UNTUNG TERUS!!

2011-02-03T18:36:00.000+07:00

Nama teman saya sendiri Untung Margono, anak ketiga. Sedangkan sang ayah bernama Untung Pitoyo, diikuti oleh anak pertama Untung Hartono, anak kedua Untung Prabowo, anak keempat Untung Sunaryo, anak kelima Untung Haryono, anak keenam Untung Wiyono, dan anak ketujuh Untung Widodo.

Memang luar biasa…. Semuanya” untung”.

TUJUH JURUS MENJADI SEHAT

2011-02-03T17:49:00.002+07:00

4. Kerja, Olahraga, dan Istirahat yang Seimbang

Jangan bekerja keras tanpa istirahat.

Ungkapan “Man tries, God cures” dan “Time and nature are healing” harus mengingatkan kita kepada kuasa Allah atas kesehatan dan penyakit kita.

MENEMUKAN KEKURANGAN

2011-02-03T17:47:00.002+07:00

STROKE, RESIKO UTAMA HIPERTENSI

2011-02-03T17:45:00.002+07:00

Setelah masa kritis berlalu, masa pemulihan peranannya sangatlah penting. Usaha dokter, tindakan fisioterapi, gairah hidup si pasien, semuanya ikut mendukung pemulihan penderita.

Successful Motivation Techniques

2011-02-03T17:43:00.000+07:00

Without motivation we would be a pretty backward society. Motivation gave the world electricity, airplanes, the theory of relativity and powerful computers. Sometimes however, it is difficult to stay motivated so you can achieve your goals. Whether at home, at work or at school there are a few tried and true motivation techniques you can try.

Ask Yourself Why

One of the reasons you lose your motivation is because you forget the outcome of the task you are performing. Therefore when you feel like you do not want to continue on with a task remember why you started the task in the first place. For example, if you run out of steam in the middle of a project at work ask yourself what the result will be when it is completed? Maybe you will get a paycheck bonus or impress your boss. Perhaps the result of the project will teach you a new skill or provide you with new information. Always try to keep your reason for the task at the forefront of your mind. As a matter of fact, it might help to make up a small mantra to recite before you start the task. This way you always remind yourself of the reason for your actions.

Stay Positive

One of the key factors to staying motivated is keeping that desire to achieve. Usually you will want to partake of an activity if it is pleasant or enjoyable. Fun is a great motivator. When you find a task is getting mundane and you are developing a negative attitude toward the activity it is time to make it fun. For example, you might be trying to get in shape but hate visiting the gym every day and walking on the treadmill. Think of a physical activity that you enjoy. Maybe you like to dance, so try taking dance lessons. Or, maybe inviting a friend for a walk through the park is much more pleasurable. Whatever the task, find a way to enjoy it. This is probably the most effective motivation technique to use.

Reward Your Progress

Another great motivation technique is to set yourself some mini goals on your way to your final goal. As you achieve each of these mini goals reward yourself. Maybe you are trying to get and A in Biology in school. Your mini goals can include good grades on your tests and homework. For each grade that is 90 or better reward yourself. Take a night off from studying and go out with friends or spend a few hours reading that mystery novel you have been dying to finish. Whatever you choose make sure it is a special treat for you.

Find a Friend

Sometimes our friends and family can be great motivators. Choose someone who can really lift your spirits and keep you moving in the right direction. Nominate this person as you personal cheerleader and let them know you are relying on them to keep you moving and motivated. Be sure to pick a person who is upbeat, full of energy and can move you back on track with a push or shove if needed.

LELE KENYANG, HAMA HILANG

2011-02-03T17:39:00.000+07:00

Cara menyajikannya sangat gampang.

Jadi, sekali garuk keong mas, dua kepentingan terpenuhi.

5 TIPS MENJADI PENCAYA DIRI

2011-02-03T17:36:00.000+07:00

2. Menjadikan dirimu teman yang baik

Banyak orang sering berkata betapa mereka membenci diri mereka ketika sedang merasakan harga diri rapuh.

1. Google AdSense - Make money selling advertising space. While banner ads are not worth your time for the most part, Google AdSense is. Many web site owners make a comfortable living off of AdSense profit alone.

2. Affiliate Marketing - Make money referring your website traffic to other websites. Don't have a product? That is 100% O.K. Just add someone else product to your site by joining an affiliate program and forget about it. If you have related content (free information) you will see a slow trickle of income from your affiliate links.

3. Write an eBook - Sell your own idea or product. I know it sounds like a day dream, but people do this all the time. In fact, it is the most common method that people use to make money. Write an eBook, offer consultations, or make something people will use. In this category, you are only limited by your imagination.

