Mix In this order the day before you drink. Overnight is ok

In a jar with a lid.

1 tbls lemon juice 🍋
1 tbls Olive or avocado oil 🥑
1 tbls Local Honey 🐝
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp turmeric
1/16 tsp to 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper ( up to your spice level)
Dash of fresh ground black pepper
Thoroughly mix
1 tbls chia seeds
6 oz bottled or filtered water 🥛 (room temperature)
Put on lid, give it a good shake. Place in fridge. In the morning give it a good shake.

This is the first thing you drink in the morning. All ingredients are better if you use fresh but sometimes you just have to make do. You can chew the seeds if you want but we mostly just drink whole.

A serene coastal landscape is depicted with lush greenery in the foreground and a calm blue sea stretching towards distant hills under a light sky. A variety of flowering plants adds splashes of color, enhancing the tranquil vibe of the seaside view. From a picture provided by Jami Kemp. 20" x 24" unframed. A view overlooking a bay on St. John's. I tried to capture that feeling everyone gets that visits there. A reverence that nature can provide in all its gory. USS Texas

2021-01-26T09:21:00.003-08:00

USS Texas

From a photo I saw in some Naval Archives. Do not remember which one. One of the first battleships after the conversion from partial steam and sail to full steam. The expression became common from its use During the civil war. In 1864, Rear Admiral David G. Farragut (first 4 star Admiral) used this expression in the battle of Mobile Bay to get his Navy advance quickly. Today this expression can be used while you work on any project. So full steam ahead! Lets paint 16" x 20" acrylic on canvas

"Goliath" 16" X 20 " Acrylic on canvas. Goliath is a fish that live in the little pond in our back yard. Some of you may recall the Doonesbury Pond. Its a bit like that. I don't recall the name yet, but if I do I will edit it. Its a little pond that we put a gold fish in about a year ago. we thought he didn't make alone with his other friends. (Its a whole other story to that one) He managed to survive and grow quite big on his own after just one year. Just made himself known one day and I thought that he deserved a painting. Now he Visits us when I give him treats and has started to recognize us.
