I've known Art since high school, we were best friends back in those days. I appreciate Art Paul Schlosser for what he has accomplished with the talents he was born with, and for being a loyal friend and wonderful father. Whatever the audiences are getting from Art Paul, that's on them. His body of work is culturally unique, and enriches Madison for its existence.

My wife and I had lunch with my old friend Art Paul Schlosser at the Parthenon on State Street last Saturday, July 14th, 2010. Art Paul, Eric Williams, and I were best friends at East High School in 1977 & 1978, and we've stayed friends all these years. Eric was in my 30-year high school reunion that same night, we're both class of 1980. Art was class of 1979. We were like the Three Musketeers back in the day. Here's a couple of pics of us at the Parthenon, and a few shots down State Street during Maxwell Street Days:
