Ascension Risk Management was founded by Stephen Price, a risk and HSSEQ professional with frontline and executive experience across major construction projects, process operations, and COMAH and safety-case high-hazard environments.
The business is built on experience gained at the operational front line, where HSSEQ controls are tested under real-world pressure. This foundation developed a practical, outcomes-focused approach to risk management rooted in how work is actually delivered — not how it is assumed to operate.
Progressing into senior and executive roles, this experience expanded to supporting leadership teams and boards in strengthening governance, embedding proportionate controls, and providing defensible regulatory assurance. The journey from hands-on delivery to executive accountability underpins Ascension’s philosophy.