4. Create an online directory - Sell text links. Add a directory area to your site and offer to place links to other web sites for a small fee.

5. Become a Paid Blogger. Offer to blog for companies. Blogging is fast becoming an important link building strategy for online companies. There are hundreds of small businesses that could benefit from a professional blog but, do not have the resources to hire a full time employee. You have a website, put it to use!

6. Open your own eBay store. Buy low, sell high. There is no easier place to sell than online with your own eBay store. You can concentrate on a particular type of product like coins and antiques or you can sell a wide variety.

7. Host an online competition. Offer prizes for the first, second and third place winners. Your competition can be on almost anything. Think of a way to offer a competition, create a small entry fee and you are set!

8. Create a member only area. You can create a members only site about anything from Fan Clubs, Online Newsletters, Courses and Training, Stock Trading Tips, Dating Sites, Personal Advice, Horoscopes, Family Trees, and so on. Again, your only limitation is your imagination. If you have a site already up and running, offer something in your paid member's area that they cannot easily get for free.

9. Begin a paid advice service. Free information is great and will draw readers to your site. Once there, help the reader out with some basic information. Save the real "meat" for those that are willing to pay a small fee.

10. Sell your site. Why drag on a project for years when you can get in, get out and turn a quick (albeit smaller) profit? Create your site, get it listed in the search engines, make sure you get a few dollars a week in online advertising and sell your site for a few thousand dollars.

JAPANESE BUDDHISM: Indian Influence with Chinese Collaboration

2011-02-01T20:59:00.000+07:00

By the time Buddhism reached Japanese shores it had already been transformed within India as well as in the passage across the Asian continent. On the one hand, Buddhism made a tremendous contribution to the religious scene in Japan. On the other hand, Buddhism was transformed by weight of the Japanese tradition. The twofold result is that while Japan became a Buddhist nation, Buddhism became a Japanese religion. In the initial or formative period it was the Buddhist impact upon Japanese culture and religion that was conspicuous. In the second or developmental period the Japanese transformations of Buddhism became more conspicuous.

Within Buddhist history there have come to be two major divisions along the lines of geography, doctrine, and practice. To the south of India, in countries such as Ceylon and Burma, there continued the tradition of monastic Buddhism which emphasized strict adherence to monastic rules or discipline, preservation of the scriptures of the Buddha, and doctrines which made salvation a long and difficult road for laymen. This division is often called southern Buddhism or Theravada (School of the Elders, or Monks). To the north of India and spreading across China to Japan, there continued the form of Buddhism which placed less importance on monastic discipline and greater importance on later scriptures (such as the Lotus Sutra), aspiration to the status of a Buddha, and rebirth in a heavenly paradise. Especially because this northern Buddhism insisted on the easy path to salvation for all people, it called itself Mahayana (the Large of Great Way). Although there are many similarities between these two divisions of Buddhism, and although the traditions of Southern Buddhism were brought to China and Japan, it was the Mahayana form of Buddhism which made the decisive impact in the Far East.

Buddhism entered Japan by way of Korea in the mid-sixth century. (Most authorities prefer the formal date of 552 A.D. or 538 A.D., even though Buddhist influence may have been present earlier.) The Nihongi records the first Japanese reference to Buddhism, when one of the Korean kings sent tribute to the Japanese emperor, including an image of Buddha and Chinese translations of Buddhist scriptures. The Korean king praised Buddhism as the religion of distant India whose doctrine surpasses even the understanding of the Chinese, and whose value is without limit. The introduction of Buddhism into Japan automatically provoked a conflict with the pre-existing religious tradition. The conflict was what stimulated the adoption of the name “Shinto” and the formal organization of the pre-existing tradition. However, the argument between budding Shinto and Buddhism was not carried on in terms of doctrine. Instead, the crucial question was whether or not to worship the statue of Buddha. (Buddhist art has exerted an amazing influence on Japanese religion and culture- the most conspicuous feature of the Buddhist temple is the presence of numerous statues of Buddhist divinities.) Naturally, the Korean descendants favored the adoption of Buddha- worship, whereas the Japanese families, priests of budding Shinto, maintained a firm opposition. The cult of Buddha underwent some sudden reversals, as in the case when a pestilence was attributed to the wrath of the national gods because the people were worshiping foreign deities. Eventually Buddhism became accepted as one of the religions of the realm, being elevated from a private cult celebrated in private homes to a state religion partly responsible for the welfare of the country.
