   &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Except egg cells and sperm cells – all cells contain 46 chromosomes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div&gt;Egg and sperm cells – contain 26 chromosomes.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chromosomes&lt;/strong&gt; – made of a complicated &lt;strong&gt;chemical called deoxyribonucleic acid&lt;/strong&gt; (DNA).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;DNA&lt;/strong&gt; – like spiral ladder – made of small unit &lt;strong&gt;called genes&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Genes &lt;/strong&gt;–&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
