Revenue Management Utility Compensation Nurse, Combined Business Office, FT, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Responsible for reviewing medical charts in order to properly coordinate and generate appeal to overturn carrier denials. This position requires auditing UR notes on concurrent review for acute and/or sub-acute inpatient stays, inclusive of the admission review, and hospital discharge. This review is conducted using Milliman and/or Inter-Qual Guidelines, with physician referral and review as appropriate. Assesses level and completes appropriate documentation for tracking/trending data. May create or maintain reporting and/or statistics.

Coding Education Manager, Health Information Management, FT, 8:00 am-4:30pm

Assists in the management and supervision of staff in the HIM coding training program preparing coders with the knowledge and skills necessary to move upward within the coder hierarchy (from outpatient to outpatient surgery coding and/or form outpatient surgery to inpatient coding) and/or educating level entry coders that have a coding certificate without experience. Supports revenue cycle by ensuring coder trainee meets performance standards for timely billing meeting account receivable goals and appropriate reimbursement in accordance to CMS, OIG, and BHSF policies. Supervises approximately five to seven employees at different levels of experience and coding knowledge. Chief Medical Informatics Officer

The Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) serves as the bridge between the Baptist Health South Florida medical staffs and the Information Technology department. The Chief Medical Informatics Officer reports to Baptist Health South Floridas Chief Information Officer. The CMIO is primarily responsible for determining the information system and workflow requirements of the physician community. The CMIO works in partnership with nursing, ancillary, risk management, performance improvement and revenue cycle departments to promote the use of information technology in the clinical setting to improve patient safety and support of BHSF quality goals. Responsible for chairing physician technology committees to provide broad-based input into the selection, design, implementation, and support of physician information systems to support excellence in patient care.
