We need some help in regards to getting�writers�to test and create content on a website we are launching soon. Our website, www.NichePage.com, allows people to create pages and share their knowledge of products with others. It's sort of like squidoo and hubpages but instead of allowing any content to be created, it focuses on only blogs about products. Our goal is to change the way people shop online and make it easier for shoppers to gain the knowledge they need to find good products�

We would love for writers to create a page on NichePage.com and give us feedback with their experience. We are launching a private Beta on June 4th. Our goal during our private Beta is to see what users think about the website and to also create some content before our public launch in early July.�

The most excellent host to make use is �webstarts.com�. Without difficulty they switched over to own domain name. I recommend �Webstarts� since they help to obtain ranks on Google, Bind and Yahoo.

I don't think it's that easy anymore, but still you can use social media like facebook, twitter, facebook and videos like YouTube.

and also try blogging and use low (very low) competition keywords to rank for.

I think that no follow links do not provides any type of benefits in SEO because no follow not crawl by the search engines. So, In this respect no follow links are worthless.

Hi

You have already read some articles, blog posts and forum topics about the new google update called penguin.

and as most of webmasters some of you want to know what is this update.

in short, it is an update that have pushed about 80% of the websites deep in the SERPs .

the most important elements of this update are.
keywords stuffing and backlinks from web-spam

and instead of trying hard to understand the update itself i want to recommend this:

If you had a positive change in the ranking, that mean you are doing a good job and the penguin did not hit your site, so keep what you are doing and improve.

If your site was hit and you have lost ranking, that mean you need to change what you are doing. and here is what you can do:

1. update your content, if it's HTML page, it's a good idea to update, have less keywords, less outbound links and make it user friendly with less advertising and banners. if it's a blog so change some of the side bar content and advertising and reduce the links.

2. stop spinning articles, and stop using blog networks that spin articles.

3. stop using any software that build links for you like blog commenting and social media posting.

4. focus on manual and natural link building like forum posting, and comments from good related blogs and even guest blogging, also directories still give good links.

do not try to fix your ranking, you will waste your time and for nothing. just change the way you are building backlinks and think what links will look natural and from good pages.

What I need to participate in the service Adsense?: Only need to be the administrator of a website and make a request to the Google team. That yes, Google has some very clear rules with the quality of the websites, not to insert AdSense on pages that have pop-ups or dialers, for example.

Once your site has been accepted, you can start inserting advertising in minutes. However, it may be that the ads are not visible for a few hours since the Google ad server have to crawl your site.

Hi kamat, Whole books have been written on marketing websites, so I'll just cover a few things that I've discovered are really important.

First, as an SBI owner, you'll know that SBI offers heaps of excellent advice. If you have an SBI site and haven't made a sale, perhaps you've spread yourself too thin, trying a variety of different things instead of concentrating on doing just ONE thing well, until it works.

For example, some clever website owners, instead of churning out a 100 mediocre articles, spend days or maybe even a week doing original research and then produce a really interesting, original article that lots of people link to.

This is a HUGELY important lesson to learn.

Most of us aren't clever enough to do this successfully, but we may be able to come close to that sort of success by either hiring someone to create the content, or interviewing a successful person.

...my interview was mentioned on a busy forum and I received a lot of traffic from that forum, and a few dozen Facebook likes.

One of the most powerful things you can do is change your mindset.

Stop thinking about making money or reviewing products or getting links or writing blog posts. Start thinking: "What can I do to ATTRACT ATTENTION?"

For example...

FORUMS: Many forum users haven't a clue how to promote their sites on forums.

Many post dumb one-liners and a signature with a link in it, not understanding that in many cases Google is NOT following those links because they are not "dofollow" links.

Some forum users try blatant ads, most of which are deleted. If they're not deleted, those wrongly placed ads portray the website owner as a spammer. Not a good way to get attention.

Every now and then, along comes a really SMART forum user.

Mr Smart Forum User spends maybe 20 minutes or even longer crafting a helpful, really USEFUL post or answer to a question. People read it and think, "This guy knows what he's talking about." And so they look for a link to his website so they can read more.

Hey presto! You've got a winning formula. You've got REAL traffic from a real visitor, who is arriving in a positive frame of mind. Perhaps they will even follow a recommendation you make (not a sales pitch) and buy a product you recommend. Perhaps they will sign up for your newsletter and then you'll have repeated opportunities to sell them something.

It all starts with something REAL and useful. Something genuine that helps build TRUST, which is enormously important.

So if you're reviewing coffee makers, or whatever, you need to work hard to become an expert on coffee makers, so you can participate intelligently and helpfully in any discussions on them.

