Robert Lewandowski has Signed, Says Wenger.

While on commentary duty on French TV during the UEFA Champions League final match, Arsene Wenger revealed that Robert Lewandowski had already been signed from Dortmund.

The rumour of the Polish striker joining Bayern in the summer has been making waves for a while now. Before yesterday, there had been no reliable confirmatiom of the deal but Wenger finally put an end to any doubts concerning the striker's transfer. According to him, he would be joining the European Champions this summer.

Also during the show, Wenger disclosed his interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder, İlkay Gündoğan. He just couldn't stop talking about him throughout the whole game.

When asked about the possibility of Zlatan Ibrahimovic remaining in PSG he said he was 90% certain he is going nowhere. Wenger made a mockery of Man City during the match.

Wenger : And City were last.

Now that the footballing season is finally over, Wenger should swing into action and add more quality to the ones we already have.

Arsenal Target Prefers Real Madrid Move.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is currently being trailed by Arsenal, Tottenham and a few other clubs had revealed he would love to join Real Madrid.

He has been on fire for Ligue 1 side, St. Etienne, having scored 19 goals in 32 league appearances so far this season, causing top clubs make him a transfer target.

The 23-year old would surely reject any other move if he gets an opportunity to join his dream team, Real Madrid and also made it clear that he would need some time to make a decision.

"I cannot fail with my decision, whatever I decide to do will not be a mistake," he said.

"The reflection will be long and I want to negotiate with the club that offers the best for me in every way. My dream is to one day play for Real Madrid."

There are also rumours that Arsenal are planning a move for Aston Villa striker, Christian Benteke.

Yaya To Join Arsenal this Summer.

Arsenal are in for Auxerre's 20-year old striker, Yaya Sanogo, according to latest reports.

The starlet has scored 9 goals in 11 appearances for the Ligue 2 side and his form has raised many offers. He rejected a lot of offers just because he prefers to sign for Arsenal. His contract expires this summer and according to news from some French sources, he has already agreed a 4-year deal with the Gunners.

Asked for details about the deal, Arsene Wenger said they are at the initial stages and haven't yet finalised Yaya's signing.

"It is in the advanced stages but it is not done," he said, when asked about Sanogo.

Some Arsenal fans are already going Gaga over this news. They have kept asking why Wenger keeps signing French players but for me, I think Arsene Knows Best.

Arsenal's New Puma Kit for Next Season?

It was reported last week that Arsenal Football Club had signed a 5-year kit deal worth £170 million with Puma. Let me make something clear. I noticed some Gunners had questions like "What would then happen to the new £150 million Fly Emirates deal??

If you had been observant, you'll have noticed that every club jersey has two labels on them. They are two different things entirely. The Arsenal kit for example presently has a Nike Logo and Fly Emirates inscription. In this case, Nike is the kit producer while Fly Emirates is the kit sponsor so it should be known that the new Puma deal won't hinder the Fly Emirates deal.

Sorry I diverted a bit from the main topic. I just came across this golden kit which was said to possibly be Arsenal's kit for next season. One thing I am just confused about is that the Puma deal is supposed to kick-off in the 2014/15 season not next season. Anyhow it happens is all well and good.

What do you think about the new kit design. Is it On or Off Target?

Arsenal Agrees £170 million Kit Deal with Puma, the Biggest in English Football.

Arsenal Football Club has agreed a kit deal with Puma worth £170 million, the biggest in English football history.

Both sides struck an agreement of over £30 million per year and according to The Mirror, the deal is a five year deal. Arsenal's deal has surpassed Liverpool's new kit deal with Warrior which was initially reported to be the biggest in the Premier League. That of the Reds worths £25 million per year. This deal would see Arsenal's 20-year old patnership with Nike come to an end.

The new deal together with the £150m five year shirt sponsorship deal with Emirates would shoot up the club's finance and as such would make it easier for the recruitment of new players in the summer.

Theo Walcott Scores Fastest Arsenal Premier League Goal Ever.

Walcott's opener against QPR is his 100th Arsenal goal, his 20th goal of the season, the fastest Premier League goal of the season and the fastest Arsenal goal ever in the Premier League.

The goal came in the 20th second after former Gunner, Armand Traore made a poor header. This gave Arsenal the advantage as they strive to clinch a Champions League spot for the 2013/14 season.

Since Kevin Doyle scored for Reading against Sheffield in the 20th second in 2006, Walcott's goal is the fastest the Premier League had seen. Walcott's early strike has knocked off Robin Van Persie from the top of the Fastest Goal of the Season Chart.

Today's goal is Walcott's second 1st-minute goal of the season. The first was against Everton in November 2012 and it came in the 51st second.

Theo Walcott scored his 100th Arsenal goal, his 20th goal of the season, in the 20th second , in his 200th English Football appearance .

Wenger Not Concerned about Fabregas and Mourinho.

If I should go by the rate at which the news spread like wildfire, it would be fair for me to conclude that all of my blog readers have heard about the Fabregas to Arsenal rumour. It is something that has made many Arsenal supporters joyous for some weeks now.

