But here is a handful of sunflowers from the florist's sidewalk jungle.

Here is a blanket to spread on the grass for an afternoon.

Here is a song on the radio that calls for dancing.

Here is a chocolate bar I will share with you.

Here is a road sign, a notebook, photographs of those I have loved.

Here is a slice of bright blue sky, a hummingbird

Bitteroot Workshop with Catherine Gill and Bob Phinney

I just spent a great weekend getting re inspired to make time in my life for art! I took a Bitterroot Workshop taught by Catherine Gill and Bob Phinney. It rained the whole time, but we had great demos and critics, plus Qi Gong with Karl-Erik Andreasson. Cathe and Bob are masters of their craft, wonderful teachers full of great instructional wisdom and humor. The workshop was filled with great artists and it was wonderful to learn so much and make new friends!
