When we give the Gift of Love, we are giving from our heart without any expectations of receiving in return. We don't have to give from our wallet to be giving, either. When we 'show' we care; when we 'show' compassion, understanding, empathy; when we have and 'show' respect for others; when we do something, even seemingly small like helping another carry something or things or hold the door for another or say something to cheer up another; when we listen to another to actually listen; when we give up just some of our time for another or others are all ways to give the Gift of Love. There are so many ways to give the Gift of Love that do not cost a single cent and giving should be throughout the entire year, not just around Christmas. When we give selflessly, our self worth, self esteem, and self respect are all boosted. Therefore, when we give to others, we gift ourselves as well and no amount of money can buy this for us. Regardless of our faith, in Love we can believe,

We set aside 'one' day for thanks to give,
But shouldn't we every day, this way choose to live?

It's all Hallow's Eve, with tricks up their sleeve,
Trick or treaters have begun their descending
Upon this spooky night, packed with fright,

Wounded-Healers

Wounded Healers have learned these lines well (from my poem, "Gifted By God"):

"Oftentimes, when with our life, we're dissatisfied,
We give in and accept that our misery's justified.
But just one adjustment, a change to/in our objective,
Can make all the difference when we alter our perspective.

When we understand why there are struggles in our life,
All with silver linings in spite of stress and strife,
We afford ourselves the ability to negate the negative,
Transform it into positive to be wiser how we live.

Not only wiser but more humble with our ego more subdued
To be more considerate of others, instead of callous, rude.
We're all a work in progress with each our own path to carve;
Who we are, become, depends upon what traits we feed or starve." ♥

Inspired by my dear friend, Naomi, Delilah, and all the Wounded Healers, who inspire us to have the courage, strength, and perseverance we need to get through our own struggles and challenges, by conquering and rising above their own painful experiences, whether they be physical, emotional/mental, or both, as is often the case, this poem needed to be brought out into the Light. Writing it, I thought of all those who have faced and who are facing great battles in their life, but instead of allowing them to define them, they 'choose' to define themselves through faith, hope, and courage, while maintaining Love and the traits of Love in their heart, instead of wallowing in self pity, with bitterness and resentment in their heart.

To post this poem, I wanted to also display with it an example of a true "Wounded Healer", and this lady, Delilah, surely fits this role. She uses her well known show to bless others, to encourage others, to spread the Message of Love. I listen to her show almost every night through the radio station I listen to, B95.5, WYJB-FM, which, if you look in the lower right hand column of this blog, you'll see I have there embedded a live stream to my radio station Delilah's show is aired on from 7:00 - Midnight, Eastern time. But it will only show on the "http" version of my blog currently, because I haven't figured out how to make it show over the "https" one. I'm not one who is savvy with technical stuff. Hence, I'm sharing this video, with Delilah talking with Robin Roberts, another lovely specimen of a beautiful soul, who has also faced and through her personal struggles and challenges, has inspired so many. These are people we need to inspire us through our own struggles and challenges. These are our best examples of human heroes, along with our service men and women, our firefighters, our police officers, and our emergency responders. ♥

We tend to get all gaga over movie actors/actresses, entertainers, sports players, politicians (regardless of what office they hold), wealthy people, etc., but they aren't our heroes. Our heroes are those who make a positive difference; who influence our lives in a positive way; who inspire us to want to keep the faith, to hang in there, to hold onto hope, and to remind us we have value, not in our wallets, but within us, within our hearts, and we each matter and have importance. ♥

Anyone who knows me well, knows I'm not one who gets all excited over a celebrity, entertainer, politician, etc.. I'm not one who publicly honours the same, either. So, when I do, you can bet I'm doing so because I believe in the person I'm honouring and because I want the person to KNOW they are valued and appreciated, which I do for/with the same thoughts and reasoning, when I compliment anyone. There's little point in saying words that aren't meant and felt within your heart. I'm a firm believer in "Credit earned is credit due", as well. I only advocate for those and what I believe in and I don't receive compensation for doing so, nor do I have any desire to. My blogs are simply for sharing with others the Gifts God blessed me with, creativity through writing and art, in the hopes others will in turn feel blessed in some positive way as well. ♥

Since I'm not one who gets excited or goes gaga over celebrities and such, I likewise feel no need whatsoever to go to a show to watch a performance, singing or otherwise. I can think of much better ways to use the money such would cost. I've never had much money, but I'm not a materialistic person, either. Even if I had more money, I highly doubt I would be wasteful with it, simply because 'things' aren't what matters most. Lives do and lives in need especially do. For e.g., clothes at a thrift store or a yard sale, as long as they are still in good, wearable condition, are just as good as those in the store, where they cost a lot more, and wearing them is more than fine with me. Practical is wisest, I think, but there's nothing more practical, more fitting than helping someone in need. ♥

I recall a number of years ago now, when I was about to leave a Stewart's Shop. I had bought gas for my car, milk, and a few other needed items and I had just $20 left to my name. But that $20 I held onto in case we'd need something else in the near future before I was able to earn more. As I was leaving, a woman approached my car and wrapped on my window. She clearly was desperate for help and was crying.

She told me her situation and I remember thinking, "Suppose this is a con. I only have $20." But then I thought, "Suppose she really is in need and if I don't help her, then what?" The latter thought outweighed the fore and so, I gave her my last $20. I even felt bad that I didn't have more to give her. She was so grateful and she said it was enough as we both said to each other, "God bless you." ♥

There's a point, a moral, to this true story and it is, giving to another from the heart, without expecting anything in return, is NEVER a bad thing, only good. If the receiver is unappreciative, is pulling a con, or chooses to give a negative response for whatever reason, how they receive, react, or reply, has NO bearing on the giving or the giver. The giving cannot be made into something bad. I gave her my last $20, but what I received in return is priceless, in spite of expecting nothing. The feeling inside I felt knowing I had done something, though very small, for another that made their life a little better, a little easier, all the money and possessions in the world cannot facilitate. My advice: Don't worry about giving. Just give and give from the heart. The giving reflects well on you. How your giving is taken, whether appreciated or not, reflects on the receiver. So, don't ever let fear of how your giving will be received, stop you from giving. ♥

Back to Delilah, if you're looking for, yearning for, more than the everyday bickering, bitterness, and overall disrespect so well portrayed in our world today, especially on the Internet, and you want to listen and connect to/with something/someone positive, inspiring, exhibiting and promoting Love, caring, respect, etc., I suggest to give a listen to Delilah. In this bleak and troubled world, she is surely a powerfully bright ray of sunshine, who shines the Light of Love this world so DESPERATELY needs. ..And her latest book, which I'm going to purchase, which I view as practical, since inspiration is priceless, is "One Heart At A Time". Wounded Healers do not wallow
In a quagmire, pitying their pains,
But invert negatives into positives
By changing losses into gains.

With immense courage unrelenting
Fueling their strong determination,
Their unwavering perseverance,
Makes them our best inspiration.

Their choice to rise above
And preserve their dignity
Gives proof of their resilience
In no greater human capacity.

There are many Wounded Healers
Who've suffered and have grieved,
Not deserving human vileness,
Though innocent, they've received.

Regardless of what pain
Or by what means derived,
Wounded Healers show us best with
How they've conquered and survived.

Wounded Healers are among us;
Angels, with wings and without,
Exemplary souls showing us what
Faith, hope, and Love are about.

They are our shining stars
Who show for us the way
How faith and courage works
To reap, in spite of what we pay.

Wounded Healers use their own pain
To help others then to heal,
Since they understand perfectly
And relate to the pain others feel.

When we, ourselves, are suffering,
We can look to them and gain
The strength we need to carry on,
Knowing we can rise above our pain.

Wounded Healers are our heroes
Who fight adversity with grace.
They are our grandest champions
Who inspire the entire human race!

Most men can be a father, not requiring any skill
Beyond an encounter that will give them a thrill.
But here's where comes in to play the dividing line,
Since a Dad is someone special, planned by God Divine.

To be a Dad takes more than a roll in the hay;
Is more than what biology can ever hope to say.
A Dad loves his children, cares for them for life,
Sees being a Dad a joy and not burden laden strife.

Fathers are a dime a dozen, with plenty of them around,
But among the fathers, the Dads, fewer of are found.
Then there are the Dads where biology plays no roll at all,
Yet, step up to the plate as Dad, to fill another man's call.

To be fair this holds true with women and also does apply,
Since most can be mothers, but many, as Moms, come up shy.
Being a father or a mother is a biological roll,
But without them as Dads and Moms, the children pay the toll.

Most any man can be a father, have this title given them,
But the role of Dad is reserved for a man who is a gem.
A man who fathers a child and turns his back is a cad,
While a real man sees fatherhood as a privilege to be Dad.

Being a Dad is much more than a financial liability;
Requires guidance of a man with principles and integrity.
A Dad encourages his children with Love and support,
Disciplines as needed but abuse NEVER to will resort.

Instead of Happy Fathers Day, let's make it more correct
To honour those deserving and may the day's name reflect
The true heroes to their children, through actions ironclad,
And so, I wish a Happy Dads Day to each and every Dad!

God Lives Inside My Heart, Most Loving is thee part,
My truest, deepest place, of my beating heart.
He lives in my heart as thee One I Exalt,
But also as the part of me, naturally by default.

He speaks to me softly so that I may hear,
To know He's always with me, that I needn't fear.
To listen to Him speak, silent I must be,
My attention only focused on the Voice of He.

Guiding my heart and soul, is His Presence so Divine,
By Intuition and Conscience deep in this heart of mine.

God leads my heart. God shows the way.

That I may be close to hear God's Holy Voice.
When I follow my heart in accordance to His Will,
Then I'm following Him, whether down or uphill.

I know He tests my Faith, even lets me go astray,
So the feeling lost from Him, I will know and feel dismay
And lost from His comfort, His Abiding Love so Great,
I'll desire to return to Him. I will not hesitate.

God resides in my heart, keeps my lantern burning bright,
That it may radiate and to others show my Light.
So other souls lost can know and hope and see
There is a better path for them to from darkness be set free.

God Lives Inside My Heart, gives His Blessings so profound,
Gives that I may share them, with Love, spread around.
God Lives Inside My Heart as my Master, as my Lord.
His Truth is my shield. His Love is my sword.

My Easter Poem for 2018 I wrote and entered in Poetry Soup's "Easter - 2018" Contest, asking for a poem about Easter with a contemporary theme...

"Easter, THEE Sacrifice"

Easter will again be here and very soon,
But Easter brings sadness I cannot seem to prune.
After my Mother left, Easter's not the same
Since our Lord, to bring her home, called upon her name.

Easter this year in two thousand and eighteen
Will be even harder, I cannot contravene.
For my little girl, who's not so little any more
Will spend this Easter far away, on a distant shore.

So many memories of Easter though, will decorate my brain,
As I turn back the clock, letting all share the reign.
All the Easter baskets and the Easter hunts so fun,
Each memory I dust off carefully, every precious one.

I'll watch the Ten Commandments, keep our tradition true,
Remembering Easter's true meaning, Jesus is why we do.
When God Sacrificed His Son, what a Sacrifice He made,
For through the Blood of Jesus, our sins for, He paid.

When I think of God being stricken so with profound grief
To watch His Son suffer on the cross forbidden of relief,
This brings to mind surreally the magnitude of pain
I'm unable to comprehend and my tears I can't restrain.

For I think of my daughter and all those overseas,
Who put their lives on the line without guarantees
They'll come home safe and sound when their tour is done
And also, all the families who've lost a dear, loved one.

I know this is not the same but I more so realize
And I am humbled so profoundly as I can't visualize
The cost of God's Sacrifice because God so Loves us all
And to my knees it brings me, for I can only God, extol.

What else could be greater than what Spring displays
That could humble us more, give God all the praise?
God so Loves us all He gave His only Begotten Son
For our lives to be Eternal, each and every one!

We think we know so much about Love and sacrifice;
About the meaning of forgiveness and of life, the price,

Spring has come; Spring is here,
‘Tis the season, the time of year,
When all across the northern Earth
There’s life renewed, as well new birth.
No season can compare nor can one bring
The splendor of life, like the time of Spring.

Though winter tries to hang around
To keep so cold the frozen ground
For its crystal art and flakes of white,
To be preserved, its wondrous sight,
Spring has sprung in sheer defiance,
Since with life, Spring has alliance.

Mother Nature has rested long,
Quiet’s been the robin’s song
During winter’s hush of crystal down
Draped over life’s dormant brown.
But with nature’s stirring, waking yawning,
Winter fades into Spring’s new dawning.

The Earth is changing, slowly warming,
Like a metamorphosis transforming,
As earth’s frozen cocoon melts away,
For Spring to colour the winter's grey;
Like a canvas just brown and white
In transformation to colours bright.

A brand new world is upon the scene,
Winter’s whitewash now budding green,
As Spring unfolds, the curtain draws
On a frozen wonder as winter thaws
Under the sun's rays. shining stronger
Through daylight hours lingering longer.

Melted, crystal clouds spill their overflow
Onto the waiting, waking Earth just below,
Creating an atmosphere of enchanted mist
That when the sun's warmer rays've kissed,
Spectrums of colours over the Earth, high,
Arc as rainbows in splendor across the sky.

Spring's cleansing rains prepare expecting Earth,
Making it fresh and clean for all coming new birth.
With the dormant stage of winter lost to the past,
A new stage of life's arrived for many months to last.
Everywhere, life is springing up around,
Evolving is a new wonder, one so profound.

The meadows turn a plush and velvet green,
With rainbow dipped flowers added to the scene,
Drawing in the busy bees, offering nectar, sweet,
To make their honey from, for their young to eat.
The forest is a bustling with creatures on its floor
To welcome family newborns, in preparation for.

High among the trees, many birds by the pair
Are building nests anew as their songs fill the air.
All the sleeping trees have awakened too;
Are busy growing foliage, all fresh and new
And the little seedlings all want to try,
Like their parent trees, to reach and touch the sky.

Winter is a wonderland in its own right
With nature in its slumber all dressed in white,
But the wonderland of Spring is one profound,
As nature is awakened with new life all around.
Spring exhibits the greatest show on Earth,
The true essence of life, the miracle of birth.

Thee Master of Creation with His Master Hand,
With His Touch Divine, all across the land;
Thee Master Artist with His Magic Strokes,
With His rainbow palette, new life He invokes
Through His Breath of Life and by His Divine Love
Paints earth in 'living' colour, there is no equal of.

But Spring in all its splendor with miracles abounding,
God's Masterpiece of Life, immeasurably astounding,
Can't compare to God's Love, the Sacrifice He made,
Offered for us His only Son to suffer and be slayed
For our souls to be cleansed of sin by the Blood of His Son,
That we would have Eternal Life, each and every one.

I'm sorry to my readers that I haven't posted in my blogs for awhile. Every year is a bit tough for me to get through, beginning with Thanksgiving, through Christmas, and then throughout the month of January.

I lost my beloved Mother eleven years ago, January 18, which makes this time of year especially difficult for me. Regardless of what anyone may say, a profound loss never gets any easier to cope or live with. You just have to find a way to carry on without them and for the most part you do, but not without moments and times that are more difficult than the rest.

However, besides this, one year ago on January 28th, 2017, I also lost my beloved sister to cancer. She lived a clean, honest, faithful to God, life. She didn't smoke, drink, or engage in an unhealthy living style whatsoever. She was a modest, reserved, studious, intellectual type with integrity and valued human values. Yet, she was afflicted with the dreaded and horrific disease of cancer.

As I will and often do when I'm going through an emotional overload, I have been lost on my computer with my art. Not only is being creative at the core of my being with art and writing, it is also very therapeutic for me.

In the past I used to be able to work on my computer and be online at the same time. So I didn't usually get lost lost while delving into being creative. Now, however, and since October 4th, 2015, when the computer programmer (who has been stalking me and invading my privacy since at least the beginning of 2007, hacking into my computers and phones) destroyed my computer's harddrive, I now do not put my computer online, making spending time on it creating a separate activity from my online time. Besides this, anything I do on my computer I have to move onto a flashdrive and plug it into then, my Chromebook. Because of this inconvenience I tend to work on my computer until I get a considerable amount done before I follow through as I've explained. Often I don't even realise I've been on my computer a long time without also going to my Chromebook to go online. When I do take a brief break from my computer, it's usually because my daughter or my sister has brought something or wants to bring something to my attention. Even then though, if I'm heavily involved with an artistic endeavor or endeavors, my stay online is brief because of wanting to get back to it/them.

Working with/on my computer is especially enjoyable for me now since Mr. Spy On Me can no longer access my computer to see and watch everything I'm doing on it as he used to do, which he proved to me beyond all doubt when I had convinced him I needed to re-create a particular event back in 2009, which implicated him and his 'extra curricular activities' related to his 'watching/stalking/playing his mind games' with me. When he thought I "needed to" re-create the event, he proceeded to do a number of things to prevent me from fulfilling my mission, which in turn proved to me that he KNEW what I was doing on my computer, thereby incriminating himself even more.

A close male friend of mine had asked me to carry out the project because he suspected Mr. Spy, if he was guilty of invading my computer, would inevitably prove he was. ..And Mr. Spy did exactly this. So then I wrote where I knew Mr. Spy would see what I wrote that my friend was smarter than he. This hurt Mr. Spy's ego and so then he had to prove "he" was the smarter one and then proceeded to access my computer and move a file from one folder to another, a brand new one I had just created, and then back to it's original place, AND this while my friend and I watched in complete astonishment. Mr. Spy HAD TO PROVE to me what all he is capable of doing, HAD TO PROVE I was wrong about my friend being smarter than him. But in so doing, he volunteered more incriminating evidence that he was hacking into my computer. Arrogance makes its host do really stupid things!

I dare say that most people who use a computerized device, such as a computer or a cell phone, are completely unaware of how vulnerable the majority of us users are for someone with extreme, extensive computer technology skills to gain access to us, everything about us, through the tech devices we use. But NOT I! Mr. Spy has taught me impeccably well, has burned me indescribably so, and I've become incredibly, acutely aware of just how unconscionably malicious a person can be through the wrongful use of computer technology. I can't hate such a person because it's been made crystal clear how pathetic his life must truly be to engage himself in such vile, detestable behaviour. I can only feel sorry for such an individual who apparently believes his life, his self, is so worthless he has to resort to such drastically low measures as his purpose in life.

To add another delay in my being online, I was sickened on February 11th by drinking 3-4 ounces of a brand of buttermilk I've never had before from Kate's Creamery. I'm just now starting to feel better. Hopefully, I will be posting more often. However, my online presence does not and will not ever take precedence over my life offline, my real life. As much as I enjoy having and posting on my blogs, my life and people in my life whom I Love dearly, come first, is and always will be my primary focus and concern. Hence, I post on my blogs as "my life permits". Be safe and God bless everyone! ♥

I Love the Nativity Scene....

*laughing* I needed to change the battery in my wireless mouse and in the process I must have hit "publish". So now I'm resuming...

This work had its roots with taking some pictures of a little Nativity Scene I have and I bring out and display every Christmas. It plays Christmas Carols as well. Although very inexpensive, to me the miracle of all miracles it represents is what's priceless.

So, I took some photos (which I entered in an Elftown contest) and then in 2014 I decided to create a digital work of a Nativity Scene. I worked a couple months on it in 2014 but I still needed much more time. In 2015 I had no computer because its harddrive was destroyed on October 4th, 2015. In 2016 I resumed my working on this with another couple of months, but I was able to finish it by Christmas. ..And here you see the finished work. ♥

ART-THIEVES

I'm sure many artists can relate to having their artwork stolen in one capacity or another. Whether another takes an artist's work and claims it as their own or uses another's work to make money off of it or reproduces/redistributes it leaving off/omitting the creator's name, all these constitute infringing on/violating the creator's copyright rights. But also and maybe especially, those who have or show no regard for an artist's work, tell the artist point blank that the artist's work, time, and effort are worthless, yet, take from the artist what the artist's time and effort produced. How would most people like it if they were in essence told their work of time and effort is worthless?

Then for other people to classify artists as overly dramatic, vain, insecure, praise seeking, etc. when we complain about our work being stolen, makes such people just about as bad as the thieves! I wonder how many people would like it if they went to work at their job and then someone else got their paychecks instead? How is it any different for an artist to claim and defend what they earn through their time and effort than anyone else's time and effort? Everyone else's work, time, and effort who is not an artist is valuable but an artist's work, time, and effort is not!?

I just read an article on the Urban Dictionary: Art Theft by Angry Cosecant October 23, 2008, particularly the second and third paragraphs, which read:

"Since artists are incredibly vain, terribly insecure and need praise to survive in the same way animals need oxygen, Art Theft is considered the eighth deadly sin on online art websites such as DeviantArt, SheezyArt and StormArtists. Being an art thief gets you banned and sent straight to hell to burn for all eternity in the flames of the site's members.

Warnings pointing to this fact can be easily found in the thousands upon thousands of poorly made "Anti Art-Theft" stamps and clubs available on said websites. An ironic fact is that 95% of the people who bitch about art theft do not actually have the artistic talent to make their art worth stealing."

We artists are "incredibly vain"!? "Terribly insecure"!? "Need praise to survive..."!? We aren't supposed to defend and protect "our work, time, and effort" but those who aren't artists only have such a right!? Then if we defend our art and complain against the thieves, we're bitching and it's because our art isn't worth stealing? If our art isn't worth stealing, then why is it being stolen? People don't covet and steal junk or crappy stuff from other people, just like people aren't jealous and envious over another's lesser, undesirable traits. People covet, are jealous and envious of that which they "wish they had" and lacking qualities of character needed to work and earn for themselves what they're envious of in others, they choose to steal rather than work for and earn. The person who wrote this article must have the brain of an amoeba! ..And so likely won't get the meaning of this statement, either.

When any of us do something, exert time and energy into something, whatever it may be, then the time and effort is ours to "rightfully" claim. We've "earned" the right to claim the time and effort of ourselves we have invested. If someone else steps in and assumes rights to and ownership of our time and effort, naturally and rightfully so, we're going to be upset and feel slighted, offended, definitely wronged, and so, likely angry, all reasonable and rational responses for 'anyone' to feel, including artists.

If we work towards earning something and then after all we've done and have reached the point where what we've earned is ours, then someone else steps in and takes that which we've worked for and earned, we aren't going to be happy campers about it. We are going to feel robbed to say the least. Artists are no different and have the same right as anyone else does to feel violated.

What is not helping digital artists particularly, are these websites that download artists' works from other sites and then upload them to their own site where they then offer the stolen images from and never mention the creator's name or the creator's website, making it appear to the visitors of their site, 'they' are offering some great service to the public, but in fact are offering others' works they've stolen and are not theirs at all. It's copyright infringement because these 'thief galleries' do not have the right to reproduce or redistribute copyrighted material and when they leave off the name of the creator/copyright holder besides, these online thief galleries are committing fraud!

Regardless of what these thief galleries say on their websites about the usage of the stolen images they're hosting, they themselves are in violation of copyright as I just pointed out. Here's an example of one of these thief galleries' page entitled "Copyright Policy":

"Please do not ask for permissions to use these images in your projects, as we do not own the copyrights for them. All images displayed on the site are provided only for personal use. In case of an error where you are the owner of an image and feel it is used unknowingly, please email us at admin[@]pngmart.com so we can immediately remove it from our website. We do not intend to display any copyright protected images."

Now let's break these words in their 'copyright policy' down:
They admit they don't own the copyright to the images they're hosting and so, cannot grant permission to use them. (But they don't say they themselves are in violation of copyright by redistributing copyrighted material AND without the copyright holder's name and permission.) ..And remember they "cannot grant permission".

Next sentence... after admitting in the first sentence they don't own the copyrights to the images they're hosting, they then tell the site visitor, these copyrighted images can only be used for 'personal use'. What exactly constitutes 'personal use'? This in itself is wide open for a wide range of interpretation. So, they're "assuming the right to tell people how they can be used", making the second sentence in direct conflict with their first sentence! They don't own the copyright but yet they're telling people how they can be used, when they are NOT authorized to say, period!

Third sentence... Here's where they are trying to cover their butt and play the "we're innocent" card. "In case of an error"? Umm.. presenting copyrighted material without the owner's consent AND name, multiplied by how many times they're in violation due to the number of copyrighted images they're hosting, I'd say there's no "in case of" and there's a multitude of errors!! Criminal errors!! ..Since there's a multitude of images that are owned by their creators. ..And should the copyright owners feel their work is being used "unknowingly"!? They admit they're hosting copyrighted material! ..and they're doing so "knowingly"!! ..and they're assuming the role of being authorized to tell people how the copyrighted material can be used!! Oh, and email them so they can 'immediately remove' copyrighted material from their website. So, only those copyright holders who become aware of their work being distributed and offered for use illegally will have their copyrighted works removed? ..And all the rest of the copyrighted images shall remain? Copyright infringement IS copyright infringement whether the copyright holder is aware of it or not!

Now to the fourth and last sentence and it is a dusie! "WE do not intend to 'display' ANY copyright protected images." REALLY!? HUH!? O.O In their very first sentence they, in their own words, "confirmed" that they most certainly DO "intend to display copyright protected images" because they admit that they are hosting copyright protected images! First sentence, again: "Please do not ask for permissions to use these images in your projects, as we do not own the copyrights for them."

So, here we have it. THIS is nothing but pure and deliberate BS!!! The first sentence and the last sentence are in contradiction of each other without a doubt. It can't be "both ways". ..And all that stuff in between? It's just nothing more than gibberish, solely intended to make the visitor to the site "believe" the site staff is innocent of any wrong doing and/or ill intentions. (But it can't be farther from the truth!) Unfortunately, many people would/will just glance over their copyright policy (which is a farce *cough cough*) and think it sounds good and then go through the images and take what they want without even being aware that they, themselves, are being party to violation of copyright should they use any of the images they download for ANY reason, personal use included.

There are many good people in this world still who wouldn't dream of taking something belonging to someone else and using it without the owner's permission. But it's websites like this one that make it seem okay to do by misleading people to think they aren't doing anything wrong. These thief gallery websites are committing fraud along with violation of copyright.