Cesc Fabregas, according to some Spanish sources would be put out for sale at the end of the season and North-London is his most likely destination. The source reported that Barcelona needed money for some project works at the Nou Camp and since the former Arsennal skipper is surplus to requirements at the club, he might be shown the exit door.

Asked if there was any possibility of the deal coming through, Arsene Wenger said,

"No, it is not a short term option [for him to return]. The short-term option for us is just to focus on tomorrow's game and finish the season well. That's the short term option!

Elsewhere, it had been said that Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho has agreed a £10 million/year deal to make a return to Chelsea next season. He was seen in London at dinner with Chelsea owner, Roman Abrahamovic in London where we learnt a deal was struck.

At Wenger's QPR pre-match Press Conference, he was asked about the genuinity of the news and he replied,

"That's Chelsea's affair. I don't know what Chelsea want to do. Honestly, that is not my affair and I just focus on the end of the season for us to do well. I don't know [if it's good for the Premier League]. They have a good manager now and they will have a good manager next year. Nobody knows who it will be. Nothing is official.

Arsenal would face Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and Arsene Wenger expects the game to be tough as usual. There had been a lot of people saying The Red Devils wouldn't put up a tough fight because they had already won the English Premier League trophy after a 3-0 triumph against Aston Villa last Monday but the Frenchman has disputed such claims.

“It’s easy to ease off, yes, I do not hope too much. It is a special game, always, a little bit because naturally the stress is not there any more" he said on the club's official website.

“Your tendency is to relax a little bit. The fact is they might continue to go [for it], or because it is just the next game. I think in two to three games they will ease off. Whether they want to or not.

“You are still on the high for the next game. It would be a big mistake for us to think they will ease off straight away on Sunday. It can happen in two weeks.”

I myself do not agree to that. I do not think United would want to take it easy just because they've already been crowned the Champions of England. I see them fighting on till the very end and besides, it's a game against one of their rivals and they won't want to lose. Let's just give them a hard fight and grab all three points.

Arsenal Agree Personal Terms Ahead of Jovetic's Signature,

Arsenal have agreed terms with Fiorentina and are now prepared to bring Stefan Jovetic to North-London, according to Caughtoffside.

It had been reported that the Gunners have succeeded in their pursuit of the Montenegrin striker and are ready to cough out the sum of £24 million to secure his signature.

If this news is a genuine one then we should all expect to see the 23-year old at the London club in the coming summer.
There is also news that Fiorentina are looking to snap Torres as a replacement for him.

Good morning Gunners. How was your night? Hope you had someone [a Barcelona fan] to mock last night. Lol. Back to the reason why we are here.

Arsenal's failure to get a deal sealed for Swansea defender, Ashley Williams would mean beaming their searchlight elsewhere. If peradventure, talks for the above stated deal do not yield a positive result, Arsenal would try to lure Fazio from Sevilla.

Fazio who is 6ft 5in tall had been a long-term target of Wenger. His attempt to sign the Argentine in 2009 failed and he would be willing to try his luck once again if the Ashley deal flops.

Wenger wants to bring at least one central-back to Arsenal next summer with Williams being his most-preferred target but it seems the Swans are not willing to let go one of their best players. It was reported that a deal worth £12 million had been agreed between the two clubs but Swansea were quick to deny that.

26-year old Fazio would be the next in line if Swansea stand their grounds. A £5.5 million bid would be enough to snap the defender from Sevilla. The Spanish side are currently in a poor financial position and would be eager to do business with Arsenal.

Let's relax and see what happens.

After a disappointing draw against Everton on Tuesday, Arsene Wenger's side are now desperate to grab all three points away at Fulham tomorrow.

As we all await kick-off Wenger has given an update on the current state of his boys. Fabianski who missed Arsenal's last fixture due to a rib injury remains sidelined while Rosicky, Cazorla, Wilshere and Chamberlain are all doubtful for the clash away at Fulham.

"Fabianski is not back. The keeper's situation is similar to what it was before. It is a rib injury. It is game to game for him, said Wenger at his pre-match press-conference.

"At the back everyone should be available. In midfield we have a few people to check like Cazorla, Wilshere and Oxlade-Chamberlain. They will all have tests but I hope they should be alright.

"We have to test Rosicky who was not ready to start on Tuesday. There are a number of uncertainties about our squad but I will sort that out on Friday morning.

As Arsenal prepare to face Norwich City on Saturday, Arsene Wenger had spoken to the media concerning his side's current state.

Wilshere and Walcott who had been out for a while have a 90 percent chance to feature in Saturday's game. Thomas Rosicky has an hamstring injury but might still make it. Metesacker is out through suspension.

Cazorla Wins Player of the Month Award.

Arsenal,s summer recruit, Santi Cazorla has showed he is a world class player and worthy of playing for the Gunners by winning the Player of the Month award for the month of March. This is his second in two consecutive months and the fourth for the season.

He had immensely contributed to the progress of the club since his arrival and even though he scored only once in March, he still got one-third of the votes. His only goal was against Reading (Goal of the Month).

