Ludolf Liberts (1895-1959) was a painter, stage designer, professor at the figurative painting workshop at the Art Academy of Latvia, decorator at the Latvian National Opera, director at the State paper press.

Liberts achieved the widest recognition among the general public with his splendid paintings of European metropolises Paris and Venice as well his vivid portraits of cultural and public figures. In his works he created idols for the affluent part of society, who spent holidays in Nice, took gondola rides on the Venetian canals, traveled to Paris Opera or visited museums in London.

Les Oreades - This gallery was for me very interesting because you can see here merger of French and Russian art.

The idea for creating the gallery came in 1981 by a French musician, Edmond Rosenfeld. The name of the gallery can be translated as "mountain nymphs" - "oreades".

This gallery is Member of Association of European Business and has Export-licence for art works.

I think it is very good praxis if in your gallery page your clients can print your own electronic invitation to the exhibition.

One from gallerie's partner's is Marco Polo Presnja - the first Art Gallery Hotel in Moscow. Hm:) This area of hotels was for me new. Just now in Google I found - Art Gallery Hotel Amsterdam, Art Gallery Hotel in Acropolis, Gallery Hotel Art in FLORENCE.

For me this gallery was interesting with 2 things:

1) word "RUSSO" - from Italian it is Russian. From the first moment I thought I could see there art works of Russian painters;

2) gallery with long and interesting history.

The first seat of the gallery opened in Roma in 1987, year which Pasquale Addeo, great-grandfather of the actual owner Fabrizio Russo, inaugurated an antique gallery in via del Babuino. Later the activity was kept on by son-in-law Franco Russo, specialized as well in the nineteenth century, helped later by the brother Ettore. Ettore, with the third brother Antonio, opened in Piazza di Spagna the new seat of the Barcaccia, that become soon and up 1980 one of the most prestigious Italian Modern Art Gallery, establishing privilege relationships with one of the most important painters of the XXth century, Giorgio de Chirico, with an exclusive contract more then twenty years with him. Thanks to the passion and the seriousness of Ettore and Antonio Rosso, the gallery of Piazza di Spagna become a reference of the whole italian artistic market. For more then fourty years , the gallery exhibited the works of important italian and international artists in the seats of Via della Croce and Via della Fontanella.