..And it's not just one site doing this, but several (which are being added to my "Art Thief BLACKLIST" to be published for the sole purpose of exposing the thieves.) AND they're doing this same practice to each other, downloading stolen images from another site that's hosting stolen images and then uploading the stolen images to their own site they've downloaded from another thief site. So, the artists' names who created the images and own the copyrights to them get completely eliminated in the process and all those who visit these sites, download and use these stolen images having NO clue whatsoever as to who created the images they're downloading and using. ..And WHO loses? The artists, the creators, the copyright owners, that's who.

Even if it's stated on these sites 'for personal use' only, these online thief galleries of stolen works have NO right to even offer them in the first place because the copyright rights still belong to the creators of the stolen images they're offering. Not only does copyright mean an image can't be used without the permission of its creator, but no one has the right to reproduce or redistribute copyrighted work either. THIS is important to know because it's within this "thief shuffling" that the creator's credit gets eliminated and their copyright violated!

One such site is www.pngmart.com (example above given of their 'copyright policy') because two of my graphics with transparent backgrounds have been uploaded to this site, with NO mention of my name, of course, the creator and copyright owner/holder. The images of mine are my Silver Pegasus with gold wings and a Christmas Frame, both of which I originally uploaded to Elftown, where they were then stolen from either by this thief site or another and then passed along as previously described.

In NO way whatsoever is Elftown or its owner responsible or liable in this thievery because "I" uploaded "my work" to Elftown but "I" have not uploaded "my work" to ANY of the "thief sites"! Nor have "I" given my permission to do so. ..And there's another wrongful twist to this thievery and it has to do with "website traffic". The RIGHTFUL host of my work gets denied the benefit of the traffic to SEE my work! Therefore, not only do these thief sites violate my copyright, but they rob the "deserving host of my work" the rightful traffic as well. Not only was it "my choice" to upload "my work" to Elftown to be the site to host it, but I also did so to help increase traffic to Elftown, which the thieves are also stealing! I don't know much about SEO stuff, but just common sense alone tells me this.

The Pegasus was part of Elftown's Creature Marathon project with Pegasus as the first featured creature. I created MANY graphics and several art pieces and uploaded them to Elftown towards this Pegasus Project for which I was awarded Best Contributor of the Pegasus Project. On the Elftown wiki-pages where I posted my Pegasus related graphics, I wrote all were made by and copyrighted to me AND were for Elftown members only to use "on the site" ONLY. I also made available ways to contact me.

So, there's no valid excuse to justify taking my work, using it, and/or adding it to other collections on other websites without my permission or even a mention of my name. The image I'm adding to this post shows my various Pegasuses that I've seen stolen, used, and/or added to other collections on websites other than Elftown.com.

I'm providing two image links here. One is where my work is supposed to be hosted, Elftown. The second is the image link to the same image that has been uploaded to a 'thief site' and when compared, anyone can see they are both the exact same image, my Silver Pegasus with gold wings, and is in the very same artwork I entered in the Pegasus Art (Contest page of) and the image I entered I am displaying here as well, so anyone can see Elftown hosts it right within the image address.

If any of these Pegasus images in this Pegasus collage of mine are floating around in "thief gallery collections" OR are being used as part of a website's make up, decor, or design OR used to promote a business OR are being placed on products that are being sold on Ebay, for example, then ALL are guilty of copyright violation and fraud, with these exceptions and ONLY these I'm listing here and now.

I have given permission to exactly three parties to use one of my Pegasus graphic images (with transparent backgrounds) and they include:
- A couple from Germany to benefit and help children.
- A book cover for the book, "The Horse Secret", written by Stevan Hoffman and Leslie Martin.
- For use on a website that is no longer in existence to my knowledge.
...And for hosting my Pegasus, Elftown. Anyone else using them or hosting them is in direct violation of my copyright rights!!!

One more thing... just very recently I took screengrabs of some Elftown wiki-pages, showing all visitors to Elftown the images are mine, are for "Elftown use ONLY", and ways to find me and contact me about them. The first grab is from an official Elftown wiki-page and the second is from one of my own Elftown wiki-pages related to my Pegasus works. So ANYONE who steals my work from Elftown is showing blatant and deliberate disregard for my work and my copyright rights! Hedda taught me WELL and what he didn't teach me, he inspired fiercely in me to learn how important it is to observe, collect, secure data and information that supports impeccably and unequivocally when someone violates our rights!!

..And no one can suggest either, that I recently updated any information on my wiki-pages because Hedda banned me from Elftown, August 25th, 2011, in one of his weaker moments because he didn't like what was entered in my artsieladie.com's guestbook from a close male friend of mine, thus denying me access to my wiki-pages. But this can also be double checked for accuracy by looking at the "last author" and date when edited, provided on every wiki-page.

