Below are my favorites among the images I took during the day. Dennis, Daniela, and I worked as a true team, so the images I have are mostly candids during the formals, images from the ceremony, and stills from the reception. Dennis’ forte’ is portrait lighting so he has the formal images that I posed. Daniela’s talents lie in the details, so she has the macro images of the bride’s attire and the decor. We made a great team, and it was a blast working as a threesome.

First Look

Ashely & Freddie agreed to a First Look at their venue. The first time they saw each other was just the two of them—and all three of us out of earshot with our long-range lenses—-creating a truly romantic moment that they will undoubtedly remember forever. The look on Freddie’s face is priceless. (And doesn’t she look great in that amazing dress? You should see the images from her bridal session that Kathy took. What a special and private moment for them to cherish.

Ceremony

The ceremony was full of lines of scripture coupled with real-life examples of how they can be applied to today’s society.

Brother Joe gave a wonderful wedding talk.

Freddie and Ashley chose to seal their covenant with a traditional kiss.

Reception

The reception included a wonderful dinner, followed by many sweet family moments, and copious dancing!

The weather was fabulous and the bluebonnets gave some great scenery!

Stacey & Steven could not have asked for a prettier day for a wedding. The bluebonnets were in full bloom, the sky was blue, and it was a warm day.

Stacey planned a beautiful unity ceremony with colored sand. Each family poured a small vase of sand into a larger vase. During the unity ceremony, Stacey & Steven added their own sand (chocolate brown for him, magenta for her), and then Brother Chris added a layer of white sand to represent God and the church uniting the family. Steven also sang a beautiful song to Stacey.

Their reception was a wonderful party at the Veranda.

Congratulations, again, Stacey & Steven. It has been a real honor to work with you during this special time in your life together.

The 2009 Spring Bridal Show & Benefit is being held at Reed Arena on Sunday, March 29, 2009. Browse over 100 vendors as you wind your way through the event and visit one on one with the professionals who can personalize your wedding, reception or honeymoon just for you! Proceeds from the show will benefit The American Red Cross - Brazos Valley Branch.

Tickets are $15 per person, in advance online. $20 per person at the door.

Advance ticket sales end at noon Friday, March 27, 2009. All tickets are non-refundable. Every person or child, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the show. No strollers are allowed in the show to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Prize drawings for brides!
