I wasn't too thrilled when it started snowing - - I was getting ready for spring! Ha, winter just started! It snowed for 12 hours straight & then we received a lovely dose of freezing rain/sleet making the roads OH SO FUN (ha!). My office ended up sending us home early Thursday afternoon & shut down for Friday. Pretty excited for some snow time with my girls!! Here's a few photos I've captured!

This little guy's momma received a newborn gift certificate! He was supposed to arrive mid-December but decided to arrive 3 months EARLY! We decided to keep a mid-December session (he was my last session of 2011!) since he was so tiny. When I met him he was a little over 7lbs, crazy since he was almost 3 months old! At first he slept pretty well & didn't mind me moving him around but once he was awake, he was VERY alert & ready to party!

Hooray! We're expecting a new bundle!! Our family of 4 is going to be a family of 5 early June!! I love being able to document my pregnancy & cherish every tiny moment with this seedling in my belly. Here are a couple of photos that I took at 18 1/2 weeks. In a few short days we will be finding out what we are having! Everyone is thrilled!

For future clients/sessions this means I will be taking maternity leave from approximately the end of May to the beginning of July but it all depends on when Baby Bateman decides to grace us with his/her presence! I plan on taking between 3-4 weeks off.

Oh how I love taking baby photos, especially this age, the 6-9 months age group is just so much fun. They can sit, they smile, they are just happy happy babes! This is my friend's 2nd daughter, I took her momma's maternity photos & took her newborn photos at just 11 days new. Its amazing to watch her grow!!

So I met these little one's mamma while I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter, Ava. She works for a local coffee shop & always makes the best Chai Tea (while I was pregnant) and now the best flavored Redbulls and Milky Way Frapees this girl could ask for! I photographed him as a tiny newborn as well. It's exciting to watch him grow & I hope to continue watching him grow through my lens :)

So far I haven't had the honor of photographing any engagement sessions so I was thrilled when I found out several months ago that my sis-in-law was getting married!! Who better to practice on then family, right!? We had to reschedule this session from last weekend due to icky weather. About an hour before the session, the clouds started rolling in & I was getting bummed that it'd be another reschedule! We stuck with it & made it work even though it was a tad chilly (depends WHO you ask!) and fairly windy! I am very pleased with the results though. Their wedding date is set for 9.10.11 ~ Easy to remember date!! My little girls are their flowers girls! :) Cannot wait.

Congrats you two ~ You are such a sweet match!!

I totally LOVED this session! We had it scheduled for last weekend but the weather wasn't cooperating! Yesterday, however, it was a great! It was a bit overcast when we first started but eventually the sunshine came out, which I loved! This beautiful mamma is waiting on a sweet baby boy. She also got a newborn session so stay tuned for his debut!!
