PGT Season 2 Grand Winner- Marcelito Pomoy sways Araneta Coliseum by singing "The Prayer"!

25-year-old Marcelito Pomoy has rocked the stage he was performing on during the first screening for Pilipinas Got Talent Season Two and he has yet again rocked Araneta Colesium with his lovely rendition of "The Prayer".

When he first sung for the crowd he looked calm and guileless that many people would overlook him. But when he opened his mouth to sing "Narito Ako" by Regine Velasquez the crowd went wild even show hosts- Luis Mansano and Billy Crawford (who looked totally bored before Marcelito started singing),and judges- AiAi delas Alas, Kris Aquino, and Freddie "FMG" Garcia were dumbfounded.

Marcelito went to Manila to find and reunite with his family and by PGT he managed to achieve that goal. Little did he know that he would also be the cause of a major uproar on the internet.Later he became one of youtubes video hits garnering over a truckload of views in one day.

MUMBLINGS: The first time I saw Marcelito walk to the center of the stage during the screening, I was just like other's who were obviously bored to tears. I was even thinking, and probably the others too, that this'll just be another waste of time.

But something in the way he walks and the confidence he so obviously posesses made me think twice. And he did not disappoint. The moment he opened his mouth the crowd had gone wild. Even Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford, who were tinkering with thier phones at the entrance side of the stage, looked up and had astounded looks on their faces mouths wide agape. They begin to jump up and down, throwing their fists in the air and shouting "This is it!This is it! We have our grand winner!". Little did they know that a few weeks later what they spouted actually came true. Honestly people, I was having doubts as to who would become the grand winner when many's sympathy went to "Happy Feet" who has also shown not only great but unique talent in the eyes of Pinoy's.

But there you have it boy's and girl's! As Marcelito sung "The Prayer", little did he know that his own personal prayer was being heard. He's family was complete just to watch his performance and he managed to become the new grand winner for PGT. I'm actually excited what talents will pop up this next season.

ABS-CBN Director Ricky Rivero answer on The Buzz about Hans Ivan Ruiz!

In case nobody knows about the incident that happened to former actor turned director Ricky Rivero, he was stabbed repeatedly seventeen (17) times by the suspect- a friend, who he met a few months before on facebook, named Hans Ivan Ruiz. While Director Ricky was recovering from the fatal wounds inflicted on him by the suspect the media went into a frenzy over this and a few powerful voices in showbiz shows a reaction of utter furry and wonderment as to why this would happen to such a kind person.

On the other hand Ruiz openly admits that He was not at all aware that he was stabbing Ricky and only snapped out of the trance when Ricky tries to defend himself and asking why he was doing that to him. He also claims that after he snapped out from the trance he even helped the director wash up the wounds and look for help but the the evidence says otherwise.

The director's sister said on an interview that what Hans' feeble attempts of an excuse were pathetic and that he should be ashamed of himself. She also said that a case will be filed against him and he will pay for what he has done.

MUMBLINGS: What I admire so much about Director Ricky during this interview is that he openly admitted that something did happen between the suspect and the him before but it was clear that it will never lead into anything more because aside from the fact that probably they both felt that it wasn't worth ending their friendship over, Hans was also in a relationship. He also admits that he, too, was baffled about the reason why that was done to him since he and Hans haven't fought about anything or even had any misunderstandings that he knows of at that time.

This happening has garnered a great reaction from TV host and manager Boy Abunda. He openly said on his late night show "The Bottom Line" and "The Buzz" that he felt infuriated and bereft in behalf of all bisexuals who suffer indignities just like this situation and I think he felt the need to defend these people because masses nowadays judge these people, instead of them being victims people make them as the villains.

Personally, I agree with Mr. Boy Abunda that these people should not suffer the scrutiny of being judged by strangers in concern to their choices be it love or their lifestyle. AND I also think that if people could judge Bisexuals on who they are and what they are, why don't they look at themselves first. Ask themselves if they aren't hiding something. At least these people have the courage to be open with their preferences. I just hate it when other people talk before they think. Don't you realize, as to what happened to Director Ricky, that they've suffered enough nightmare?

It's just sad to think that people seem so narrow minded on these kinds of matters.

People, I may seem biased because I am! It's not that I'm 'Bi'. It has something to do with my circle of friends. We're a rowdy group of everything mixed together and we love, respect, and cherish each other and we try to be there for each other as much as we can. And if you ask me....

THEY DON'T DESERVE TO BE HURT TWICE BECAUSE OF WHAT AND WHO THEY ARE, OF THE CHOICES THEY MAKE, AND WHO THEY WANT TO LOVE.

We are all human. We commit mistakes with the choices we make, but we don't deserve to be condemned because of them. Take for example that you were looking at yourself on the ground and shaking. A line has been crossed on sand and there's a single stone in your hand, would you choose to throw that stone at yourself for making the mistake or do otherwise?

Those who follow my mumblings, know for a fact that I'm a sucker for these kinds of stories. Anyway, in the near end you'll find lot's of unexpected twist and turns that'll just squeeze your heart

MUMBLINGS: This would probably be the most funniest story I have ever read this month! I've stumbled on the first book of Sherrilyn Kenyon's series "B.A.D" by accident when I bought a series book and at first I wasn't even aware that that one story was actually part of a collection. Anyway, the first story was a bit intense, yes, it was funny but not like this! the characters pose as something lethal yet they display charm and those who think they're harmless would really think otherwise when they go all combat mode. What I like about this is that the male character was the one determined to have the female main character. They both have very noble reason's why they ended up doing what they do and they're verbal sparing would rather turn you on than make you want to take sides at whoever you'd think has a point.

