name on the score board. So lets see what saturday got for us. Things are Changing for Arsenal

The last night match had it all. Force, power, work, struggle, caution, tension.... everything. It showed our mettle and A growing sense of calmness during the game. Fighting the German champions in front of their more than 80000 fans who were ravaging every moment was not an easy job. The inclusion of experience has showed that we are growing again now. The players kept their calm. They didn't panic and that was the best part.
After years of criticism on Arsenal's goal keeper, I think we have finally got our guy.
The guy was brilliant at the post. He inspired all in front of him. Gave them hope and reason to fight. With mounting pressure from the opposition. Szenczy was absolutely brilliant.
In the past two games, he has clearly shown that he could be the best in the world. Still inexperience and young, but the way he kept his calm and poise in recent years, I'm very much assured that this guy will be the future of our goal keeping.
Dortmund attacked right from the start. Our defense did leave some spaces but the pressure was too great and over all the defenders did their best. With Mertesacker height and experience the defenders looked all the more efficient at the back.
I have to say the arrival of the new players in the club has given us a reason to back our club with same passion as when the invincibles were there. For me it won't matter if we finish with a trophy or not. What matters is we have taken a step forward. For the last 6 years I was waiting for this to happen.
No doubt we are not playing at our best at the moment. Some poor passing too. But if we look at the bigger picture, we will see that a lot is changing at Arsenal. The fans have a ray of hope now. Everywhere I see, I saw fans rejoicing over the 1-1 draw. The reason being is that we are fighting now and we are fighting with purpose.
There is a growing feeling of unity among the fans and the club now. People are starting to put their trust back in Wenger's tactics and thinkings. We are coming out of the abyss we were in for so long. Its just the matter of time now. Good will come to Arsenal sooner or later.

Background: Alex son was born in Douala, Cameroon. He lost his father at the age of 3. His cousin Rigobert Song took care of him and raised him up. He has 17 sisters and 10 brothers. Wanting to get a good life, Song adopted football as his passion and occupation. He joined SC Bastia at the age of 16. Got married at 18 and has 2 children now.
Career: During his time in Bastia, he attracted attentions from numerous clubs including Juventus and Manchester United. In 2005 Bastia loaned their price asset to Arsenal and later sold them for 10 million pounds despite being heavily linked to Lyon.

Since that day, Song is playing for Arsenal. He prefer playing as defensive midfielder. In the last game against Bortmund Song has proved to be brilliant. he went through many ups and downs during the years. His last year at arsenal is regarded as the best.

The guy is known for his versetality not only on the pitch but also in his hair style. He experiments a lot with his looks. And many follow him. He marked his 2010-11 season with blond style. The guy has always some ideas of what to do next. Being a defensive midfielder, Song scored 9 times in his career and assisted 10 times. That is not bad for a Defensive Midfielder guys.

Now as the Arsenal moves through more difficult times now. Its vital that Song takes the responsibilty and help Mertesacker and Kocielny Defend with purpose and vigour. We'll be needing all the more now. Good luck to him and Arsenal!!

Arsenal vs Swansea Review

The whole Arsenal world was waiting for this game. Fans were excited, hopeful but in true terms ecstatic. Watching the gunners in red coming out of the tunnels with two new faces making their debuts, it was a feeling full of emotion and hope. Wenger proclaim that this will be our season start. So, firstly in a nut shell we got three points, secondly it was only due to a funny mistake by the Swansea goalkeeper, thirdly we played a nervous and sloppy game and finally the fans yet relieved but are not happy with the team performance.

So the game started in a great fashion for Arsenal, the crowd was fully active chanting our slogans and right in the beginning Arteta charged into the opposition giving a brilliant pass to Ramsey who was unable to finish. After that the game got into a steady tempo with the opposition attacking at the same rate and didn't let Arsenal settle. In 15th min a brilliant through ball from Arshavin got Walcott going for goal, Vomer ran for him but he already shot in to the post and right when it was about to get in Caulker dived in and poked the ball away before it could cross the line.

The game continued in this fashion with Swansea counter attacking on certain occasions. Szczesny was brilliant and saved many shots acrobatically. The flanks were pretty weak meanwhile Arteta and Mertesacker showed real promise. They looked solid owing to their first game at Emirates and they probably have satisfied the manager.

The goal came at 41st minute when Vomer prevented the corner by catching the ball at the right goal line. Without thinking he passed the ball to a defender in front of him who didn't even know the ball is coming to him. The ball got deflected from the defender Rangel's heel and was gifted to Arshavin who took no time in shooting the ball into clear post from a tight angle. The Whole stadium was up and relieved by the goal.

The second half was pretty bad for Arsenal. Sloppy passes, late tackles, nervousness, restlessness among fans. It was a kind of movie running at emirates with every body biting their nails off. Swansea attacked with purpose. They were organized.Crosses kept on coming but Mertesacker was doing well. Thank God we got some height.

The team was tackling out of desperation with three yellows awarded to Walcott, Arteta and Kocielny.Swansea nearly equalized from a free kick at 53rd minute with Sinclair shot hitting the post. We did on counter attacks but again the finish was lacking. RVP looked out of form too. Walcott was really sloppy and gave away the ball many times. Gibbs did a bit better but he too was looking distracted. Mertesacker did great owing to his first match we will be watching a lot of him soon. He did made a grave mistake at one stage at which he let the ball pass over him to Swansea player behind him who shot the ball off over the bar.

