Format Tweak: Since we typically spend a lot of time in discussion over the news items, we’re going to remove the dedicated Discussion Topic and change it to a more Open discussion time.  So, what will happen going forward is that we’ll put out a couple of calls each week on twitter for a topic or topics you’d like us to discuss, and we’ll discuss them.  Additionally, if there are any topics that we don’t have a news item as an excuse to discuss them, we may also bring in topics of our own.  For example, this week I wanted to talk about Crafting, but there wasn’t a newsy excuse to talk about Crafting, so we’ll talk about that later.

Launch Day/Headstart tips and tricks
Dave – Need to travel but don’t have a close waypoint? start running, but stow that weapon. A weapon can be wielded or stowed, where it is visible on the back or hip of the character. When a weapon is stowed, the character’s movement speed increases.

Personal Waypoint – You can hold ALT and click on your minimap to make a personal Waypoint. It is viewed on your party’s map as well with your name highlighted as the waypoint!
VERY useful when trying to get your party to one place. You need to have explored the area before you can use your buddy’s waypoint.

Instant cast spells can be cast while channeling another spell.
