<p>The honors were announced last week during the brand’s annual convention in Nashville, recognizing top-producing professionals across a network of more than 40,000 agents operating from 1,360 offices.</p>
<p>At the forefront of the field was <a href="https://www.nelsongonzalez.com/">Nelson Gonzalez</a> of BHHS EWM Realty, who has amassed more than $4 billion in career sales and achieved the distinction of No. 1 worldwide in the “individual agent” category following a banner year in 2025 that included the $74.25 million sale of 88 La Gorce Circle – the highest single-family home sale in Miami Beach that year.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://gablesfoundation.org/2025/10/28/annual-gala-2025-news-release/">Coral Gables Community Foundation</a> marked its most successful gala to date with The Golden Age Gala: A 1925 Soirée, held Friday, October 17, 2025 at the <a href="https://www.loewshotels.com/coral-gables">Loews Coral Gables</a> Hotel.</p>

<p>Co-chaired by <a href="http://www.ashleycusack.com/">Ashley Cusack</a> and Danielle Gonzalez, the sold-out black-tie event paid tribute to Coral Gables’ centennial and the elegance of 1925—inviting guests to step into a world of Art Deco glamour, vintage cocktails, and jazz-age energy.</p>

<p>The Gala’s mission centers on expanding access to higher education through the <a href="https://gablesfoundation.org/programs/scholarships/">Foundation’s Scholarship Fund</a> while investing in initiatives that enhance quality of life throughout Coral Gables. Thanks to the generosity of donors and sponsors, the Foundation awarded 207 scholarships totaling $3.25 million —part of more than $6.3 million in scholarships and grants distributed in 2025.</p>

<p>The sold-out event welcomed 400 community leaders, philanthropists, and supporters for an immersive evening inspired by the glamour of 1925. Live jazz, dynamic performances, and a spirited live auction created a memorable celebration that reflected Coral Gables’ history, elegance, and enduring commitment to philanthropy. Most importantly, the evening set a new benchmark for fundraising success, positioning the Foundation to expand its impact in 2026.</p>

With 20 new clay courts and a beautiful 700-seat stadium honoring Chris Evert, the center is a meaningful nod to tennis history and a major investment in the future of junior tennis here in South Florida.</p>
<p>The Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships—one of the world’s premier junior tournaments—now officially calls this incredible facility home.</p>

<p>This week, I had the pleasure of attending a <a href="mailto:https://seraphicfire.org/">Seraphic Fire</a> performance at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church here in Coral Gables, and it was nothing short of exceptional.</p>
<p>Seraphic Fire is Florida’s Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble, and over the past two decades, they have become a staple of the local and national arts community. Their roster is populated by performers, teachers, and scholars who represent the best of the American school of vocal and instrumental training, led by its founder, <a href="mailto:https://seraphicfire.org/about/patrick-dupre-quigley.html">Patrick Dupre Quigley</a>.</p>
<p>Founded in Miami, Seraphic Fire has earned a reputation for musical precision, thoughtful programming, and performances that stay with you long after the final note. Hearing them in such an intimate and historic setting made the evening particularly memorable.</p>
<p>For anyone looking to elevate their holiday season or simply enjoy world-class choral music, I highly recommend attending one of their upcoming performances.</p>
