The report is called Five Reasons Why Most People Don't Become Wealthy. Now I am too busy, but this title caught my attention and I stopped doing whatever I was doing and downloaded the report.
By all means I don't want to be misunderstood, money is not everything. There are many different situations and fortunately there are people who would just give away whatever wealth they accumulate to charities. I am not talking about this, but you KNOW what I mean ;-)

Brian has some very interesting insights in psychology of wealth. According to him the first reason why most people don't become wealthy is that they don't have a role model. If you weren't born into a wealthy family, if you are socializing with people who don't manage their money well and are always broke and struggling, it might never even occur to you that you actually can be a wealthy woman. You just automatically assume that being wealthy is something that happens to other people only.

The second reason according to Brian is that you fail to take a decision to become rich. Even if you realize it is possible, even if you attend seminars and read money books, nothing will happen unless you take an action. To get different results you need to do different things. Now I know we all know this one, but repeating things over and over works like magic, doesn't it?

The third reason is procrastination. You decide to take an action, but you procrastinate. The time is never right. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next Monday, next month or right after New Year.

The fourth reason is your inability to delay gratification. If you have to spend every penny you earn, you are unlikely to accumulate a lot of money. If you are serious about becoming a rich girl, you have to change your habits and discipline yourself. This is not about refusing yourself a $5 latte from Starbucks, it is about real discipline, a real well-thought long-term money plan. This is why the lack of time perspective is the fifth reason. If you want to accumulate wealth you need to plan your spending with long term picture in mind. If you think only about what you desire here and now, you are likely to spend all what you have.

Most of them have a health problem of some sort: untreated hypothyroidism, blood sugar problems, cortisol problems. Even mild hormonal imbalance may result in weight gain and difficulty to lose weight. Once the issue is addressed you might be amazed how much easier it becomes to lose weight.

Possible hormonal problems that may interfere with weight loss were described here: Weight Loss Hormones: Why You Can't Lose Weight.

2. Educate yourself.

Read diet books. Don't feel you have to take sides, like being pro- low-carb or low-fat. We are not doing politics, we are only trying to lose weight and find what works best for us. So read them all. They all work, your task is to understand why it works. For example, it is very beneficial to know about ketosis - low-carbohydrate hight-fat diets trick. From another side, you absolutely should know about benefits of high-fiber diets too. So educate yourself. Keep in mind that extremes like low-carb or low-fat are good only for short periods of time.

3. Find a circle of support.

Find people to who you would report your progress. This is crucial. If you have someone to report to you will be less likely to fail. Also, you will need an emotional support and encouragement. Ideally, you will need people who are in the same situation like you. You will be inspired by their progress, which will give you strength to continue.

4. Create no-fail environment.

Don't store candies or whatever makes you fat at home. If it's not there you can't eat it - as simple as that. If you have other family members who insist on having this type of foods at home, ask them to buy only limited amounts, just what they possibly would need for a day.

5. Join a gym.

If you never had a gym membership you may simply not know how much fun you might be missing. Exercise doesn't have to be hard and boring. You don't have to run on treadmill looking in one point for 30 minutes. Instead joined a kind of gym that offers classes. Body combat and U-bound classes are terrific ways to lose weight, release stress and have fun all the way. One class of U-bound burns up to 800 calories. Body combat will make you feel like gladiator and you are likely to discover some new sides of your personality you never knew about. Once you get to the gym you'll see that most people there don't have weight problems. Why do you think they are going there? To have fun!

Last but not the least, realize that losing weight (or doing a diet) is not about staying hungry. It is about changing your habits, replacing some old behaviors with new more productive behaviors.