Vomer did save some good shots but his one mistake got the Arsenal lucky.

If it was not for both the goal keepers we would have been witnessing the same frustrating draw. Playing the new team who didn't even score once, we were way below average.

With Manchester City flying with Aguero hat trick and Chelsea winning over sunderland, the competition is getting really tougher. While i was writing this the champions Manchester United are already 3-0 up to Bolton and their game has just started. So, the other teams are all time high and if we don't do any thing sooner, our beloved club will fall down. We can not rely on other teams losing or winning we must mend our tactics. Wenger must play park along with RVP. There is utmost need of changing the formation and bringing in new tactics. The fire among the players is getting dimmer and dimmer. With Fabregas scoring in almost every game at Barcelona, their shouldn't be any doubt that the few good players we have will also soon decides to go. And they won't be wrong here. With the current situation at club there is no way we could get the trophy.

In the end I would just say that this season we will just be fighting for a spot in first four.But I am hopeful that things will change for us and we will grow from here on wards.

Its all about the midfield now - The blend of Ramsey and Arteta

The game is just around the corner. For many it will be tommorow, the season start for Arsenal. You can say a bit late but still the good thing is it does finally starts. Every body is excited to finally see how things will go with the new and now can be rightfully said "Experienced Arsenal Team". The blend of youth and experience we see at Man utd is exemplary. Though they our biggest rivals (and like you i hate them too) but still when it comes to games, United is far ahead of us now.
Its not easy to cover off eight points right in the beginning of the season but its just the start. We saw Chelsea last year topping the table than gradually dropped of to sixth position. But that is highly unlikely for the champions and we must not expect them to lose. What we should expect and hope for is for our team to step upto the mark. The competition in EPL is now rated the highest. Man City despite having all the money, i think will soon drop points. The main reason is no matter how many players you sign, at the end of the day what matters is the team chemistry and understanding. These traits are yet to be grasped by the City. But looking at their games it looks like the club is working alot on the team and that is the reason they are regarded as among the favourites for the title this year.

For the gunners now a lot depends on midfield. We can hope that the defence does his job too but the midfielder job is central. He has to look forward as well as back. The entry of Arteta is indeed a grand signing. Though many consider it as a move out of sheer desperation but I think the guy got brilliant play maker abilities. He might not be our next Fabregas but he will indeed influence a lot in the mid field. Having the young Wales captain Ramsey on his side things will get even better. We will be watching the blend of youth, dynamism with experience and tactical game play. Arteta will be in a lot of pressure this saturday as the Whole arsenal world is looking up to him. His first performance is of utmost importance. But we shouldn't expect him to be the messiah of the team right from the beginning. He has came to a new place. In his interview he said he hardly knew any one here but he will settle soon. And that he should. That what makes a football player great, his "adaptability".

Ramsey himself is pretty much happy about the fact that he has got a supporting mid fielder now. I think Arteta will have a very positive influence on the young blood of our club. Another positive point would be the addition of Santos who is pretty much like Clichy. Van Persie will be a lucky guy now. He got some good play makers behind him. All he got to do is finish!

So, lets see whats the tommorow game hold for us. Remember not to expect much from the new players right from the first game. Give them time and pray that our club be revived soon to its old glory days. Remember the invincibles. GO GUNNERS GO!

Injuries Again!

With the defeat at old Trafford things were already bad enough but no one knew that another blow is yet to come in the form of injuries. The defense started falling down after the departure of Vierra and after that not only we lost leadership but also quality defense. Wenger likes attacking footbaal which is clear enough from his match tactics. But if you don't defend your homeland you have nothing to fight for. Thomas Vermaelen was probably the best defender we have got since the past 6 years. He was the key player and some recent games and champion league matches clearly showed that this guy is the business. But things didnt turn out well for him. Missing the whole last season cause of achilles injury and now he is again out as his father has confirmed that Vermaelen underwent ankle surgery and is out for up to 2 months. This means he will be missing up to eight games and two third of the season again.

With the arrival of Martesacker, hopes have risen but you can't be defending with a single central defender. Laurent Kocielny and Djourou have failed us numerous times. One of their biggest problems is that they play high on the line and they cannot defend against simple headers and set pieces. Teams like Man u and chelsea, they rely a lot on set pieces and crosses. So, loosing 8-2 was not really a surprise as not only we lacked our defence but also our midfield. Criticising 8-2 defeat is useless because not only Man utd played well, we played worst. Injuries and out of form excuses can't be used again and again.
The reason of injuries can be two-fold. Either the club medical staff is highly non professional and lacking skills. Or the training sessions drain out a whole lot of energy from the youngsters. Being a football player, lacking physical fitness is out of questions. So, we can infer that these injuries are probably due to extra stress on the players physically as well as mentally. Jack Wilshere was the best player of the season last year. He played almost every game. Enrolling into England team, the youngster have to cope up with extreme physical demands. It was eventually bound to happen. Putting a whole lot of stress on such a young blood is like keeping your hands raised for a whole year. Fabio Capello blamed Arsenal for this and not so sure but I would agree with him. We rely a lot and demanded a great deal from Wilshere. And now when the need is greatest, he is out for 3 months.
Now how will this effect the team. First off, the moral would indeed be low because we are loosing good players. Either we lose them in transfer market or we lose them because of injury. Results are the same, more problems for the club and the team. But lets see what happens on weekend...
