Rogue Gallery Spotlights Installation Artists for VAST

The Rogue Gallery & Art Center presents its Visual Art Studio Tour (VAST) on June 2 & 3, 2012. Community members are invited to visit 19 studios presenting the work of over 22 artists. This is a unique opportunity to meet artists, watch them demonstrate their crafts, get inspired, and buy art! Artists will be greeting the public in their studios from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Community members and visitors are invited to attend this unique, free, self-guided tour. All ages are welcome! Tour maps are available on line at www.roguegallery.org or at the Rogue Gallery & Art Center before and during the event.

Illahe Studios and Gallery June Events!

It's the season of outdoor living! As we begin to freely move and play in our beautiful southern Oregon landscape more join us in celebrating the inspirations of nature as felt and conveyed by these two rich artists featured at Illahe Studios and Gallery in the month of June. Penelope Dews brings us sculpted, soulful animals in ceramic and Jerry Shanafelt shares his passion for light and color in the world around us in his vibrant landscapes. Artist reception will be during the First Friday Art Walk on June 1st from 5 to 8 pm. Live music will be provided by local favorite, singer and guitarist, Jeff Kloetzel. Take a warm summer evening stroll with other art lovers. Wine and light refreshments will be served. Show runs through June 28th!
