New Belgium to Brew in Asheville's River Arts District

In conjunction with the Economic Development Coalition for Asheville-Buncombe County (EDC), New Belgium Brewing Company announced the selection of Asheville, North Carolina to build its first expansion brewery outside of Fort Collins, Colorado. The nation’s third-largest craft brewer plans to invest $175 million over seven years to build a state-of-the-art brewery in Asheville’s historic River Arts District on Craven Street.

Young Professionals of Asheville is now accepting nominations for the 40 under Forty Awards, which recognize the area's young leaders for their business success and achievements as an active member of the community.

Young Professionals of Asheville is partnering with the Biltmore Beacon/Mountaineer Publishing Co. to host the first ever 40 Under Forty Awards Gala in Asheville.

To nominate someone for 40 Under Forty, fill out the form on the web, or on letterhead. Then, in 200 words or less, explain why the nominee is worthy of the honor. Self-nomination is allowed, but each nominee will need letters of support (which can be submitted online or via mail) from at least one workplace colleague or supervisor and one member of the community at large.
