Recently, I discovered a delicious recipe for extremely chocolatey hot chocolate! I never like Milo anyways. Usually, I would buy the Cadbury instant hot chocolate for alternative.

Now that I've found the perfect recipe, I'm gonna mix my own hot chocolate for the rest of my life!

This is love.
It is absolutely perfect for a rainy day!

End of Semester 2

err...almost!

I finally finished all of my final exams today!!! This semester has been a joyful one. I made new friends, learned new things, gained extra fat, strengthenend friendships with friends, and many many more. I hope I will be able to achieve what I wanted for this semester InsyaAllah. Doa doa kan. I'm quite worried with one of my final paper :/

I am still not done though. I have not receive the draft of my final year project yet. So, I guess I'm gonna have to wait till next week to finish everything. There's also another project to do for ITG which I have to submit by Monday. Lots of things goin on! This is actually my first time extending my stay at the University.

Anyway, I hope to finish everything as soon as possible because I cannot wait to go home!!! My family and my new arm candy are waiting pour moi!

Home Cooked Meals

One of the best thing about being home is eating home cooked meals! Just look at these yummylicious food cooked by my Mother, and chopped by my Father.

This is what we had for lunch:

1. Otak otak or as I would prefer to call it Fish nuggets
2. Mom's Sambal Belacan
3. Mom's Special Eggplant
4. Calamari Masala
5. Steamed Fish with Ginger, Garlic, and Chillies.

This is what we had for Dinner. It's a rather simple dish ;) My lil brother marinated the chicken. My Father grilled 'em. And my Mother cooked those green beans!

I, on the other hand, only did the dishes like usual. Cooking is not my forté. I just don't like to cook, but I do hope it's just a temporary thing!

Now, I miss home and I'll be home soon in less than 2 weeks time! hooray!

Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory

Back then when I was a little kid, my Mom used to borrow lotsa videos from the Library. One of the movies that I remember most is Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (1971).

I used to watch it over and over again...and even until today, it remains as one of my all time favorite classic movie. Heck, I even unwrapped my chocolate bar like Charlie while singing "I've got a golden ticket". Best. Song. Ever.

Today, I finally managed to watch the remake of Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory which is renamed to Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

Though I prefer the classic version of this movie....I found that the remake answered a lot of unknown questions that were left out from the first version. For instance, the endings for the rest of those misbehaved kids and Willy himself. Oh, and also the history of Willy when he was a kid. Oh annnd not to forget...where Oompa Loompa originated from!

If you haven't watch any of these movies, I suggest that you do. Both movies have a lot of good life lessons to learn from.

One of the most memorable quotes I remember from the remake version is when Willy ask this to Charlie:

Willy Wonka: What makes you feel better when you feel terrible?
Charlie: My Family.

Such a simple answer from Charlie!

Now I miss my family!

I shall applaud my Mom for picking out the right movie for me to watch when I was a little kid heehee.

Although, I do think she picked it out because of the word "Chocolate"

Multitasking

I am currently working on my final year project, and this is exactly how my table looks like...well almost...there's a 90% similarities to the cartoon.

There's the computer (laptop in my case), earphones plugged in ears, books and papers everywhere, food, a cuppa hot chocolate...you name it!

I cannot wait for this semester and next semester to end.

Rainy Night

It has been raining a lot lately at night...which is just super awesome! I am loving the natural free of charge AC!

This is the view from my room. I live on one of the highest level of the University's hostel/flat/whatever you wanna call it.

Usually, I would open my window...but I stopped doing that now because I just hate waking up the next day with extremely visible red dots on my face. I never thought mosquitos could fly so high?

Oh well!

MUET

Oh my my my. Honestly typing, English tests always give me goosebumps.

I just took MUET this morning, and man! It was not great.

Here are my story and tips:

The first part was reading. It was alright, but somehow the way I conveyed the text passages were quite different than the answers given. There must be something wrong with my brain then =P.
I kinda enjoyed the passages though. I thought they were quite interesting.

*Tips: Read the questions first and then, read the passages. You'll know what you have to look for, hence, saving every seconds of your time.

Then comes the writing part. *shivers*. I personally think they need to allocate more time for writing. I am a slow writer mind you. It takes time for me to think about all these points and examples and combine them to pretty paragraphs. And not to mention, my general knowledge is below par...which is a sign that I should read more newspaper after this -.- Oh well. I'm pretty sure those elementary kids could write better than me just now. *pfft*

*Tips: Don't waste any second. 90 minutes is not enough! Don't forget to have the basic paragraphs; Introduction, Content, Content, Content, Conclusion.

The last part was listening. It was the easiest test for me *yay*. If you happen to take listening test in a huge auditorium (like me), there are high chances that you won't be able to hear the speakers. The voices will bounce back and you won't be able to understand a word that they're saying. That's what happened to me today.

After the first track played, I straightly yelled loudly: "TAK DENGAR!" and so did the rest of the participants. Luckily for us, the invigilator changed the position of the speaker to center, played the track once again...and ahhhh it was crystal clear!

*Tips: If you can't hear, notify your invigilator a.s.a.p! And, make sure you read the questions thoroughly first. The speakers don't talk in direct order as the questions.

My speaking test was last month. From what I could remember, I kinda screwed that too. I don't even know what came out of my mouth. There were too many "umm" "like like like" =P

*Tips: Speak calmly. Don't rush. 2 minutes is PLENTY of time. Trust me!
