1.  Personal Reflection - Which area of you life (home, church, work, play, etc) most needs to see you live out this principle?  Who in your life most needs to hear you repent for selfishness in this area?

2.  Kingdom Reflection - How does our study of the characteristics of the kingdom affect this issue?  How does it make you think of this passage differently?  How does it reinforce your previous thoughts?

3.  Theological Issue - What does this passage call for when our neighbor’s desire is to bring us harm or even death?

4.  Artifact Issue - How do we stand for sound doctrine and have respect for everyone in our ministry as a church?  Give an example of a ministry we could begin doing in this manner.

5.  Cultural Issue - Our society has made a virtue of wandering or seeking but it is very suspicious of people who offer answers or solutions.  In other words our culture likes to seek but it is not so sure about finding.  In light of this mindset and our passage how should we offer truth to our society as a whole?

5.  Cultural Issue - How does being the light of the world affect our views of being citizens of America?  Our national pride?  Our thoughts on domestic policy?  Our thoughts on social policy?  Our thoughts on foreign policy?

2.  Kingdom Reflection - How does our study of the characteristics of the Kingdom of Heaven affect this teaching?  How does it make you think of this passage differently?  How does it reinforce your previous thoughts on this passage?

3.  Theological Issue - When we are called to confront how do we determine what really matters from what only seems to matter?

4.  Artifact Issue - In our current context (given our environment and our size) what issue/s should Artifact set as our priority?  How should we be attempting to influence it/them?

5.  Cultural Issue - In this election season what political issue/s is most in need of a Christian influence?  How should we attempt to influence it/them?