If everything you do is superficial fluff (I haven't seen your site, so please don't take this as criticism), you won't make an impression on Google and you won't make an impression on your website visitors.

BLOG COMMENTS: Among blog comments, you'll see heaps of brief dumb comments from amateurs trying to promote their sites. Then along comes Mr Smart Blog Commenter, who adds a thoughtful, really USEFUL comment, something that helps the blog owner and also impresses visitors.

YOUTUBE: Same on YouTube - lots of quick, dumb comments, and a few thoughtful, useful ones, that make people think.

ARTICLE DIRECTORIES: Similar thing on article directories, which are less useful than the used to be. Mainly they're crammed full of mediocre stuff, and Google is treating them accordingly. Mr Smart Article Writer spends a day or maybe even a week writing an amazingly helpful article which has people looking for more.

I hope by now you're starting to see a pattern. Everywhere you go online, BUILD YOUR REPUTATION! Stop fiddling about with usernames like John8763, put your name to everything you do, and write ONLY stuff that is useful, interesting or funny. Choose a memorable domain name, too.

Be the best you can be, build a reputation for that, and you'll also get much more satisfaction out of what you're doing.

Writing brilliant articles isn't something most of us can do, but here's something we can ALL do. It's an old idea, but still a good one...

One simple way some people succeed in getting attention is by coming up with a list of The 10 best..., The 10 worst..., The 10 funniest, The 10 most effective, The 10 prettiest..., The 10 ugliest..., The 10 most original..., The 10 cutest..., The 10 craziest... The 10 cheapest..., The 10 silliest..., The 10 dumbest, etc., etc.

Spend a day thinking up other "top 10" ideas. Takes notes. It will be time well spent.

Here's an easy way to expand on those "10 best" ideas. Use a synonym finder. For example, go to Synonym.com and type in "crazy" and you'll find demented, disturbed, mad, sick, unbalanced, unhinged, insane.

You could write an article titled "The 10 most insane ways..."

Here's a personal example of doing things well...

About 10 years ago, I hired a student who was new to affiliate marketing. He created two successful SBI sites, and also wrote case studies describing what he'd done. Over the years, those case studies have received many thousands of visitors and I've earned thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions as a result.

Quality takes time, effort, commitment, and maybe money, too, but it can pay off hugely. It's worth the effort.

If you want to find some clues as to what works well, study what the best SEO companies are doing visibly. (Some SEO companies may be doing stuff behind the scenes, but it's impossible to hide everything you do if you're doing effective marketing.)

We used to be able to use Yahoo's Site Explorer to find out where websites are getting their links. Unfortunately, Yahoo shut that down so you now need to use a tool like Open Site Explorer. It has a limited, free, option.

If you use it, one of things you'll discover is that smart SEO guys often write guest posts for prominent, popular blogs. This boosts their image, attracts traffic, and gives them a very high quality link to their website.

Unfortunately, if your website reviews an obscure product, it may be difficult to think of something useful or funny to write in a guest post. You might need to hire a talented writer to help you.

Here's one thing you can do today to promote your new website:

Do some research and write "10 best..." style article and use it as a guest post on a blog in your niche. Start by approaching an obscure blog whose owner will appreciate the attention. As you get more experience, aim higher and approach more popular blogs.

Also, it's worth remembering that Google is changing, putting a bit more emphasis on fresh content and on visitor participation. Google seems to like sites that publish frequent new articles and videos and attract visitors who get involved, sharing your content with their friends.

As Google keeps changing, simple little static affiliate sites will find it harder to compete with the large, busy sites. I think simple small sites are yesterday's news. You should be going in the other direction, I believe. Do ONE thing really well before you move on to your next project.

If you get bored quickly and are always looking for a new challenge (been there, done that), perhaps you could create five or seven different sections on your site. Work on one section for a while and when you get bored, go to another section.

It's much easier to promote ONE site, than promoting a whole lot of small sites. Been there, done that, too.

There's no point in moving on to something new until you've learned how to do ONE thing well. You must master the basics. If you haven't made a sale yet, you haven't mastered the basics.

You've already bought marketing courses and ebooks. Take the time to study each one carefully and take notes, as if you were going to sit an exam. Some really successful marketers say they read a book seven times to "internalize" it.

Print out this post and stick on the wall by your computer. Used well, this free advice could be worth many thousands of dollars, each year, for years to come.

Read once or skimmed over quickly, it's probably worth nothing.

Now I must get back to writing that well researched article I'm working on.
