Her latest book is Entertain Us: The Rise of Nirvana, where she examines the narrative of the iconic and influential band through their early music and first album, Bleach.

Shannon Gee talks with Phil Campbell, author of the memoir Zioncheck for President—a book about Phil’s experience as the campaign manager for Grant Cogswell’s 2001 Seattle City Council bid. Zioncheck was optioned and made into the movie Grassroots, which was the Closing Night film of the 2012 Seattle International Film Festival and will come to movie theaters this summer.