Anyway, now I'm following the series and hopefully I'll be able to post my thoughts about the next book by tomorrow. Till then, adieu!

Nabagot kaya si Mamang Driver? Jeepney Trip

Today, me and a co-worker rode a jeep heading for work. It was one thing to be almost late for work and getting reprimanded by the boss but it's quite another to have to listen to Shakira sing "Waka Waka" on the stereo of the jeep you're riding. Honestly, I'd rather be shot than to hear another tune, word, or anything remotely related to "Waka Waka" again.

Don't get me wrong, Shakira is more than an okay singer/artist and the song has it's quirks but, DEAR GOD! - to hear it at almost everywhere you go, every corner you turn to seems a bit extreme. Yeah! Yay for those who were involved in producing "Waka Waka", but man tune it down a bit.

So anyway, I kept on complaining about the sound, grumbling on my own and thinking that no one was minding me when the music suddenly changed into "Poker Face". I looked at the front seat noticing that Mamang driver was looking at me and the shook his head and went back to focusing on the road.

I didn't even try to hide my amusement!

Really, do you think Mamang driver was irritated or not?

I DECLARE THIS DAY SLEEP DAY

Why? Because almost all the employees in our office are sleeping including our boss and the guess what their postures are! RIGHT! The classic sitting down while prettending to work posture! Really funny though cuz the doors are always open in our office and it doesn't have any block to prevent it from closing should a strong wind blow making it close itself. So anyway, the people were sleeping -THANK GOD even though I'm sleepy I have the drive to at least finish up what I'm doing because I really need a little breathing room with the workload- and strong wind blows the door close really loud bringing the guys into an abrupt attention!

Really! I can't stop myself from laughing making my sleepiness fade away and my tummy to hurt so much!

Whoo! What a BLAST! Good thing they didn't end up like this little guy...

MUMBLINGS: Man! Gena Showalter has always been one of my favorite authors! It all started when I bought her book by chance (Animal Instinct) and, boy, did I blush to the ends of my hair roots! I don't mind telling you that I'm a jaded person and because it was so HOT even I had the grace to feel shy while reading it. This however is still hot but it more or less sends out the feeling of how justice prevails against injustice. And it shows REAL GIRL POWER! Kick Ass! That's what I'd like to label this book! It's part of Showalter's series "Alien Huntress" and I've read another book of the series and it, too was thrilling that you won't be able to put down the book till it ends!

Now, about the characters; it kinda' takes Devyn's edge with his egotistical ways when he really would force Eden to be his Love Slave and refused to release her to save Lucius and the other slaves. His attitude totally changes on "Seduce the Darkness". Hope I could do a review on that book. Hmmm... Maybe when I buy a hardcopy of the book.

Anyway, I really love how the main characters attracts each other. It wasn't just pure undiluted passion but something both of them weren't ready to name.I was really touched though when Sean told Annie about what he used to do and when Annie decides to accept him he still wants to let her go, she turns around but not without saying "I'll be waiting".

The big shocker was that Annie wasn't the hick she wanted the people to see. And boy was Sean shocked to see her family home.

Today, I expected to finish such a loooong list of things my client wanted done. I guess I expected to at least finish up making accounts when around near noon he mailed me with another set of tasks need to get done! I was like ready to explode. Good thing he missed on sending a certain file so I'd have to do it tomorrow since he'd be asleep until tonight. So now I'm stuck on a very tidious task but it's boring the hell out of me. At least now I know what to do when I get my hands on those missing files.

MUMBLINGS: And it doesn't get any HOTTER that THIS! Oh man! I started out appreciating Leslie Kelly's work when I read "She's got the Look" & "She's no Angel" AND THIS changes everything! What caught my attention at first was how Lacey was related to J.T., her boss. The narration of the story was all mysterious and all and the impression it gave off was anxiety in Lacey's part on what J.T. would reveal to the whole of Baltimore during that time. It turned mysterious into hilarious in the blink of an eye when Lacey met Nate, her known nemesis. Why hilarious?

1.) They did not know each other
2.) Nate decided to go on a little swim ACCIDENTALLY, mind you, after becoming a watching a grand show featuring Lacey's hot lingerie.
3.) Lacey was unaware that she was not alone in the gym and that she was having a peepshow while bouncing on a trampoline.
4.) Lacey saves Nate and because it was practically 4th of July with all the sparks flying they end up having wild-monkey-no-holds-bar-sex on the trampoline.

And last but not the least reason why it's so hilarious?

5.) Because after the sex they DID NOT lock the gym door and ended up getting caught by Lacy's father, J.T.(Oh yeah! That was a real sucker punch for Nate since J.T.'s also his boss), and best friend, Raul.

Can you now see why I love her sooo much?!
What's awesome? The reason Nate and Lacey are enemies in the first place is because of their different beliefs in human attraction. YEAH! It's the battle of the sexes!

Been trying to finish off this series by Susan Mallery and AT LAST!!! I finished it yesterday, so far I've been hooked up with "Under her Skin" and "Hot on Her Heals" and I'll go through hell and back just to get me a copy of these books (just so you guys know, when I really like a book I read from my ebook reader I put it on a list so I could look for it when I go in a bookstore...