Abou Diaby was second. Fans all over the world showed their support to the midfielder who got his season terminated by a training ground injury.

Koscielny bagged third position after helping Arsenal win against Bayern Munich in the return leg of the Champions League last 16. His efforts to maintain a solid defence for Arsenal hasn't gone unnoticed.

Former Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola's reign at Bayern would begin
next summer and as such, a move for Laurent Koscielny is being lined
up.

France Football dropped the bombshell in today's edition of their
publication and Ligue 1 journalist, Matt Spiro took to Twitter to
announce the development.

Injuries made Koscielny drop off Arsenal starting lineup at some
points this season but since his involvement in the Bayern return
fixture, he has elevated his play and remained consistent eversince.
One might wonder why Guardiola chose Koscielny as his defensive target
but the reason is so glaring. When Guardiola was still at Barca and
Arsenal were paired with the Catalans, the French defender had a great
performance. He gave Lionel Messi a tough time and that helped Arsenal
escape with a 2-1 win at the Emirates. From that moment, Pep had been
an admirer of the Arsenal powerhouse.

Another matter arising here is the fact that not too long ago, Koscer
pledged allegiance to the Gunners insisting he was not prepared for a
move. He has 4 more years on his contract and this might make things
tough for Bayern Munich.

"I still have four years left on my contract after June," said Koscielny.

"I feel good in the club – they have faith in me.

"If every time I play less I change clubs, it would be ridiculous. I'm
happy in London,my family too. I'm not thinking about that."

I just pray this deal doesn't succeed because I do not want a repeat
of what we've experienced in recent seasons whereby we struggle at the
beginning of every campaign due to the sale of star players.

One Obstacle as Arsenal Progress With Jovetic Negotiations.

It is no longer news that Arsenal are prepared to strengthen their
attack with new signings in the coming summer. The first choice of the
Gunners is Fiorentina striker, Stefan Jovetic.

A £25 million price tag had been placed on the forward and Arsene
Wenger is prepared to spend big this time around. He is keen on
bringing Jovetic to North-London and talks are already in progress.

The deal looks like one that would eventually come through considering
the fact that the player himself [Jovetic] is craving for a place at
Arsenal.

With about £70 million to spend on transfers, it won't be a problem to
meet his asking price but the only obstacle on the way is Arsenal's
hopes of qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League. If we
fail to qualify, then he would probably turn down the move,

Stefan has so far this season scored 12 goals in 25 league appearances
and with this kind of form, he wouldn't be a bad buy for Arsenal.

Let's just hope Arsenal continue in winning ways so as to qualify for
the UCL and possibly lure Jovetic to the Emirates.

Hello Gunners... It's the Easter period and I hope you are all having a nice time.

It's been a while I've posted here due to the fact that my exams are on. Sorry to all our loyal readers.

I just finished following our NextGen Series semi-final match against Chelsea and it was so pathetic that after all the efforts our youths gave, we still lost 4-3 and had been knocked out of the competition.

Anyway, the main reason for this post was just to show you a picture which you would love. I have got it in my collection for a long time and just decided to share it. It's an image of our little Russian [Andrey Arshavin] when he was still a kid.

Above are photos from Arsenal's annual Sports and Exercise Medicine Conference which held at the Emirates Stadium on Monday.

The third edition of the conference was masterminded by Arsenal's head of medical services, Colin Lewin and Gary O'Driscoll, Arsenal's medical director. It was a medium for sharing of knowledge on scientific healthcare management.

In attendance were Arsene Wenger, Fabrice Muamba, Bolton Wanderers team doctor Dr Jonathan Tobin, Dr Sam Mohiddin. Other presenters on the day included John Murtough, the Premier League head of elite performance, John Norwig, head athletic trainer &head of sports medicine at The Pittsburgh Steelers along with Dr Nick Webborn, chief medical officer of the British Paralympic Association.

Arsenal on the Verge of Signing Red Card Manufacturer.

Amorebieta's agent has revealed his client is on the verge of making a switch to Arsenal in the coming summer.

The Venezuelan international who plays for Athletic Bibao had been on the radar of Anzhi and Arsenal since last year and his agent has confirmed he is in talks with the Gunners. The 27-year old is willing to ply his trade elsewhere and therefore has decided to play in the English Premier League. His decision made a move to Russia impossible even though Anzhi were willing to meet the demands.

'We have had some contacts with Anzhi, they were ready to make a good offer, but my client wants to play in England, so the transfer to Russia was not possible.

' We are in talks with Arsenal , he could join them in June.' – Gines Carvajal, Amorebieta's agent, was quoted in an interview.

Amorebieta's contract expires at the end of the season. He refused an extension and Bibao aren't concerned about that. He is a good defender but not better than what Arsenal currently have at centre-back. He is good in the air but not better than Mertesacker except for the fact that he got pace than the German. One point of worry about him is in the aspect of discipline. He is the player with the most red cards in the history of the Spanish club [Bibao] having 11 red cards to his name. In the 2009/10 season, he had 18 yellow cards and 2 red cards.