To all artists, be wary because it's not "if" your copyright will be violated, but "when". Although I've mentioned here about a couple pieces of my work, it's really about all artists and our copyright rights and thieves who think they are entitled to do as they please and completely disregard "our creative rights". I would like very much to expand on this and help unite artists everywhere to make these art thieves accountable. If we artists made a BLACKLIST collectively, adding names and websites guilty of violating our copyrights and then put it out there, making it viral, I think we artists could collectively make it known across the Web that we aren't going to take it lying down, the theft of our works. I'm grateful for so many things,
For all the joys that life brings.
But I'm grateful too for lessons learned

So, what's today? It's month eleven,
The year two thousand and ten plus seven
And the day, well, it's twenty-two;
I've not forgotten the day or who.

How can a person so brilliant of mind
Be fooled by their ego and act unkind;
Cause resentment and hatred for what you do?
Yet, in my heart still I do NOT hate YOU.

I can only hope one day you'll see
There's beauty in you that eludes not me.
Although your thorns cut deep and tear,
Inside your heart, there's a rose in there.

It's where the real is in you and all the good,
But your ego's pride keeps this misunderstood.
Your self confidence has been sadly replaced
With arrogance, leaving humility all erased.

I cannot understand nor can I see,
Why, in the shadows, you keep on stalking me.
I am nothing special, just a rather plain Jane,
A too boring subject to intrigue your brain.

I write a lot about character in my words of rhyme,
And poetry's not your thing, a waste of your time?
I believe in God; Who I am Gifted by.
You believe not; His existence you deny.

Your best friend online, or so you did claim,
Said we'd never go well together to share a common aim.
You've banned and you've blocked me, yet you like to peek;
You listen to my conversations, yet to me you will not speak.

You like to call me a crazy liar and say I am paranoid,
Yet, when I ask you questions with data, answering, you avoid.
Instead, you become belligerent and cruelly accusatory;
Threaten me to shut me up should I tell the true story.

A close male friend of mine you resent and despise.
You sent him an email to lessen me in his eyes.
I guess you thought you could drive a wedge
Between us and in your favour, you'd have an edge.

But why an edge would you want, I ask;
Why concern yourself with such a task?
You've claimed straight out, emphatically,
You have no interest in this person, me.

His words of affection for me you cannot stand
When said in my guestbook, then me, you banned
With a slanderous banner to levy on me, the blame;
To punish me royally, to ruin, destroy my name.

Then because I said you can't control who's in my life,
You decided to cause me some more stress and strife
By destroying my computer, it's central brain.
God only knows what you thought you would gain.

When you were accused, your words I defended,
Knowing your accuser would be greatly offended
And would then turn their attack on me directly,
Because your words I understood them correctly.

When your online best friend shot you down,
Behind your back hoping upon you, I would frown,
Though you caught her red handed, gave her payback,
Against me you stood for her stabbing your back.

I've seen your ugly; I've seen your worst,
Because you insist on placing it first.
Most would quickly and simply assume
That for good within, you have no room.

But I'm one of the few who'll dare to scale
A wall so high and thick where thorns prevail.
Most are discouraged at the dragon's gate,
An adventure too risky to investigate.

I've felt the burn of your venomous bite
For showing respect, treating you right.
I've felt the sting of your words so curt;
My reward for giving to you was only hurt.

I have plenty of reasons to for you feel hate,
But hatred isn't a trait I'll feed into or bait.
There's way too much hatred in this world we live.
So, if from me, it's hatred you want, I cannot give.

Instead, for you I'll hope and I'll pray
That the better in you shall win one day;
That some day your knowledge you'll use for good
And perhaps, remember that I knew you could.

Though only glimpses I've been able to see,
Through brambles and thorns to discourage me,
I know inside you, there's so much more
Worthy of beckoning for one to explore.

It's really so sad and pathetic to see
Someone waste their talent to lesser be,
While inside hidden is potential so great,
But trapped untapped in a dormant state.

It's so easy to forget how we commit treason
Against Love when there's plenty to give us reason
To be resentful and bitter and so unforgiving,
Yet, the Elements of Love bring us peaceful living.

Perhaps, one day in the mirror you will see
The best still within you and you'll set it free.
Then you'll no longer need to your true self, conceal;
Knowing true value in yourself is priceless to feel.

But today's your day to commemorate,
Your birth and with joy, celebrate.
In spite of yourself I do wish for you
